On our first trip to La Quinta, we ended up having breakfast here twice during our stay. It's a super small and cozy spot, and it can definitely get crowded, but the service is quick. Their pastries are delicious, but they do go quickly, so if you see something you want, grab it! The blueberry Danish -- 100/10! Absolutely amazing and definitely one of my favorites. The first time I had the red chilaquiles with chorizo, and they had just a little kick while being packed with flavor. The chorizo was the perfect addition and really made the dish for me. When we came back for a third visit, I ordered the red chilaquiles again but completely forgot to add a protein aside from the egg. That was a little disappointing, but totally my fault! Definitely add the chorizo or your choice of protein for the full experience. On our third visit, my seven-year-old got the regular buttermilk waffles, and he absolutely loved them. Honestly, I kind of wished I had ordered them for myself! We also tried the chicken and waffles, and the sauce definitely brought the heat! It was pretty spicy, but the waffle really balanced it out.
