Half rack ribs, grilled asparagus, fries (super yummy) Beans, corn, Mac and cheese and pulled pork, cornbread bowl (HUGE)

Pretty good. Could improve on a few things. I had the pulled pork and cornbread "bowl" and it was HUGE!! Like feed 2+ ppl huge! BF had half rack ribs with asparagus and fries. BOTH meals came with the "salad" bar that also had mac and cheese, bacon wrapped pork, beans, mashed potatoes, gravy and corn, along with a full salad bar AND dessert. Needless to say it was A LOT of food! Mac and cheese was mushy and tasteless, corn was dry, beans were good as was salad. Lots of choices and everything was cold (good thing for salad) Like that the water stays on the table to refill. Service was excellent! Will come back to try other entrees.

Really good BBQ, especially given the dearth of other good dining options in the area. Delicious brisket, ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, cornbread and baked beans. Brisket was thinly sliced and had a nice smoky flavor. The ribs were tasty but a bit dry. Service was friendly and we will happily return. As an aside, Ard's is actually three places in one. There is an outside BBQ area (where we visited), an inside restaurant serving the BBQ and other things like burgers, and a store inside with produce, chocolates, potato chips, baked goods, and other treats to take home.

We have been to dinner at Ard's three times now and the food has been excellent every time. I always get the sweet mint iced tea when I go, it's wonderful. My favorite dish so far has been the fish sticks. The fish is nice and crispy on the outside, but moist on the inside. The coleslaw has a very mild but good flavor-- not too bitey -- and the cabbage was very crispy. If you're a vegetarian, you do have options. One I've tried is the mushroom ravioli and it was very tasty. My husband has had the Montana sandwich and the pulled pork quesadilla. Both were very good and the pulled pork is very moist. The farm bar also has a lot of great options and everything seems to be fresh even at off times. This has become our new favorite restaurant.

I have always liked Ards restaurant!! I can't remember having a bad meal here. Their pulled pork is amazing! I had the Cuban sandwich tonight.....delicious!!! Recently had a cheesesteak which was also super good! Service is great too! Very friendly people! Highly recommend!

Since the last time I visited (almost a year ago) the restaurant has undergone a remodel with menu changes. The casual cookout vibe is gone, replaced by more of an upscale feel (Central PA upscale). Prices have also increased, although I feel so has the selection. I had a Portobello burger which was tasty, along with homemade chips. My lunch buds had the regular beef burger and the French dip sandwich along with fries. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. Service was good and the shop out front carries a range of local products. Shade Mountain Winery is also featured.

They had tons of fun fall activities, an enormous corn maze with fun clues and a bridge, a hay bale climbing tower, a tricycle track, hay rides, bouncy rubber horses for kids to ride on, a giant pool table with soccer balls to be kicked into the corner pockets, and lots more. They also had a lovely market where they had tons of pumpkin varieties, mums of all colors, what seemed like 100 flavors of whoopie pies, cider, and tons more. Awesome day of fun for everyone!

When I heard about RMFM, we took a drive to check it out on this beautiful weekend before Halloween. First off, when we arrived around 1 p.m., it was pretty empty. It picked up when we finally left around 3, but it still wasn't all that crowded compared to most places I've visited before. Second, their Robin Hood Maze and Barnyard Fun Area Activities is a good value in my opinion compared to others. Prices are 3 and under--free, ages 4-12--$7.00, and 13 and up--$9.50. Here's what you get: *Robin Hood Maze with activity book--there are stations throughout the maze to keep it fun and exciting. *Hayride *Trike Track--This might have been the favorite for my boys. The Pedal Karts were close behind but they had less bikes so you had to wait your turn if it was busy. *Pedal Karts *Rubber Ducky Races *Corn Hole *Campfire--not sure what the purpose of this is but it's still cool! Might be nice on a cool day but today was 70° so... *Corn Sandbox *Bouncy thingys--I don't know what they call them but the boys had a lot of fun fooling around. I think what impressed me the most was how unique all of these activities were. Even my 14-year-old son was having so much fun and my youngest son didn't want to leave. Before we left, we did buy a couple of pumpkins and some whoopie pies at the store. They have quite a variety of items. If you're looking for a quieter, less expensive place to take your kids to for the fall next season, then RMFM is it! You can thank me later.

This spot is kids paradise. I planned most of our day here and my kids still didn't want to leave…read more I typically saw this spot whenever I rode the Strasburg Railroad. We typically would do their Christmas Train, and rarely got back to Lancaster in the warmer months. As soon as I planned my latest summer trip, I knew it had to be on the itinerary. This place has it all from gigantic slides to gold mining sluice areas to a mini kids village that mine couldn't get enough of from the mini vet office to the drive in theater. It was really impressive. From here, you can make your way up the hill where there is a restaurant, a coffee kiosk with a delicious coconut water cold brew (wild!), and plenty of shaded sections with swinging chairs. You'll find paintball, basketball, skee ball, a pedal cart for the family, launching devices. I mean, there is a lot! The place is large so it never felt overly crowded. Come with water bottles. Even with the shaded sections it gets hot. They have water fountains by the bathrooms.

We spent hours at the farm, and could have stayed even longer. My kids loved everything from the large corn maze to the swings to the games to the playground equipment to the large sandbox filled with corn. My kids were 4 and 6 during our visit, but the farm can easily accommodate older or younger. Two notes; 1. The bathrooms in the back of the farm are new & super clean. 2. Don't feel pressure to purchase the add ones (apple chucking and paintball) - those sections are towards the back of the farm and easily avoidable. There was a variety of food options - a few standard theme park options along with specialty options like homemade ice cream.
