Good Hotel situated inDowntown Neenah where points of Interests are accessible and walkable , but then again downtown Neenah is small. Best part of this hotel is the waterway park is just less than block away where you can the walk/ run through the trails and enjoy the lakeside view. Hotel is very decent, staff are friendly and rooms are clean. Hotel has small gym and indoor pool so you won't miss your exercise routine.

Very accommodating with check-in and -out times. Rooms/lobby/gym everything NEW and CLEAN! Will be staying here short term for contract employment in Neenah. Sales [Diane/Diana] representative and GM amazing!

Business traveler's beware. As a lifetime Diamond member, I can say this is the worst Hilton proprietary I have ever stayed at. Great location, unfortunately poorly managed. This is what the hotel management of the DoubleTree in Neenah considers clean. I have complained repeatedly, no action. If you request housekeeping, be prepared to chase repeatedly and even then your room may not get cleaned. No breakfast buffet during the weeks anymore, so business travelers beware, you will spend a lot of time waiting. Shout out to Debbie, Esmeralda, and the front desk people for being friendly, unfortunately they cannot do much given the poor management.

I thought maybe staying at a high class Hotel chain like Hilton would be great ; After dealing with Rachel the night manager my thoughts of high-class Hilton are out the door. When I had a question I called the front desk to inform them that the parking lot was filling up with non Hotel guests taking valuable parking spaces in a downtown setting. At 6 pm I wanted to leave and go to dinner after seeing the hotel parking lot full last night at 9 pm with paid guests, I knew I was not going to get a parking spot later that evening after I returned I thought that those spots are reserved for paying hotel guests. As for me paying a high dollar for a Hilton room I was way wrong. I had called the front desk to inquire about my observation the phone was given to the night manager on duty name Rachel .She informed me that I could park elsewhere and I was disconnected I wanted to ask another question but she pretty much hung the phone up like I was disturbing her dinner( " I think you know what I mean") with that said I already emailed corporate office of Hilton a Christopher Nassetta and told that person my story whatever you do take my advice do not I repeat do not stay at this Hilton

This Double Tree was recently refurbished and it feels like a new Hotel. Everything in my room was nice. The queen bed was comfortable, they had soft and firmer pillows and the bathroom used Crabtree and Evelyn products. The staff was very friendly and I was very happy they had a filtered water dispenser in the lobby. My favorite part is it's walking distance to some good places to eat and Lions Tail Brewing; which is awesome. It's an easy hotel to recommend if your in the area.

Valley Inn Motel - Worst place ever the rooms are trashed and the property is trashed and the management is trash

Where do I begin? "Shabby" is a vast overstatement for this hotel. With concrete walls, minimal…read morefurnishings and filthy interiors, a jail cell would be more accommodating than these rooms. The door lock didn't work, and when I asked about it I was told that "most guests just use the chain". The blinds didn't close, anyone walking by could see me in there and push the door. No safety whatsoever. The bed was tiny, lumpy, and covered in stains that looked like blood and urine. No thought was put into furnishing - there's a dresser with a fridge on top, a microwave on top of that, like some dangerous game of Jenga. I was worried they'd topple over at any min. The hotel promises to charge you for EVERYTHING - there were three pages of things you have to initial - lose a towel? Charged! Get locked out? Charged! THEY MAKE YOU CLEAN YOUR OWN ROOM, OR YOU GET CHARGED. All this at check in, before even seeing the room. THEY ACTUALLY MAKE YOU SIGN A WAVER SAYING YOU WILL NOT CALL THE POLICE WHILE YOU'RE STAYING THERE! NO WIFI! They advertise free WiFi, but the truth is there is no internet connection in the room. They have a chair in the lobby where you can sit and connect "if you must" but you are not encouraged to be there long. The lobby is small, dirty, and has tons of workers just hanging out doing nothing. So if you want privacy and the internet at the same time you're outta luck. Feel free to check your bank statements in front of the entire crew. Sadly, that wasn't even the worst part. Debbie, the "lady" (term used remarkably loosely) that ran the front desk, is quite possibly the worst human being I've ever met. After seeing the terrifying condition of the rooms and realizing that there was no net connection, I came to the office to ask about it. Debbie decided I needed to use the WiFi on my phone (because paying for the hotel wasn't enough - now I should open my pocket to burn through my data plan because their "free wifi" is a lie.) Without asking, she SNATCHED my phone from me and helped herself to my device - she went through my folders, opened apps until she found my WiFi settings. After asking for my phone back and being told "No, I'm fixing it", I tried to explain to her that I did not have a HotSpot connection on my phone. "ALL phones have them" she barked at me. "Yes, it has the capabilities for it. But I do not pay for the plan, as I am used to using the Free WiFi that comes with hotel rooms when I am away from my home". This terrible woman yelled at me, telling me that I was wrong, she was fixing it, and she outright refused to return my phone to me until she was done playing with it. I could easily see that this woman was coming unraveled - she was hostile, so rude, and frankly I was afraid of her. I told her very meekly, so as not to upset her any further (because as we all know, it's a guests job to pacify emotionally unbalanced staff), I told her "if you don't have WiFi in the rooms, I cannot stay here." She screeched at me "IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE RUDE TO ME, I'M NOT GOING TO HELP YOU!!" Then she threw my phone at me (it bounced off my chest, I had to pick it up off the flea-infested floor) and waddled out of the room toward the office as fast as she could, saying over her shoulder "And I'm going to tell Maria in the office that you were rude to me, too!!! She won't help you either!!". It was like watching a child throw a temper tantrum, but this wasn't a child - this was an elderly lady who the establishment entrusted to treat guests with care. At the office she spoke to Maria in front of everyone in a playground bully manner - "She was rude to me! She doesn't deserve any help!!" she tattled. She was so awful, and I was so travel weary, that I just began to cry. As I sat in the lobby bawling and begging for my payment back, Debbie pointed and poked, saying horrible things and treating me like dirt. When I FINALLY got a refund and packed my room to leave, they sent a tattooed, intimidating, greasy guard with an attack dog to loom over me while I exited. I was treated like garbage here and the rooms were disgusting. Don't do this to yourself!! Go ANYWHERE but here. SUPER FUN UPDATE: After leaving this review, Maria, the owner at the motel actually called my cell and threatened me. I wish I could post the message here - she told me that I was a liar, and that if she wanted to she could reply to the review and "expose some very personal information about me". Then she went on to post this reply on the Google review page: Total lie that your saying samantha we did not treat you bad at all and i wish You could tell the truth about what you said and did at valley inn we try hard to help our guest and its hard to keep everyone happy What kind of business owner does that?? ZERO professionalism. ZERO class. Just a sleazy little dump run by remarkable classless individuals. If I live a thousand years I bet I'll never meet such trashy people in such a dirty, unsafe environment.
