Double tree by Hilton is upstairs of Casino Jacks. Tru and Springhill suites are here also. We are Hilton gold so we're upgraded to Hughes he suite. Very nice room with wet bar, large couch and king bed. The staff were very pleasant. The casino was neat and offered many perks and incentives to eat and play in casino. They have several restaurants, bars, and coffee shop. While staying here, you can use the pool at Springhill suites which was awesome. Seeing it was a holiday Monday and most everything in town was closed, we were very happy the casino had things open! Would definitely recommend! read more

If you like sterile hotels with lots of stark white and blacked out doors in the lobby this is the place for you. On the afternoon we arrived there was no parking on the main level. We headed for the underground parking but then was lucky because there was one spot left for diamond members. There was only one person at the check in desk and we had to wait. I feel that they should have had another person for the Hilton honors desk as in other hotels. The other thing is they charge for parking even for diamond members and justify this by 'giving' you $15 in casino credits. For those who don't gamble - like us - it's not a perk. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom preferred as it's a shower style. The view was nice as we could see trees, the mountain and the sky. The downside for me was the 'spotlight' above the shower. Due to an accident I still am unable to stand bright lights and I feel this light didn't have to be right on top of the person in the shower. A little bit to the middle of the shower would work just as well. The breakfast provided was either a continental style or a discount off a menu item or the breakfast buffet. There is a shuttle that comes close to the hotel you can take to Main Street Deadwood. Not sure I would stay here again but it's an average hotel. read more

The rooms were surprisingly nice. I didn't get to spend much time gambling. I wanted to play poker but was too tired when we rolled in, and the poker room was empty in the morning. What bumps it up from three to four stars is the service. The bartender was really nice, but our breakfast server was outstanding - five stars for her. She was super sweet and after being an amazing server throughout breakfast, she spent some extra time with us planning our travels for that day! Breakfast buffet itself? I'd recommend ordering off the menu instead. read more

When we checked in our room was filthy. We had two queen beds, I slept in one, my husband in the other. I noticed the white bed linens had yellow stains all over them, the bathroom floor was coated in long dark hairs, as was the bath tub. There was also a brownish red stain in the tub that looked like old dried blood. Needless to say we were terrified to shower in there, not knowing what had previously transpired in the bath tub to leave that sort of stain.. My parents traveled with us, and stayed in the room next door. Their room reeked like dead fish and dirty Butt hole. My Mom found yellow pee stains all over the wash cloth AFTER she had wiped her face with it! We complained to management several times, were promised someone would be up immediately to clean and sanitize the rooms, no one ever showed up to do so.....? At check out my husband complained yet again, and questioned management, we were essentially blown off. Over a week passed, and with dozens of phone calls later, management finally offered us a refund, but it was like pulling teeth to get them to understand our concerns. There is NO EXCUSE for such laziness when it comes to keeping a hotel room sanitary for guests, this is actually dangerous to people's health! I urge you not to stay here, but if you do, and you encounter the same problems please, contact the department of health. This is was a horrible experience, and I would hate for anyone else to deal with it. read more

Very small casino but still fun and intimate. My friends I was with did very well in the winnings department. Machines were modern and overall casino clean. Complimentary drinks adds to the casino spirit and was much appreciated as comped cocktails aren't very common outside of Vegas so this was a special treat to come across when I hit the casino floor. I didn't stay at the Casino Jacks side of the hotel I stayed on the Springhill suites side which was a fantastic room and the hot tub is fabulous! My friends stayed on the Cadillac Jacks side and loved it. read more

Our room was so spacious, the beds super comfortable! Lots of places to open up our suitcases, but the room was so dark. It was hard to even see what was in my suitcase. We ate at the pizza & sandwich shop. Both good. However, I felt we were in a dog hotel. Dogs, huge & small, were everywhere. If you have any allergies, you must avoid this hotel. I do not have allergies but large dogs are too much for me. One huge pit bull mix even had a strap around his mouth. Of course, he was on a lease, but I felt very unsafe. A huge problem for me was the smell of the main floor where the restaurants & casino were. It smelled like cheap perfume that had been used all day. It was nauseating for me. Surely, that could be addressed. read more

Very disappointed, our check in time was 3pm, we were told at the front desk, it would be later. My BF, decided to speak with the front desk Person we finally got a room after 3pm. The bathroom was disgusting someone must have had stomach issues, the toilet made me want throw up, there was garbage left from the other people who had this room. I believe that the room was never cleaned. The building had 3 hotels and it made it very confusing as to what elevator to use to get to your hotel. And to top it off the casino is part of this big building. I will never come here again read more

