The menu offers several choices that are unique to the area. In addition to standard "Up North" fare like burgers, there are several Asian inspired dishes that are really good. We've been to sushi night and it really is the best sushi up here (not many options - but it's solid). I've been on a Tuesday and had the Kung Pao Chicken special which is great, and last night we came in and I had the Thai Green Curry which was flavored just right. My husband had the walleye and Jody suggested he order it broiled and he raved about it. Service is super friendly - Jody was a delight, and Tracy and Ryan behind the bar are always friendly and make great drinks. Highly recommended.

The chicken gizzards came out first and were perfect! Not too much batter and nice and hot. Tater tots came with my meal as well. I mean come on. Who doesn't love tater-tots? I rarely get them, but they were delectable. The fillets were good size and a dip in tarter sauce and a squeeze of lemon made for some perfect fish. Zabaione takes a trip to the lakes region and cosplays as a roasted marshmallow - falls in love with the local berries and settles down in a house with a view. Make sense? I ordered my usual breakfast. There was a dime laying on the floor under the table next to me. I picked it up and put it on that table thinking it was part of a waitresses tip that was dropped. I got my breakfast and paid and tipped at the till when I left. 2 days later that waitres waited on the table of evening guest that meet every night for supper and friendship. She waited on everybody but me. When I ask her what that was all about, she said I only tipped her a dime and said "that is what I said that that was all she was worth". I never said anything like that. After I paid for my evening meal and she said that, I called her a liar and told her she had better get her facts correct. My service from the waitresses kept getting worse. They would not even give me a cup of coffee when I came in. The manager Angie Boyd should have at least gotten my side of the story and done a conflict resolution at that point. She did not. I started getting my own coffee, silverware, and creamer after that because those few waitresses would not give me any service. I paid $2.00 for those cups of coffee. Which was only 3 or 4 times. They said I was not paying for my coffee at that point. So then I started getting my coffee in the C-store and going and sitting with my friends in the restaurant for our round table conversations. That made Angie Boyd , the manager, mad and she had me served with a no trespassing order. So if you go there beware. You don't know what to expect.
