The inside has been renovated pretty recently, and it is a small and quaint shop. The staff is always nice, and everything is priced at an affordable level. I usually come here for lunch. When you order a sandwich, you also get chips, as well. I also like to try their soup of the days, and my favorite is the cream of broccoli. Their cookies are my favorite thing they have to offer. I believe it is their specialty. They are really consistent, made fresh, and soft in the inside. I have tried almost every single flavor and each one has been good. I have also tried their cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk) a few times, and personally it is not my favorite. It is very dark even with the condensed milk, and I feel like there is something missing. I have had better cà phê sữa đá and prefer the ones my aunt makes at home more. Overall, Golden Croissant is a cute place to grab a small lunch. I think it is one of my favorite places in this small town and has a lot to offer for a good price. I definitely recommmed getting a sprinkle cookie or two when coming here!

No one spoke to us being a black couple, the y looked as us like why are you here. I go to the deli counter they see me standing there and they never came to see what I wanted. We found the cough drops on our own. No help We put them on the counter they waited until we moved our hands. To be so young and prejudice is sad. We won't ever go to that store again.

So not a very good grocery store at all for the Port Arthur area. It's expensive and it's missing various things that I would want.
