For me I wouldn't donate a dime to these guys, but many still living in the 90's and haven't moved on yet well this is a cash cow for the band... Folks listen to what ya want ! Frank B is out !

Ok, I am a die-hard Pearl Jam fan. To be fair, I must admit that there are few things that spark…read morepassion within me like that band does. Laugh if you will, but it's true and I don't give a shit how dorky it is. I even have the obligatory tattoo to pay homage to my rock gods of choice. I signed up for their fan club (which has gone by a few names, but the tried and true is Ten Club) in 1996... this is after begging my mother to let me sign up for 4 years prior. 1996 is the year I opened my own checking account and no longer had to ask her permission for such things. Anyhow, the good folks who run it have been pretty good to me and my kin over the years. They have gotten me good seats to shows. They have sent me cherished Christmas singles, newsletters and given access to nerdy memorabilia I would have otherwise not had access to. I have counted on this club every tour and with their extreme kindness and usually awesome service, avoided Ticketmonster more often than not and seen 40+ shows, made more friends than I can count, had great adventures and spent more money than I care to admit in the process. We all count on them to maintain this high level of service and understanding of our addiction. They are prided for showing lots of respect for the fans and going above and beyond to nurse our PJ habits. Up until about a month ago, I wouldn't have said a single bad word about the club - they would have gotten a shining 5 stars and then some.... but then came Ed's April Fool's Tour, which was announced (and seemingly thrown together) in a last-minute sort of fashion. I won't get too negative here, because at the end of the day I still appreciate and love the club -- but I will give a quick overview of the disappointment that went down: the tour was announced, tickets went on sale days later (all at the same time and only online), servers could not handle traffic, fuckups ensued -- cards charged for tix that didn't exist, people locked out, emails ignored, mass hysteria, no statement from club -- sadness. The first tour in the 13 years I've been seeing their shows (and solo/side shows) where I had no access to tickets without going through scalpers. Total and complete disappointment. So for the poor planning and aftermath of that bit of lameness, I have to knock off a star. Maybe we're just spoiled, but nevertheless it bummed tons of faithful fans out. It's a snafu that can't be ignored. So four stars it is. All that aside, any self-respecting PJ nerd knows membership is mandatory... so get on it, if you haven't.

I was referred by a friend/Colleague of mine in the music business and was very impressed by Mike! I have always felt confident that he would repair my horns, and was pleasantly surprised when he went above and beyond. I brought in my trombone for cleaning& slide alignment and he replaced a rubber bumper and water key cork because it needed it-no charge. He did the same with my trumpet! He always explains in great detail what work he performed, will call you before performing repairs that you didn't discuss with him if he feels it's necessary and he is very courteous and kind! He has close to 35 years of experience as well as has played trumpet professionally himself, so it's always fun to talk shop with him! I have taken my own trumpets & trombones to him and have sent many of my students to him because I trust him and his work is impeccable. I have bought used gear from him and one of my students parents told me that he helped them with an old trumpet that I thought may just need cleaning, but it needed much more& the work needed was more than the horn was worth and had nothing to sell to them which helped them confirm he wasn't trying to just be a salesman and make a buck! He is helpful, honest and knowledgeable, which is all I ever ask for! His prices are also very competitive with other repair shops, and I think his prices are better especially with the service you receive because he doesn't cut corners. Support this Local business! The Gold Standard in Customer Service…read more This is a phrase I rarely use. I reserve it for the precious few businesses that place my needs and interest first in the way they work with me. Both times I bought digital pianos from Prosser, they responded to all my concerns and then delivered and set up my new pianos for free. The first piano I bought still works perfectly after 5 years and I play my weekly piano lessons on it in my piano teacher's studio. The 2nd piano had a malfunction after 2+ years, 1 key stopped working. Kawai, the mfr., made mistakes in processing the replacement parts order, causing unnecessary delay. Then, they sent new parts causing the problem to escalate...now 2 keys don't work. The repairman is a cracker jack with 30 years' experience in his niche, so we know it's bad parts, nothing else. No one ever expected this from a mfr. that has been top rated for years. Prosser could have left me on my own to deal with the issue, and other dealers would have, but Prosser stood by me fully. They gathered the facts and pressed Kawai to special handle my case. They also gave me a loaner piano so I don't lose practice time due to all the delays in getting my piano back to working correctly. They got Kawai to commit to call me to apologize, which as of this writing has not yet happened. Prosser will be my supplier for life. When I called their General Manager to thank him, he explained in simple words their operating philosophy. They are not going to let a customer have a bad experience, period. I, for my part, can never trust Kawai again. I'm not even sure that when my piano is back to me working, that it won't have some other problem in the near future. So when I need my next piano, I'm back to Roland, purchased from Prosser. Both pianos are engineered brilliantly. But my Roland piano never broke down!!! Are you new to buying a piano? Prosser will work with you to make it a pleasure. Not to worry, go ahead with it when you're ready.
