I have been a patient of Markson Chiropractic for around 20 years, give or take. They offer…read morechiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, tens stim, massage chairs, post-accident treatment, spinal decompression and more. This is NOT a case of "jack of all trades, master of none". This practice is made. up of the best practitioners of their trade. They recently moved into a new, sprawling space, with lots of treatment rooms, services, rehabilitation services and more. It is a clean, bright, enjoyable place to be! I am a patient with chronic back pain, with bone spurs on my vertebrae and bulging and herniated discs. I do the spinal decompression and adjustment every time I go, which is every two weeks. I tend to see two of the doctors, depending on who is available on the days I go. Dr. Markson and Dr. Daner are friendly, efficient, professional and truly care for the comfort and wellbeing of their patients. Let's talk about front office. I have "fired" many a doctor because of a lacking front office, or apathetic patient care. This is NOT the case here. This front office is filled with friendly, smiling, helpful humans that have your wellbeing at the top of their priorities. This is a busy office - do not let that deter you. There are enough doctors and staff that it runs like a well-oiled machine. Jenn has been with the office for as long as I can remember, and is a shining beacon of "welcome" when you walk through the door. Savannah and Lisa are usually there when I come in on Saturday mornings. They know me, they are friendly. I don't see going in to get adjusted as a chore because it's like visiting friends/family. I mentioned this is a busy office. No worries. In 20 years, I can say confidently that I have been told "no appointment is available" less times than would fill one hand. The team works with my schedule, they will fit me in if there is any possibility of getting me an appointment - last minute, same day, plan ahead - they got me covered. The patient care and wellbeing is top priority here. I will continue going to Markson Chiropractic as long as I can. I HIGHLY recommend this business!!

I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time because Dr. Gena and her team truly…read moredeserve it. I've been seeing Dr. Gena for years, and I can't say enough good things about her and the entire team. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely cares about her patients. Last year, I unexpectedly passed out during an appointment and ended up being hospitalized for four days. Dr. Gena was incredible. She stayed calm, made sure I was taken care of, and genuinely cared about my well-being. I'll never forget how supportive she was during such a scary experience. I've also tried their SoftWave therapy, and it completely eliminated the leg pain I had been experiencing. I honestly wasn't expecting such a dramatic improvement, but it worked incredibly well for me. Another treatment I highly recommend is the trigger point massage. Estefanny is the absolute best! My job is very stressful, and I tend to carry a lot of tension in my muscles. Whenever I'm knotted up, her trigger point massages make a tremendous difference. Both Dr. Gena and Dr. Heather are excellent at chiropractic adjustments. They take the time to listen, explain things, and always make me feel comfortable. My neck and back pain have improved significantly over the years. Because I have an anxiety disorder, I don't expect to ever be completely pain-free, but regular treatment has made a meaningful difference in my quality of life. If you're looking for a chiropractic office with a caring team that truly puts patients first, I highly recommend Dr. Gena, Dr. Heather, Estefanny, and everyone at the practice. I'm grateful for everything they've done for me over the years.

Great staff. Look forward to my appointments and seeing all my friends. Always leave feeling great bread more

I've had lower back pain for years and the last episode I had was so painful I considered surgery…read more Thankfully, I visited Dr Frankel and what he did was, in my opinion, nothing short of a miracle. It's been a couple of years and his adjustments, tips on posture, stretching and exercises have really kept me away from thinking about going under the knife

