Incident at Dothan Power Sports on Oct 7th at 11am. I was there to get a warranty replacement for a battery that had crystallized and shorted after 5 months and 10 days of use. The service manager had excuse after excuse saying the failure was MY FAULT? Then this verbal exchange occurred: As he was walking away from me he said, "I've had enough of this crap"; referring to what I was saying as "crap". I said, "There is no reason for cursing. Where upon he pointed his finger at me and said, "YOU'RE A LIAR". I will not give Dothan Power Sports my business again or recommend them to anyone as long as that kind of customer relations is allowed. read more

Updating my review from 1 star to four bc the general manager and the people answering phones and the parts department are amazing and so helpful. Idk why I had such a bad experience with the manager of service, but anyways. Service department is still terrible, mean, and expensive. If I could rate the service department alone it would be 1 star, flat out. they literally took short cuts with my bike that I am running into a year later. They replaced my bolts with fasteners and Now I can't do any maintenance on my bike .I Should have read the reviews on this place because I am not the only one. read more

I like doing my own service on my motorcycle, but I did pay for the free service and like to take it to a professional just to make sure everything is checked. I did all of my own service except for two times. The first time someone in the service department adjusted up my throttle probably because they did not notice that the motorcycle had a choke. However, after I drove off and came to the first redlight the throttle rev'ed up while my clutch was in. Luckily I was able to use a multitool to adjust the throttle cable back down while sitting on the side of the road. Next time I took it in for servicing they installed the wrong oil filter in it and I wound up seizing my engine. They had to rebuild the engine and I sold it soon after that. Now looking for a new motorcycle and walked into the place the other day. Not one person spoke. One sales person walking around actually look at me up and down and turned and walked away. First, I know about the coronavirus and we need to social distance; however, if a store is open by appointment, they should make those appointments. I need a helmet in order to have transportation and they won't open for a helmet sale. If I wanted to buy a motorcycle from them, they'd open. Will never use them.....ever. and I buy lots of bikes. read more

We've purchased one motorcycle from this place several years ago and it was fine. However, we recently went to buy bikes on two separate occasions (shop local) and on the first, the sales person wasn't very knowledgeable about the product when I asked him to put the seat in the lower position on the Honda Africa Twin. I was further aggravated at the unwillingness to negotiate price. I instead opted to drive to Pensacola and purchase the adventure bike I wanted with knowledgeable sales staff and a dealership owner who was willing to negotiate. The second time we wanted a dirt bike and again found a better deal somewhere else, Beasley's in Ozark. Now we have a bike that has a factory recall, called Dothan Power Sports and the service department was incredibly rude and acted like we were wasting their time. I will once again go to Beasley. From this point on I'm done with Dothan Power Sports, got your message loud and clear, you don't want our business. My husband and I have 10 motorcycles, it's disappointing that a dealership so large and close to home has let us down so often. It's cool though, we've had great experiences at other places around town. read more

This place does not support the motorcycles they sale. I called to see about getting a 2007 Honda ST1300 with 10,000 miles looked at. The service guy said "We don't work on bikes that old". Unbelievable! this is the only Honda dealer out of five that I contacted that said they don't work on the bikes they sale! read more

I've called all around Florida and Alabama for the right tube size and tire they told me they had the one I needed and sold me one that was almost 2 sizes bigger I drove from Panama City to Dothan to get it and a tire i couldn't get the tire I wanted so I settled cause I'm trying to get home and there tire machine and I guess every shop in dothens tire machine's are broken so I had to drive back to Panama City to try and put it back on and it's the wrong damn tube so this is one star cause you've wasted my time my uncle's time and wasted my money I will be back to get my money and return the wrong size tube and the wrong style tire you sold me read more

Please do NOT do business with these people. I spent almost 30 thousand dollars on multiple 4 wheelers. I live an hour away from this dealership. I made pre-arranged service plans so I would not have to make multiple trips. Upon my arrival I watch the service manager eat his breakfast for 10 minutes before he even acknowledged me. When he did finally speak, he told me I was a liar and he wasn't keeping with our arrangement. He told me "I've been here 25 years and I will do what I want". Asked to speak to the manager and was told "The service manager gets yelled at by almost everyone" well what does that tell you about the service manager? Not to mention they they had one of my 4 wheelers for 26 days to replace a faulty key switch.. So 4 hours and hundreds of miles and a day....waisted. great job!! Absolutely horrible service department. In the past I bought a windshield. When I picked up my bike the windshield had adhesive tape all over the base that was wrinkled and folded over itself. On the drive home two body panels fell over and were severely damaged. A day or two later the windshield came loose and fell into the fairing. Most recently I had a battery fail while I was in Dothan. I was told their "electrical specialist" will be out for a month. When I told him I just need a battery he said he was backlogged for more than a month and wouldn't be able to sell me one. read more

Horrible service!! I bought some two stroke oil and asked if I could break in my rc car in on the dirt track in the back. The old guy at the register told me it would be okay. So, I brought my rc car and started driving it behind the trash can in the back. Then, two other angery old guys came walking very angrily towards me and kicked me off the property. This shop is great... had previous service from the parts department where they went out of their way to research some difficult items and got back with me... great job parts department...... Today, picked up my shadow after some tire and balance problems.... top notch service, extremely professional, awesome knowledge and very willing to share that knowledge along with best prices in the area.. what more can you ask for...well worth my 40 minute drive to get there... Was told by Jay the service mgr in Dec 2015 to wait until Jan 5th 2016 to bring my Kawasaki Mule in for repair. Jay told me they would get right on the repair. All I have to say is that u better get everything that is "supposed " to come with ur bike before u leave the store! My husband bought a bike a year ago and was told he could come back and get the original factory pipes within the next few days because the ones that were on it had heat wrap tape on them....needless to say everytime he called or went by it was always a different excuse! Called to see if they could work on my 4 wheeler that day and pretty much told them what the problem was going to be. Service department informed that they don't work on anything that old and at $90.00 an hour it wouldn't be worth it. Part was not available at this dealership but was available in Ozark for $65.00.
