In a rush to complete it, the staff quickly put the strawberry donuts together, causing icing to run everywhere in the boxes. By the time I arrived to my destination, the icing had melted because they did not have the chance to set, and the donuts no longer looked pink, which defeated the purpose of having them for a themed event. What made the experience worse was the lack of customer service. There was no apology, just a comment that I'd "only have to wait a few minutes," as if it wasn't a big deal. For a pre-order placed more than a day in advance, that response was disappointing and unprofessional. I expected better care and attention, especially since these donuts were meant to help bring awareness to an important cause.
