The existing bathroom walls were water damaged with chair rail and bead board running halfway up the sides. They walls needed to be primed, plastered and painted after the chair rail and bead board were removed, a piece added to fill the gap where the vanity did not flushly meet the wall and new bullnose tiles installed where the shower/tub met the wall. Also there was a second door from the hallway into the bathroom that I wanted removed. It was sheet rocked inside the bathroom and the hall wall side matched to the elaborate molding that ran along the bottom half. The guys had to build the molding from scratch because it is no longer manufactured..The finished hallway wall looks as though it has always been there,!!! And the bathroom itself, looks roomier, bright and fresh without the chair rail and beadboard. The guys came to work promptly every morning, cleaned up every night before they left, used drop cloths and plastic sheets to protect the rest of the house. They consulted me every step of the way as they built new molding from scratch, planned out how to fill the gap and checking to make sure I was happy with the result- WHICH I WAS. Frank and Justin, the project managers, were extremely responsive to my concerns and the two on site guys were GREAT. I whole heartedly recommend Prestige for any construction project, small or big , you might be considering.

They are talented at what they do, easily troubleshoot unforeseen problems, precise, polite, timely and take pride in their work. My family and I actually missed them when the project was over. Before hiring Stephen, we met with 12 other contractors! Obviously, that's pretty excessive but there was always something about each contractor that just didn't "sit right" with us. Upon meeting Stephen, it was as if all of the pieces fell into place - price, extent of work to be done, time frame and a sense of honesty that we got from him. Stephen walked us through the entire process from demolition to picking out cabinets and countertops to construction and completion. Toward the end of the project, Stephen mentioned that the old door frame between my kitchen and den wouldn't look too nice when seen against a brand new kitchen. He suggested that he rip it out and replace it with a new door frame. Being that the door frame was not mentioned in the contract, my first question was, "How much more will that cost me?" He said, "Nothing. I'm not going to charge extra for that. I just want the job to look as good as possible." Who else does that nowadays? Here are the lowlights of my experience with Matt: --Communication was a nightmare. He responded to me while he was doing the job (a plus!) but he was more interested in complimenting his own work, man-splaining, and cracking corny jokes than he was in listening my concerns. Whenever there was a problem, he blamed someone else. ---Cost was very high. This is my fault , as I should have gotten more estimates. --The work was below average. For example, Matt installed a bifold door. He asked if I wanted it painted and when I asked if it would need to be painted, he said it was up to me. I opted to leave it unpainted but had no idea that Matt would leave pencil marks and scuffs all over it. By that time, I was so tired of interacting with him that I decided to paint it myself. Less than three months later, the door came off the track and the pin that holds it in place will not go back in. I've been trying to get him to come back to fix the door (as per his warranty) for two weeks. Ha! Who am I kidding? I could go on but you get the drift. Save yourself some money and headaches and find someone else.

I put in a request on a Tuesday for a Thursday build and they were able to make it happen!! I was immediately impressed by the quick turnaround and prompt email communication. Margaret informed me that the contractors would arrive between 8:00-9:00am to get it done before 3:00pm. My previous experiences with some contractors led me to believe they would arrive a bit later than anticipated... but lo and behold, at 8:00am sharp they arrived! Arby walked me through my options and we plotted out both rooms and dimensions with his handy dandy tape measure. He answered all my questions, made some great suggestions, and maintained that he would be happy to do whatever I wanted. He and his building partner worked efficiently and communicated with me via text to let me know how much time they needed. We got sliding doors + t-wall construction and couldn't be happier with the result. Though it was a bit more costly than my roommate and I anticipated, the positive experience and the high-quality of the walls (plus the cost of removing the walls is all included as long as you give them 1 month's notice) made me feel happy and at ease. If I ever need temporary walls again, I'll be coming to MPW! My one tip: double check with the building and management regarding their flex walls rules! This wasn't MPW's fault, but my building prohibited floor to ceiling walls, which was a bit disappointing to find out for privacy reasons. Know your building policies!!

The wall held up really nicely the past 3 years and our guests were always so surprised to learn that the wall was a flex wall and not a part of the apartment's original layout. The removal process was also super seamless. We reached out via email 4 weeks in advance and made arrangements for them to knock it down. They're incredibly responsive and on the day of the removal, the team arrived on time and were done about half an hour later. Highly recommend!

He made sure to discuss how much we were inconveniencing him. He hired a young man to do all the work. We called a few weeks after the finished the job about a leak and he sent his son Matthew over to investigate. Matthew left a huge hole in the wall and to avoid working with them ago I just never called them back. I now have to get this bathroom remodeled yet again after paying this company top dollar. He was highly unprofessional.
