Once you start eating it, there's no stopping! You'll eat it until you hurt. That said, don't buy just one. You'll regret it! She married two GREAT treats together like they were meant for each other (kinda like Reeses). Once again, diet BLOWN! The piece is BIG, mine was 4"× 3.5"× almost 1 1/2" inches thick. *Update* Nearly one year ago I visited this store as I annually do when I come in for the holidays…read moreand it needed much attention.. but oh how they have changed in a year! I was in recently on my annual trip and needed to stock up on all great Cajun products and meats.. and low and behold.. the revamp of the store was completed. The store front has a new modern face lift that will be bound to survive the next seasons hurricanes. The parking lot lights and area are well lit and open. The overall front area of the store has a great inviting presence. As you enter the store, they have changed the lighting and the walking flow so that you can easily get what you need without clutter and they used clearly posted signs and markings for specials. As to the classic memory of the store, they have kept all of the check out stations just as you have always known them. The baskets as well and the Managers station is still elevated and visible by everyone.. so you know where to find them if you need to. The meat counter area is brightly lit and always providing fresh choice cuts. Overall, the service has improved as well. I simply walked down any aisle and I was always greeted and directed to where I needed to find something. Sometimes, the best stores have the best employees.. and this is a family heritage that covers every generation. Bruce's is a neighborhood staple. It has survived and updated with the times. I am pleased that they finally were able to complete the renovations and stay off the weather of time and be around for future generations.

We were very happy with this place we have tried the one in Beaumont a few times but quit going…read morebecause my wife had to eat gluten free and they only had one flavor chocolate chip and it was never fresh like the others cakes were or they over baked it every time which I don't think that's what it was I think that they didn't sale many and they would make some and just let them set way to long not like the way they treated the regular cakes I understand you don't want many losses but if you keep them to long and their stale you will never sale any that's why we quit going so I hope this place doesn't do that to the gluten free cakes they had a gluten free lemon cake that was fresh and very delicious we have high hopes for this place but if they treat the gluten free cake like they did in Beaumont we will have to stop going these cakes aren't cheap so by expectations are high also so please keep up the good work
