I have gone here since I was in high school for school dance dresses. One of the great things about this place is they take note of what high school you go to so no one else from your school can come and buy that dress, avoiding the oh-so-dramatic same dress crisis! As cheesy as it sounds, I have some good memories looking for high school dance dresses with my mom and friends here and I have the friendly environment and staff there to thank! Fast forward a few years and I still shop here for their fabulous clothes! They are fashionable, affordable and of good quality. I don't usually like receiving clothing as a gift, but my mom knows that whatever she picks out from here its almost a guarantee that I will love it! I live in the city now and every time my roommate compliments something I'm wearing she automatically says "its from that boutique in the suburbs isnt it?!" She had to check it out for herself so one weekend this past fall we made the trip out there and she was definitely impressed. As I mentioned, my mom is also a huge fan of American Male. She even had the bubbly and outgoing owner call my dad near Christmas time to "hint" to him that it might be a good idea to come pick up some things for my mom's christmas gift. I could continue because I have so many great things to say about this place, but I'll spare you. All in all, a friendly small store that deserves some recognition for their great business!

I'm not sure how long it's been around, but it's super cute and a welcome addition to the shops in downtown Lemont. I was searching for a dress to wear to an upcoming winter wedding and the two women in the store were so helpful! I had picked out a dress to try on and they immediately brought out a couple other suggestions, one of which was the winning dress! i It was so unique and not something I may have thought to try on myself, but it ended up so perfect for a winter wedding (above the knee, pretty black velvet with off-the-shoulder bell sleeves) and I got so many compliments on it throughout the night. It is a boutique, so items were not inexpensive, but the quality of the dress I bought made it worth the price point. And it was 10% off for small biz Saturday! Since visiting back around November I've also gotten a couple texts from the rewards program offering things like 15% off one item. I don't live in the SW burbs anymore but but next time I'm in Lemont I'll definitely make it a priority to stop in.
