As a cosmetologist that has taken many courses to add to my services, this is hands down the most beautiful and clean training facility. I absolutely love the aesthetic and the space! It's great for learning while social distancing. My training was facilitated by the owner herself, who took all precautions. We are talking sanitizer at the door (and every room), two sinks, and spacious stations. I appreciated that she wore and recommended a face shield (on top of mask) as you are in very close proximity to your models. I took the lash lift (perm) and brow lamination course, and I liked the technique and added kit tools for pro tips! We had theory for an hour, a mannequin demo, and live model practice. (Ofcourse you bring your own, which is great during these times for peace of mind.) I was happy that I got the attention I paid for. I had constant monitoring in a class of 4, and kept being corrected to improve my speed as this process is time sensitive and there's no room to build bad habits! I got a lot of feedback and all my questions answered. I enjoyed this class and training center so much that I signed up for the eyebrow threading course this Sunday to enhance my work. Wish me luck y'all! read more

So initially I noticed Dotta Ink when I was driving through downtown Downey. I came in as a walk in to get nipple piercings. The person Rice at the front door was very nice and welcoming when I came in. Even though they were in a meeting, he tended to me right away with a smile. You know checking the vibe of a place is always important but they definitely checked that box for me. The piercer Chris came over and asked what I was looking to get and was sooo professional. I signed a form and I was able to voice my concerns. He double checked everything, he was also soo nice and explained the whole process to me. Chris also spoke to me throughout the process and kept me relaxed. Everything went easy and simple. Kind of felt like home honestly. I loved how easy and comfortable the process was. The shop also accepts Zelle so that was a plus! He cleaned me up and gave me aftercare instructions. Even offered further help with any trouble healing. This shop is definitely a vibe! And even upon leaving Rice made sure I was satisfied! I will most certainly be back for any other needs. I highly recommend!!! read more

Ladies and Gentlemen if your looking for a professional school and setting for lash and brow training! DAME DE LASH Academy is it. I received my training from the Master herself in a private one on one class and it was the best investment I've ever done on myself. She took her time to explain the fundamentals of being a Lash Artist there's so much more to just placing a lash on a client. She made sure I understood what I was getting myself into and definitely gave me all the tools I needed to be successful in this industry. So if you want to get certified learn the proper way, YouTube will not get into detail with it, trust me I tried. It's been a years later and I still feel comfortable reaching out for anything I may be struggling with Dame De Lash continues to help me strive and be a mentor in my life, Thank you Angela! read more

Hello Everyone, I am 34 years old. I have 7 tattoos. Most (5) of my tattoos are from the coolest person I have ever met. My go to at this shop is Tattoochick. Been following her since the good ol Myspace days. Since the first tattoo done by her, about 10 years ago, I have been following her around. Wherever she goes, I am there. Her tattoo style is cool, girly, fun. Her tattoos are so perfect: nice thin lines. Her watercolor tattoos are my favorite. Her color tattoos reflect her vibe: so vibrant, so fresh. She stands out by her work and her personality. I recommend getting tatted by Ms. Tattoochick. You need a cover up, a color tattoo, any tattoo, book an appointment with Ms. Tattoochick. Make sure you schedule it quick because she gets booked fast. read more

Great experience at this shop when I took my daughter in for a piercing. The staff was very professional from start to finish, making sure we both felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. Communication was clear and reassuring, which really helped ease any nerves. Angela was great friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything and made sure my daughter felt at ease. The piercing itself went smoothly, and everything was done with care and attention to cleanliness. They explained aftercare thoroughly and answered all of our questions without rushing us. Overall, a very positive experience I'd definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a safe, professional, and welcoming place. read more

I chose Dotta Ink because my brother has gotten multiple tattoos with Luis and always speaks highly of his experience. I was looking to get a tattoo and texted the number on their website, they reply quickly and were able to get me in early the next day. I really appreciated this because I've had to book tattoos weeks in advance at prior tattoo shops. I was paired with The Doctor, who was very nice throughout the tattoo session. He was very mindful of making sure I liked the placement and sizing of the tattoo or if I needed a break throughout the session. You can tell he's very passionate about his work. The overall atmosphere of the tattoo shop is great as well, all the tattoo artist make you feel included. read more

Let me start off by saying that Academy is beautiful! It's very vintage-girly with a touch of goth and I'm obsessed with her designing. The academy is well kept, throughly cleaned, and frankly a pleasant environment. However, that's just a bonus, the classes are spot on. Angela is very detailed about the learning process and she isn't just someone is going to take your money and send you off. She continuously checks up on her students and their progress and she there to contribute to help even after class is over to make sure you succeed as an beauty artist. By far the best at what she does, hands down! read more

I came in on a Friday night and had a really great experience. David and Marisela were super helpful Marisela helped me right away and she even put my favorite music (she could tell I was nervous) I showed him what I wanted, and he gave me exactly that. His work is very detailed, and you can tell he really knows what he's doing. The whole experience was smooth and comfortable. I would definitely go back to him and I'm already planning my next tattoo with him If you want a good, detailed tattoo from someone experienced, I highly recommend going with David. 10/10 read more

Maricela was absolutely amazing! She did my daughter's anti-eyebrow (surface) piercing and made the entire experience calm, professional, and reassuring from start to finish. She took the time to explain the process, answered all of our questions, and made sure my daughter felt comfortable every step of the way. Her attention to cleanliness, placement, and detail was outstanding. The piercing came out beautiful, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. It's difficult to find an artists that does such amazing work, atleast for me. After looking at so many instagrams, tiktok reels, facebook market place lol I finally stumbled upon Priscila (Inkmonic) -- right away I loved her energy, her patience in talking about the design, and making the imaginative idea come to life. Not only does her work speak for itself, but her light hand was also helpful and less painful. I have gotten two tattoos from her so far. But I can't wait to get more. She IS that girl. read more
