And it was truly a hulking mountain of fries! - Avocado toast - One of the best we've ever tried So we loved the food and the service was exceptional. And it was also very affordable - before tipping, we paid $61 for a three-person meal (3 entrées, only water). This is the best dining experience we've had in Mississippi so far. Highly recommended!

The service and food have been steadily declining, and it's starting to feel like they're resting on their morals instead of trying to maintain the quality they used to have. Our most recent visit was the final straw. The pizza arrived cold--not lukewarm, but actually cold. When I brought it to the manager, Spencer, he couldn't have cared less. He was rude, condescending, and talked to me like I was inconveniencing him by asking for basic, hot food. His attitude honestly reminded me of a used-car salesman during Covid--impatient, dismissive, and acting like he's doing me a favor by even acknowledging the issue. Between the cold pizza, the declining experience, and Spencer's disrespectful tone, we won't be back.

I actually spotted it from the bookstore balcony across the street, which made for a great first impression. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations from the menu. Since I was dining solo, I grabbed a seat at the bar, which worked out perfectly. I started with a small Caesar salad. It was definitely on the smaller side, but surprisingly flavorful--especially if you enjoy a strong garlic profile. For my main dish, I built my own pizza: pesto base, mozzarella, Parmesan, pepperoni, red tomatoes, and a hot spicy honey drizzle. The flavor combination was outstanding--really well balanced and memorable. The only drawback was the crust, which was a bit soft and seemed slightly undercooked. The wait time was reasonable, around 15-20 minutes. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot, especially if you're with a group. It does get a bit loud, so it may not be ideal for a quiet date night. I visited on a Friday, and they closed at 8 PM due to a live band, which added to the lively atmosphere. This is a place I'd gladly return to the next time I'm in Oxford.

The chicken sandwich...possibly the worst I've ever had. I don't know if I got a bad piece or what, but it was chewy. Almost like it wasn't cooked all the way through. This place would have gotten at least 4 stars if the food was even halfway decent. But it was not. Only reason it was 2 stars instead of 1 was because of the solid service from the bartender and the neat atmosphere.

Being from the Houston area, we have yet to find pizza there we truly enjoy. We came in a bit after 8, they close at 9, and we were greeted by friendly staff. We ordered a medium Kujo thin crust and had two side house salads with blue cheese and had a couple of draft beers (a Parish Pure Tropics IPA and a Good People West Coast). The salads were crisp and fresh, and if I could have received a gallon of their blue cheese dressing I would have bought it. It was EXCELLENT and I'm a picky blue cheese dressing girl. I'd love to know what brand it was! The pizza was hot, came out quickly and very good. The crust was perfect and the sauce was delicious (not too little, not too much). The beers were ice cold. Lastly, we were there right up to the time they closed and we were not made to fee rushed, at all, and we were asked if we would like another beer or dessert, meaning, stay longer if you'd like! Service was great. Side note: hubby accidentally left his base ball cap there, we were on the road by 5am this morning. I messaged them, they found it and are shipping it to us. Refused me offering to pay or send a label for the cost to ship it. Again, excellent service and kind folks!

It started with asking the hostess if we could sit in the main area and she sat us in the bar section saying there were no booths available yet you could clearly see otherwise. The Death Valley drink, which is a spinoff of a Long Island felt watered down and my husband's Old Fashioned was sub par. For an appetizer we got the Gator bites, which were just ok and the boneless wings which were not good at all. We tried the quesadillas hoping to recover the meal but it unfortunately was not good either. And the Red Beans and Rice...no. Other than the TV's everywhere, it additionally lacked ambiance and vibe. Definitely not returning.

The service here was friendly and professional and I enjoyed the ambiance and atmosphere. It definitely had a cool sports bar type vibe. I ended up going with a burger. Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux bills itself as cajun, but I have never tried any of the cajun offerings. This is more of a chain restaurant and the emphasis is not on kicking out top notch meals, but more of a bar food (or pub grub) type food. I enjoyed my burger. In addition, their waffle fries were good and nicely seasoned. I would definitely recommend a visit here.
