High Five offers traditional diner foods and ambiance, and had good service as well. We ate the schnitzel champignon (French for mushrooms) - two large pork schnitzels, topped with mushrooms, gravy and mashed potatoes and gravy. The dish was very large, and we were happy to share the dish, rather than get something else with the meal. We have to say the dish very delicious!!! At the end of the meal, we took a piece of peach and berry pie to go, which was also very tasty. A spot to try if you are going through the area.

I loved my schnitzel- and it was huge. My daughter's pieroskhi with sausage was good and my wife's lettuce wrap was fine. The girl who took our order knew nothing about the food and wasn't very outgoing. That smell and the fact that all the tables were dirty when there was no one in there brought my rating down.

I called, got put on hold, to be hung up on 5 minutes later. I call back and the woman answers to take my order, this was at 5:33pm. I was informed there was 6 orders infront of us (knowing they are slow i expected that to be an hour and a half to maybe 2 hours) so I proceeded. 2 and a half hours later I call because it just seems excessive. She tells me the driver has it and will be there within minutes. 25 Minutes later!! I call again and express my opinion on how unacceptable it is, to be, basically, shrugged off by Tat, the woman on the phone. Almost $75 for 2 pizzas, wings and bread. All said and done it was 2 hours and 45 minutes to wait. The driver then told us he carried 1 delivery to vavenby, then to us in blackpool, THEN was going to little fort (hope they like cold food). Either staff up or stop taking orders past a point if you cannot provide good service. Ill be going in to get a FULL refund because at 48 minutes past my kids bedtime and they are still eating, I don't think anyone in their right mind would pay for that. Again, food is always good. But service is garbage. Hire more staff or limit your services accordingly to what you can actually accomplish. We ordered at 5:33 and got our food at 8:20pm. Thats says alot.

Everything here is homemade with wholesome ingredients. The owner is very sweet and it looks like she's worked hard to build up her small business. It seems like they like to try out new menu items -- when I came here the owner actually advised me that my first choice of side didn't turn out how she wanted it to and advised me to get the bean salad instead. The bean salad, although sounding unassuming had a tasty vinegar dressing and was just the right side to go with my sandwich for brunch. Although you can still eat inside, they have also crested two little patio areas for dining al fresca. This is a casual place so don't expect table service other than them bringing you your food when it's ready. Also nice to see that they sell a few items crafted by local artists in the bakery. Skip the heavy, processed foods and come here for a great treat!
