The inside has been renovated pretty recently, and it is a small and quaint shop. The staff is always nice, and everything is priced at an affordable level. I usually come here for lunch. When you order a sandwich, you also get chips, as well. I also like to try their soup of the days, and my favorite is the cream of broccoli. Their cookies are my favorite thing they have to offer. I believe it is their specialty. They are really consistent, made fresh, and soft in the inside. I have tried almost every single flavor and each one has been good. I have also tried their cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk) a few times, and personally it is not my favorite. It is very dark even with the condensed milk, and I feel like there is something missing. I have had better cà phê sữa đá and prefer the ones my aunt makes at home more. Overall, Golden Croissant is a cute place to grab a small lunch. I think it is one of my favorite places in this small town and has a lot to offer for a good price. I definitely recommmed getting a sprinkle cookie or two when coming here!

Great little spot out here…read more I stppped by just passing through town and figured I would check it out. Seems like the coffee, ice cream and pastries are the forefront. Tried a cupcake. Very good. Very simple. Not trying to recreate the wheel of cupcakes with elaborate flavors and decorations. Best part about this place (maybe not this locations) but it's been around since before WW2. If this establishment can be around that long they gotta be doing something right.

On top of not having much of a selection, there were hardly any labels on the desserts. How is this place still open?! The cashier was also very unhelpful and rude. I will never return to this place.

So not a very good grocery store at all for the Port Arthur area. It's expensive and it's missing various things that I would want. For this reason I rarely come to this Market Basket when I'm in town, but they did have a couple things that we needed when we needed them, so we were grateful about that at least.
