My partner and I stopped in for some lunch since I saw online they had vegetarian options for soondubu and that is my very favorite soup ever!!! It was amazing!! My partner got the bulgogi beef and said it was delicious! We will 100% be back to this cute little spot inside of an asian grocery store!

This store is right off highway 75 and is part of a strip. Thankfully I read the other reviews and went through the grocery store but I can definitely see how others get lost with all the signage outside. Inside of the restaurant is really small, not ideal for big groups but you're able to order ahead and dine in as we saw. Food took 35-40 minutes to come out with us being the second diners there, which is a while so be patient as I believe there is only 1-2 cooks. You place your order and pay first. There is also free water and cups to the right of the cashier. Menu with pictures on the wall to be descriptive and visualizing. Galbi: 5/5, so flavorful and delish! Bulgogi Kimbap: 5/5, it was filled to the brim, so good! Meat dumplings: 3/5, it was good. Beef stew: 3/5, it was also good. Bonchon: 3/5, it was okay. Overall, it was a good experience and we would return if we were in the area. Staff was nice and everything was clean.

This is a walk up counter inside the Oriental market. Don't get discouraged. Looking for a way in. It is 100% worth it. This was our first time and we will definitely be back. Food was amazing. I got the beef Bulgogi and my husband had the spare ribs. They did not disappoint. They come with sides. All were delicious. There are a few tables where you can eat in the restaurant. They do a very busy takeout. We will be back.

Korean food is a family favorite and so thankful our cousin recommended this spot during our Tampa trip for soccer. As you enter the market it was a sweet reminder of our time in Korea! When we saw kimbap on the menu in the small restaurant attached our mouths watered! With celiac I about cried when I found out the shrimp was fried.... BUT the sweet lady at the counter said she can do the tuna kimbap gluten free..... yay!! Our family ordered three different kimbaps, (tuna, bulgogi and shrimp) and bibimbap. Everything was wonderful!

This place popped up on my random Yelp search. It's inside of the Korean market (bonus, you can shop while waiting for your food) it's a little more pricey than K-kitchen but they have fairly large portions with tasty banchans. There is a spot to eat in but most people that ordered took it to go (I did too) Definitely, worth a try. I may go back to try other dishes next time I'm in the area.

You definitely have to check out Dosi Rak. I drove from Wesley Chapel to USF area to visit a Korean grocery store and imagine my surprise to discover Dosi Rak, that I've heard good things about, was attached. Of course I had to order! My Mom was with me and she tried Korean for the first time, she had the bulgogi bibimbap and loved it! I'm happy to be able to share new foods to her. I got something I've tried before,Bibimbap, veggie style and tried something new, Korean Street food Tteokbokki. Unfortunately I had a bit of a drive home before I could chow down but the food was delicious! My egg continued to cook on my ride back to Wesley Chapel so don't judge my photo based on the well done egg! We ordered to go bc my Mom is being ultra careful with covid even tho by the time our order was up the other diners had left. I have never had Tteokbokki as I said and it was delicious! My eyes were watering bc I'm a bit of a spicy weakling but it was too good to stop eating. The little rice cakes were such a nice texture chewy and soft and just yum. I could eat some more right now. Such a comforting food I can see why it's a popular one. I'm a carb fiend so it was quite delightful The sauce is very spicy, I handle gochujang fine but the added chili powder really lit me up but the flavor is so good despite the heat. Nice deep and rich smoky heat, better than what you find at American grocery store called chilli pepper. Definitely try Dosi Rak out! Orders come out quickly and they provide great service to their customers.

Our new favorite Korean spot! I love that it's attached to their market so you can shop and eat all in one. I tried the galbi beef and the marinade was delicious and gave the beef a little carmeling flavor. My husband tried the spicy chicken bulgogi and he said it reminded him of his favorites from when he lived in Korea. The kimbap didn't come with a dipping sauce but was tasty as well. We will be going back for sure!

