With butternut squash for $1 and acorn squash for $.75 each, I knew I was in my seasonal glory. The owners wife takes prize in her heirloom varieties and has a wall of each pumpkin variety with their unique name and suggested uses. Ranging from $6 for a large cinderella pumpkin to $3 turban, I filled my cart and headed back to Brooklyn to roast, can and preserve these beauties. I would say this is worth the country drive!

If I was pricing things I would have it as follows Adults ages 13 and up $15 Ages 5-12 $8-10 and 3-5 $5 and 3 and under Free. That's just my opinion for the attractions. But as you see in pictures I have sign of pricing from there. And last note we had to put our own wristbands on so we could've just walked in and said we lost them in maze if we wanted to do that but we didn't but that shows how much the people pay attention at the point of entrance. And as for a petting zoo there that's a few ducks and one goat. And no food to feed them as those machines had a post it note on it stating "Out of Order!" So, to say we will be back is more towards the NO unless they were to update things and that's update it a lot.

They have a big outdoor space where you can walk around and do many activities. The corn maze was fun for all us. What I liked the most was petting the animals. My little one has never been close to a goat and at Maylath's he was able to feed one. I would definitely go back next year. In this instance, we were on the hunt for apple cider donuts. We found the donuts (delicious!) and a whole lot more. True to the name, Mt Airy is a working orchard and farm with a very impressive farm store operation. On this fall day, there was a dizzying selection of produce, baked goods, frozen prepared foods (pies and more), gourds, pumpkins, apples, and much more. There are apparently pick your own opportunities as well. Parking is plentiful and Mt Airy is well-staffed with a very friendly team of folks. The farm store is immaculate. Note that Mt Airy is in a very rural area off winding, narrow roads. Pay attention to your GPS and drive carefully. Highly recommend this York County gem.

It is not an all inclusive ticket. But the worst thing (and the main reason for the two star rating) is that the jumbo pumpkin patch was absolutely INFESTED with Jimsonweed, a toxic and very spiky plant! It is not somewhere to take kids, especially toddlers, because they could easily grab the spiked pods and injure themselves. We will not be coming back here and do not recommend this spot at all, especially if you have small children. Hopefully, for their sake, they are able to get rid of the weeds next year.

We enjoy the hayride, pumpkin picking, mazes, etc that they have to offer. The price is great for all that is available to do. Our son loves the kids area. Most recently we came and it unfortunately down poured right after we got off the hayride---the Reynolds were kind enough to give us a raincheck for another time.