Deadwood, SD. What to say about this cute little town. I was there for a wedding and stayed here for the weekend. When you walk in the lights of the games get you!! The reception desk is very friendly. I was checked in by Brad who was very nice and explained a lot about the area. Arrived a bit late. Be warned, there is not 24 hour food in this location. If it is past midnight you are out of luck. You will not find any pizza joints or gas stations that are open. There is a little store by check in desk - you can find a bag of chips. The floor of the casino is busy. Always nice to see. When you make your way to your room you step off the elevator into a rather dark hallway. They do need more light. Find your room and you step in, it's a little dates but very clean and comfortable. Look around because you will find a few drink coupons and deals. The restaurant is not a bad deal. The most expensive is the breakfast, $15.99 per person. The buffet is ok but there isn't anything that is really unique. For lunch have a pizza, it's very good! The area around the hotel is beautiful!! For sure worth a quick trip if you want a small town feel! read more

We had come through Deadwood on our way to see Chief Crazy Horse and Mt Rushmore. We originally decided to stay in Sturgis until we checked Hotels.com and found a reasonable rate at Cadillac Jack's in Deadwood. When we arrived in our room we was pleasantly suprised at the amennities and the condition of the room. If anyone is traveling through that area, I recommend Cadillac Jack"s. Side Note: They have some construction going on right now, but that didn't intefrfere with any of our activities. read more

Wish I could give 3.5 stars, but my only complaint was taken care of promptly. Very nice, BIG rooms with comfy beds. The rooms were clean, so I'm not sure what prior posters were complaining about. AND we roomed here a day after Sturgis ended, so if the rooms were to be filthy, I'd think this would be when. Haha. My only concern or word of caution is beware the resort fee or "experience" fee. We walked in off the street (no reservation) after an exhausting day of hiking the black hills, driving needles highway and wild life loop, visiting Rushmore, and stopping at the wineries/breweries in Hill City. Needless to say, we did not want to drive to Sundance at 10:00pm to camp, so we found this gem. The front desk attendant did NOT tell us of the $13 fee, and the next morning they comped us the fee pretty swiftly, which was nice. If you don't want to pay the fee, you have to ask them up front and can't use the pool, and need to park in a city lot. Other than that, slept like a rock, checkout is at noon, which is very nice. Good, accommodating staff! read more

Hotel and casino under renovations by Hilton Inc. Hope they don't ruin the old west ambiance of the casino. It justs exudes warm and friendliness. The bar and poker rooms are relaxed and comfortable. While on a roadtrip in May of this year, we found this hotel which was much cheaper than those in the rest of the town. On the edge of a historic town, the price and quality seriously can't be beat! Will price match competitive booking websites if you walk in. The room had the most comfortable beds which was welcomed after a long drive in, though the bedroom window didn't have much to look out to. I opened the curtain to find mountainside rock just 5-10 feet from it! HA! Restaurant was fine. Casino is small but is smoke free. I imagined the card players that used to frequent the city. Some of the card players that night really did look like what I imagined to be too. So much to see in the area that we missed but make sure to check out Wild Bill's grave site! read more

Three stars is to rate the hotel accomodation itself. The room was spacious and decent. Free wireless and air conditioning was really nice. A four star is deserved for their staff. Everyone was really helpful and friendly, especially Amy. I love their slots too! read more

We liked this place. The bed was really comfortable and the room was nice and clean. Large flat screen television and a full-sized couch. My only complaints were that we stayed on the front side of the building and the neon lights made it like daylight all night long. There were only blinds and no curtains to close out the light. If you stay here ask for the back side of the hotel. Also, get something on the third floor or higher. We were on the second floor and you could hear every word they were saying over the microphone down in the casino. read more

Stayed in deadwood on a long road trip, Cadillac jacks was the cheapest hotel online and it ended up being extremely nice. It was very clean with a friendly staff and the food in the restaurant was very good. It also has a nice bar with a wide assortment of table games and slot machines. There were other nice touches like free valet parking and a free shuttle bus to other parts of deadwood, will definitely stay here again if we pass through. read more

Great hotel rooms. The beds were so comfortable, I got the best night sleep of my life. The restaurant has average hamburgers that I charged to the room. It's situated just outside of Deadwood, so you have to drive to all the attractions. The downside of this place are the fees charged to the room. They add a resort/casino fee and parking fee. The casino I'm sure makes enough money to begin with, and parking is so scarce, I parked next door. read more

This is a review of the Springhill Suites hotel connected to the property. I could not find a Yelp page for it. I have stayed at most of the hotels in Deadwood. Springhill is new and its rate was competitive so I gave it a try. The base room would be considered a junior suite at many hotels. It has a separate seating area and desk on the other side of a wall from the bed. The bathroom is oversized compared to most Deadwood hotel rooms as well. The staff was great. It is not on Main Street. It is a 5 minute walk but if the weather is bad a $6 cab ride or the trolley might be better options. There is a $12.95 parking fee for covered, heated parking. It is disclosed on the reservation website. I received a $15 free slot play at the casino, a free app coupon at the restaurant and several vouchers for drinks. If rates are competitive, like they were for my off season trip, this is a great Deadwood hotel choice. read more

