When we walked in we were immediately greeted by a very nice woman. She let us browse the shop and then asked if we wanted to sample anything. I can't for the life of me enjoy plain oil, so I politely declined. We ended up getting the 6 sample pack and while we were at the check out counter we saw they sell fresh ricotta. So we bought that as well. I haven't had a chance to really try the oil yet, but let me tell you about that ricotta!! We made homemade pizza last night and decided to throw some ricotta on them. It was to die for!! We did get to try the regular balsamic, as our friend had it and put it on the pizza as a drizzle. I will definitely be back to buy more oils or ricotta. We've consumed almost all the ricotta in 24 hours, it's just that tasty!!

I've looked all over the hbg area for spices like juniper berries, harissa, cardamom pods, and more and she always has it. Even better, you can buy only the quantities you need. She has small baggies for only 3 bucks max for all the spices you'd ever need. And if she doesn't have a spice or sauce that you need, she'll remember you and order for you the next week (like my huge bag of rye flour - thank you!!). It's great customer service and I always make sure to browse every Saturday to see what else I can find. She has all types of cooking tools and ingredients to make so many different recipes- it's awesome. She also takes square now so you're not bound by the whole cash only problem!
