The inside has been renovated pretty recently, and it is a small and quaint shop. The staff is always nice, and everything is priced at an affordable level. I usually come here for lunch. When you order a sandwich, you also get chips, as well. I also like to try their soup of the days, and my favorite is the cream of broccoli. Their cookies are my favorite thing they have to offer. I believe it is their specialty. They are really consistent, made fresh, and soft in the inside. I have tried almost every single flavor and each one has been good. I have also tried their cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk) a few times, and personally it is not my favorite. It is very dark even with the condensed milk, and I feel like there is something missing. I have had better cà phê sữa đá and prefer the ones my aunt makes at home more. Overall, Golden Croissant is a cute place to grab a small lunch. I think it is one of my favorite places in this small town and has a lot to offer for a good price. I was able to get a loaded 8 ounce cup with my favorite toppings for about $4 and you can't beat that anywhere else. I also loved the fact that they have sauces such as marshmallow fluff, caramel, and chocolate sauce under a heater so that it easy to pour/squeeze onto your froyo. That is an attention to detail that I haven't seen at other froyo places! Overall, I encourage anyone visiting or from the SETX area to give Farmhouse Frozen Yogurt a try.