We dug this place about 5 years ago, but it seems to have gone downhill. Even though the rooms this time of year are reasonable ($49), I was charged approximately $20 in taxes and fees, and some BS $12.95 experience fee. They give you a $15 allotment to gamble your bread away. Our room has sheets that looked like someone pissed the bed, and there was hair strewn across the bathroom floor. I asked someone to pay attention to this, and while the sheets were changed, the bathroom wasn't touched, so I am still currently standing in foul hair. They have the audacity to place little cards saying how much attention they paid to the room, and how particular their manager is, so I've got to go down their now, and bitch-slap any ponce wearing a tie. But it is better than Costner's joke of a joint. read more

Not a bad casino. Avoid the single deck blackjack game though, a natural only pays 6:5. Only complaint I have about this place is there were so many people playing machines in groups that were taking up seats designated for machines, which led to several people just waiting for their favorite slot game. read more

Lots of hidden charges in the room rates, beware! If they say $119 they really mean $146. Breakfast at the Brown Rock Sports Bar is awful, greasy omelets and fruit that tastes like vinegar; pancakes were barely passable. read more

Just left here a few days ago & had a great time... here & the town of Deadwood. The staff is very friendly & extremely helpful. The girl that checked us in (Alicia?... worked the night of Wednesday 7/25) was one of the genuinely friendliest people I've met on the road (been on the road from San Diego since 7/17). She explained everything we needed to know & wasn't annoyed or anything when I asked her the same question. We arrived somewhat later at night & she gave us a quick run down of the town... what to see, where to eat, etc. We were a little late hitting the town & asked her for a dinner recommendation. Just about everything closes up at 10pm, so it was already too late, but she turned us on to one place still open late & directed us to the towns tourist trolley to get us there & back (so not driving after a couple drinks... especially in an unfamiliar place that I don't know the back roads of). After hours on the road & only eating breakfast on our way out of town to come here, we were very grateful. What we were MOST happy with customer service wise is we needed to have our windshield replaced while on the road. We tried to get it done in Denver (not really a fun place to visit... Deadwood & the surrounding areas here are so much more fun & interesting), but everyone we called, including the VW dealer, wanted anywhere from $500-$850 for the cracked windshield. Safelite in Rapid City was able to do it for $500 out the door, so we set it up for when we'd be at Cadillac Jack's... not sure what we should do when they arrived since they need a 6 foot clearance all the way around. We figured we may have to drive it to a big parking lot somewhere for them to do the work, but the valet said we could do the work in their underground valet area... WAAAY COOL! The only negatives were (1) the elevators... one didn't work the entire time we were there & the other one didn't work twice, plus they were sloooow; & (2) they only have one restaurant of their own and it closes at 10 as well. read more

I doubt the 5 star reviews are real. I come here to play card games. During to weekends the tables are crowded and you will lucky to find a seat. If you come on the weekdays looking to get some playing time the tables are closed. Don't waste your breath asking for a table to be opened. Save your breath for the walk up to the casino on th hill. That casino always has tables open. The Lodge is much better and I give it 5 stars. read more

It's a very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. The rooms are beautiful. However, there is a great deal of renovation taking place, very few options for dining, and parking, while free, is a nightmare. Luckily, you can valet your vehicle at no charge, but it would be much easier to have ample parking out front. In terms of the room, my only one complaint is that the pillows are miserably flat/cheap which kept me up the entire night tossing and turning, but otherwise very comfortable. The indoor hot tub and pool are mediocre at best. Neither is very large, the hot tub didn't get very hot, and the Jets didn't work properly. It's also a bit of a hike from the main part of the hotel, but otherwise ok. read more

A hotel/casino in South Dakota! I had to see how this would compare with their counterparts across the country. First the parking, the parking lot was very small and had a sign saying if the lot was full to park in another lot down the street. I guess they had low expectations about visitors or cheaped out on the parking lot. Inside was very small and most of the people were divided into 2 categories. The older people were betting and the younger people were all dressed up nicely, drinking and socializing. The majority of the people were dressed up and more interested in using the place to hangout. All in all this was purely for the locals. This was not built for outsiders beyond the hotel guests. read more

I can only review the casino and sports bar, as my boyfriend and I did not stay in the hotel. The casino has alot of slot machines, but also has some of the newer video-type slots, which I like to play. My boyfriend likes to play roulette, and was happy to see the new addition of roulette and craps tables to the casino floor. The dealers were inexperienced with these new games, but this will be a great place to play in the future. The casino seemed to have a decent amount of promotions going on. I liked the location - kind of away from downtown, so not too crowded. Sports bar was OK. read more

The drink service was very slow but the casino had a good variety of table games and the casino was clean. Overall a good place to gamble!

We went here for dinner and the service was bad at first. After 20 minutes of waiting to even order drinks, I grabbed the rag and cleaner to clean our dirty table. A waitress apologized and cleaned the rest of the table. After this, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. It seemed like they were short on staff but they redeemed themselves quickly. This morning we came back for breakfast and it was the best breakfast we've had in a long time!
