This vendor is not a good person. She was hired for an event that was fundraising for the Soap Lake…read moreFood Bank. She got to the event grounds while other vendors were setting up. We saw her leave within a couple of hours of arriving. Mind you, this wasn't the main event day, but there were still open vendors and a band was playing later. We inquired with one vendor if she was leaving. It was very hot out and a cool treat would have been great. They told us she was apparently leaving, but they had purchased sno-cones that were literal ice blobs. I saw the sno-cones sitting in the grass like little snow globes. They were still in that state a good half an hour or more after the truck left. We were told the next day about how this vendor was very demanding, was upset about where she was placed because she didn't get the one small shady spot, that she had gone vendor to vendor and on at the event and complained to every one she could. She only wanted to know how much profit she would make. Never mind the fundraiser. She then had gone on to social media to do the same. She is deleting comments and blocking people that don't agree with her narrative. I would NEVER give this company any business. And it's too bad. It was a very hot weekend and she really would have done extremely well.

The coffee was excellent, and the strawberry lemonade was also delicious. Unfortunately, there was an older gentleman in the shop who repeatedly stared at my daughter and me throughout our visit. We noticed it several times and felt increasingly uncomfortable. Even when we moved to different areas and returned to the room he was in, the staring continued. While I understand customers' behavior is not always something staff can control, the situation made us feel uneasy and detracted from what otherwise would have been a pleasant experience. The quality of the drinks was outstanding, but because of how uncomfortable we felt, this is not a place I would likely choose to visit again unless it was a necessity during another long road trip.

McGregor Farms has a meadery tasting room in the Pybus Public Market which is located in Wenatchee…read more It's been a while since I've been to this area of the state and it was time to stock up on meads and ciders (from Lake Chelan). I got the Blackberry Cocoa mead at the tasting room and just fell head over heels in love with it. It had exactly as it described in the title of the mead. A very delightful blend of blackberry and cocoa that played off of each other so very well and amounted to a very unique and fun mead to drink. The person that did the pour for me was excited about it too and they really were fond of this particular mead as well. I was so impressed by it I purchased a bottle of it and took it home. Steve was totally enthralled by this mead as well when we had it at home. For me it was just a sheer delight to have it a second time. It's also really great that this tasting room is located in Pybus Public Market as it's a cool little market place with all kinds of different shops to tempt you with.
