Great location. Very nice staff greeted us with a warm cookie. Updated and very clean. Comfortable bed too. Great restaurant with full bar service

On my recent trek across the country, TN had gotten very, very long and very, very boring...not to mention very, very full of storms. After about 11 hours of driving, I decided to stop in Jackson for the night. Being a Hilton HHonors member, I tend to see what they have around first. DoubleTree is one of my favorites of their brands, so YAY for being right off I-40. It was a bit hard to find, but maybe that was due to the dark and rainstorm. I didn't have a reservation, but that was no problem -- they took the price which was listed on Travelocity. I got a nice room on the bottom floor -- big bathroom, huge flat screen TV, and fabulously comfortable king bed. They have a breakfast buffet around $10, which is a reasonable price for Hilton brands. There's no fee for parking here.

Room is fair.... clean... typical room ... not Hilton standards by any means. The inside pool is connected to the outside pool so when there is an overcast, both pools are closed. We had to occupy our 5 year old with elevator rides until we convinced staff that it was safe to open the pool. The pool was a little dirty and cloudy, maybe from the rain/ storm?? Our little guy didn't seem to mind... he enjoyed swimming until the pool closed at 10! Beds slept great!

This place is disgusting. I really don't feel like rating it and I can't believe it is part of the Hilton brand. $200 and a Red Roof would have been superior. Do not be duped by these pigs.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short distance from the interstate and has tons of convenient parking. Staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful and the hotel has a tasteful decor and a somewhat upscale ambiance that is noteworthy. Rooms are clean and crisp, with excellent amenities and our room boasted a truly exemplary shower; easy step-in and roomy, with excellent water pressure and temperature control. Beds are extremely comfortable. The complimentary hot breakfast is very good; with all the favorites. We often stay at Comfort Suites Hotels around the country and the Jackson I-40 location is an excellent representative of the chain.

Upon pulling into the lot we noticed plenty of parking for guests and well-lit. Additionally, we were thankfully the receptionist was friendly and got us checked into our room with no problems. The reception area has iced water with lemons in it and a pool/gym down the hall. Neither of which we used during our stay, so I cannot speak to those amenities. First impression was our room smelled fresh/clean!! Upon pulling out the couch to make a bed for my kiddo, I noticed it had crumbs in the bottom and the cushion needed to be washed (stains on them). Also, the shower needed to be bleached and scrubbed as well as floors, I'm a housecleaner so I notice things like that. I am very grateful there were clean linens in the room and didn't notice any bugs on the bedding though. I will add the AC was perfect and the bed was true to its name (comfortable). For breakfast, there were hot biscuits & gravy, eggs, potatoes hash and then cold breakfast items as well as fresh coffee! I overheard the ice machines on the second and third floor were out of order because an older gentleman was trying to get some for his cup and couldn't find any. All things considered, I would stay here again. Safe, friendly staff, and comfortable!

We have been to numerous Holiday Inns Express by Hilton all across this country and enjoyed them…read more But this one feels NOTHING like the ones we have stayed at. From the front desk trying to sell a room for MORE than it is listed, to the nasty stuff in the window a/c vent. And let's not forget the large colony of mold in the bathroom shower that only had two washcloths for their complement of towel offerings. Want to use the sofa bed for your child to sleep on? Prepare to find a candy wrapper folded in it and no sheets anywhere in the room to be found. Now, call and ask the front desk for sheets, only to be told to come down and get them because she was the only one working. Yeah. From the quality of the cleaning to the "Come n get it" attitude, you can see why I was wondering if this was actually an outdated Motel 6 cosplaying as a Holiday Inn Express by Hilton that we were accustomed to. Disappointed and disgusted to be paying $160 for 1 night in this mold farm. You are welcome to experience the 90s era speed internet yourself and write a review from room 300. Holiday Inn Express by Hilton has disappointed us with this location. I half expect the wind to blow the Holiday Inn Express by Hilton sign off revealing a Motel 6. Update: 3/29/2025 7:00pm 3rd floor: A gaggle of loud kids are running around on the 3rd floor and up the down the stairway. Called the front desk, was told she was busy with a line of people, understandable, and would deal with it later. 11 pm later and they were still running around talking loudly. I suspect it was a baseball team of little league. ONE person works at this Holiday Inn Express in Jackson, TN in the evening? We were disgusted with our room and I called front desk immediately. Mold in bathrooms and showers, cracked tile everywhere. Took lots of pics and showed them. They moved us to another one and it was equally as bad. The hotel is filthy. Trash even in elevators. Carpet everywhere is filthy and stained. We ended up leaving and moving to another hotel. The last straw was pulling back sheets on the second room they gave us and saw a bed of crumbs!!! Just NO. Corporate needs to see this place as we've stayed at Holiday Inns for over 30 years. This was so bad we will not be staying at another one ever.
