Just had a nightmare experience with AAA where I've been a member with premier RV Plus for 33 years…read more- and never needed them. Blew an idler pulley bearing at midnight 44 miles west of Van Horn. AAA left us stranded roadside for 6 hours. Finally I'd had enough. Rapid was the second listing. They answered immediately, said they took AAA but had not been contacted by them. They were there within an hour and had my truck on a roll back and my camper hooked up to the same rig AND us at a shop in another hour. The idler pulley wasn't available even at NAPA. Their guy took it off HIS truck and got us rolling. I can not say enough about Rapid and their suggested mechanic. This is what America is about and I couldn't be prouder of fellow citizens. I'm recommending them to AAA, and will also send info to Good Sam.

Roadside for Progressive Ins towed me to A and A. . Props to A and A specifically Carlos and Bill, for their fast location and installation of the new gasket. Back on the road in six hours. They simply poured some water into the radiator and charged me $100. What's even more outrageous is that they blocked me from leaving and forced me to pay. The whole experience was extremely unprofessional and felt threatening. I strongly do not recommend this place. Everyone should be very careful.

Had a truck break down in Van Horn and called Antonio to see if he could find out what was going…read moreon. He went to the driver and found the alternator was bad. Luckily, he was able to get the part on a Sunday, even when the dealers were closed. Was able to fix the truck in a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend giving Antonio a call if you need a Mobile Diesel Mechanic in the area.

After describing the problem to Antonio he was able to locate my driver in under 30mins stating he already knew the problem was with the air break systems. He came prepared with the 2 parts needed and finished the repairs in one hour. This by far the best road service we've ever experienced. As for the cost...well let's just say we very happy and was glad to pay the price. Also he accepted Zelle for payment. Thank you sir, for being fair and honest and just plain old kind.

Had a blowout on the interstate on our travel trailer on a Sunday. Owner answered his phone and…read moresaid he had the two new tires that we needed. Friendly and available. We called and told him we were exactly 15 minutes away, and he said to call back when we were there and he'd come down. So we called when we arrived and he said he'd be there in 5-- which is exactly why we called with an exact ETA. Anyway, we agreed that he would go to the warehouse to get the tires we needed while we went to the ATM (place is cash only) and we would all meet back at the shop. After 20 minutes of waiting back at the shop, he called and asked if we still wants the tires. We were confused because the arrangement had been pretty clear and simple. But eventually, we did eventually end up with what we needed. Tires are a little expensive but worth it when you blow out a tire in the middle of nowhere. The name A&L is painted on his truck and shows up at the correct spot on Apple maps, but the actual shop is named "Juan's Auto Repair 2" so don't miss it when you drive by.