My experience was not the same as the other reviewer. This Chiro shares a building with an attorney…read moreand when I walked into the lobby the first thing I noticed was the smell of wet dog. It was raining - maybe there was a leak in the building ( a whole in the ceiling -where its apparent they are getting work done & the borders on the wall were all stripped away) I should've maybe taken this as a sign. I asked the receptionist if there was a dog in the building because it smelled like pet and she responded that "it must be the tenant upstairs" -- ooook. I was in quite a bit of pain otherwise I would've just left at that point. The inside of his personal practice was much nicer than the lobby -so I calmed down a bit. I waited 15 minutes in a room before the Chiro came in to see me. He was talking quite a bit and I really wanted to just get to the adjustment. He needed to do 2 x-rays - which my insurance didn't cover. They were $45 each -so with My co-pay and the x-rays I walked away spending $120. He then had his assistant put me on a machine that rolled up and down my spine - just a little tickle for 20 minutes. Then she moved me to a room and put a heat pack on back for another 20 minutes. (Mind you I came in for a full adjustment as I've had the issue prior and this is what my Chiro in Los Angeles normally does) When he finally saw me (mind you - the minor adjustment did relieve the pain) but he purposely did not do a full adjustment to see me again the next day and get my insurance to pay another $110 dollars to his facility. Really- maybe I could have let go that his facility was not up to par or that it smelled like an animal. But the fact that he did the stereotypical Chrio "let me give you more sessions though I can finish in one to get the insurance" really bothered me very much. Lastly he apologizes about the smell because his tenant upstairs put his toilet in wrong - which has caused it to be a musty and I replied ' Ummm gross - it doesn't effect the equipment I'm laying on does it??? " Definitely a weird experience. It reminded of a scene out of minority report when he gets his eyes removed in that disgusting facility --wasn't that bad but as I've experience great chiropractic work in other states my standards were up here ^^^ when I should've lowered them exponentially. I would not recommend this Chiropractor. And I requested a copy of my x-rays and they said they wouldn't be ready for a day. when I call they say oh we only put them on a disc...Soooo what did I pay $45 for each one for??? I would assume the film processing of the x-ray. Whoosaww!

Today I will talk about my husband experience at this magical place. But first things first…read more He was diagnosed with protrusions in between his L3, L4, and L5. Those discs in his spine are almost herniated and the pain he has been feeling is far from fun! The great problem is that the protrusion in the discs cause a huge inflammation in his sciatica nerve, and unfortunately this is not the worst, the pain was so bad that his periformis muscle (located deep in the butt) got overwhelmed so his posture were getting all deformed. At first I advise him to visit our family doctor, and in the first attempt to make the pain go away was through pain killers. Basically two months ago when the pain reached the worst ever, he started taking medication. The pain was not getting any better, only aggravating ever time the medication lost it effect. The doctor than advise him to go to a specialist, so, after a week in pain and into strong painkillers, he went to the orthopedist. There they took an X-ray and we had already made MRI, the doctor there said that he couldn't do anything but the only solution would be my husband take a steroid spinal injection (epidural). Immediately he called a colleague which he told us to be the best and most experienced he knew. Well, when someone you love is feeling pain you and the person agree to do anything... we went to the clinic, another specialist with bunch of good reviews... ok, we wait for hours until finally they call him in. I got to tell you, this method is no fun, my husband got out of there worst than he arrived. The procedure were extremely painful and the pain aggravated even more, he was after that day in bed for a week, taking more painkillers because of the procedure followed for anti-inflammatory. He was not able to work for 15 days, not even walk. When we went back for the return, they charged us again only to hear that he would might need one more shot! As we decided that he didn't want to take another, we felt ridiculously misunderstood. They only offer injections but not even a slightly information about his injure, what is the best treatment.. nothing but given shots... It was in this setting that my husband found an add online from active life. The laser treatment that could help him feel less pain. It has been a month, and he has improved a lot, from that 100%pain state, he is now getting better. Since the begging of the laser treatment, after 3 sessions he was able to start having pilates sessions with physical therapy, (which I consider the treatment best friend), the second week with the treatment he was able to work with less pain, and than the third he was driving normally again. Today is his last session in our pack, but is not the end line for him. We totally recognize that his injury is more than just a sprain. So in order to heal 100% he will need more than the average number of sessions. However, he is willing to do it, you know why? Because here in this place we got to know people that are seriously engaged in healing people, the staff here are made of real careful people. The environment is relaxing and even I have decided to get a fixing myself. Dr. Robert and Dr. Michel are really taking special care of Lincoln,( my husband) and me. I met many other people while waiting him at the clinic, and every case we see that people are happy and coming back because everyone here care about their injuries. I am glad we were blessed with their care. I only have to thanks the whole team and the doctors, and continue with his treatment until he is 100%. Hey, I am usually very true to my reviews, so you can trust and if you need any of the treatment that they offer, be sure you will be very satisfied!

It's very clean, comfortable and smells nice. The front desk staff were friendly and Dr. Mike was a pleasure to deal with. If you're looking for a great Chiropractor experience and maybe interested in laser therapy, I recommend this place.