Why 4 stars? Because this is a convenient option when I'm craving Korean. --- --- --- I've bookmarked Dosi Rak a couple of months ago because I am always down for beef bulgogi and I saw that the reviews here were really solid. When I arrived, I discovered that the restaurant is actually just a counter inside of an Asian market. You walk in, head to the far left and will find that there's a small area dedicated to the restaurant. I actually don't even recall if there were tables, but there were definitely no other patrons here (or in the grocery store, for that matter). As should be predicted, I ordered the beef bulgogi. Sadly, to be honest, it was not very memorable. It was possibly the least inspiring beef bulgogi I've ever had. It wasn't bad or anything, but it was not something I'd need to order again from here. But the 3-star bulgogi is brought up by what else I tried: chicken katsu and the wings. Both of these were great. I really loved the bbq sauce that accompanied the wings. The crispiness and the flavor of both of these items were ideal. In a heartbeat I'd order both again. I see people in reviews mentioning the short ribs, but I did not see those on the menu photos. If Dosi Rak indeed makes those, that is what I would order for visit #2.

Korean Street food on sale. The restaurant is located inside the grocery. When the grocery close, the restaurant also close. As the result, the hour is odd. Dosi meaning city and Rak meaning joy, pleasure or comfort. But when two word join together is pack meal or lunchbox. Very interesting. They do serve excellent lunchbox. I would recommend if you have less money with quick 3 combinations meal. Here is the place. We have been here twice. We got the bulgogi and the spicy pork pack meal. It come with fish cake and purple rice. The meat dish is cook at the order and fresh delicious. Not much of service since this is a fast food place. Definitely better than most fast food for the same price. I would said better deal with meat and veggies.

In a somewhat run down looking strip mall, the small restaurant was simple, but showing K-music videos on a TV. Unfortunately I couldn't see it from my seat, but I'll change that next visit! Our server was polite, helpful, and attentive. We ordered a ridiculous amount of food since we drove 45m to try it, so had a Kimchi Pajeon, Kimbap, Soon Tofu, and Veggie Fried Rice. The pancake was DELICIOUS-super flavorful and chock full of veggies. I did not care for the Kimbap, only because it had less flavor and was a little more dry than the other items, but it tasted very fresh. The Soon Tofu was spicy and full of flavor. It came with a huge heaping of rice in a cute covered dish to keep it hot - I'm ordering these things for home! The veggie fried rice, for which we opted no egg, was also fantastic, but we ended up taking ,ost of it and the pancake home for leftovers. We were also served Ban Chan - side dishes, of small tastes of seasoned veggies such as bean sprouts, eggplant, cucumbers, broccoli, radish, and more. It was all amazing. Sadly, we had no room for anything else, but I will definitely be back as soon as possible. SO worth the drive and expense!

They were also out of the crab egg roll, out of sweet tea, and out of lettuce in which we like to wrap the bulgogi. We ordered mandu, it was good but a little bit doughy because of the wrap they use, not as crispy as we would expect. I ordered the dolsot bibimbop. Mine came out first and was sizzling hot. No complaints, the egg had a runny yolk which means it was not overcooked like many I have had in the past. The bibimbop sauce is delicious with just the right amount of kick. Waitress brought out banchans, there were six different types, pickled eggplant, nori, broccoli, kimchi, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. Son ordered pork bulgogi. The plate was heaping with pork, and the sauce was nice and thick and stuck to the pork. Spouse ordered beef bulgogi and it took about 10 minutes for his to come out after our son and I had our meals. The plate was heaping, but spouse said the beef was a little bland, but some of the bibimbop sauce took care that. Son and spouse took leftovers with them. We were kind of disappointed in the items they did not have, but the lady waiting on us was nice and we realize they are a small business and when things are busy, it is easy to run out. The interior was a little dark, did not go to the restroom so cannot comment on the cleanliness but what we did see looked clean.

I would recommend using filtered water. My Dolsot Bibimbop was good, but for the price I expected a bit more veggies. Spouse got the pork bugogi and it was good. He ordered the lettuce to wrap the pork bulgogi, and the lettuce was cut in half lengthwise, which made it hard to roll a lot of pork in the lettuce. It did come with a lot of bonchas. This dish made its way to Korea and became Koreanized, becoming spicier and evolving into the Jampong noodle we have today. Jajangmyun is also one of the most popular comfort foods among Koreans, just like its ancestor Zhajangmien, which is a popular comfort food in Beijing, China. Korean Jajangmyun differs from Chinese Zhajangmien as the sauce is thicker, sweeter, and has more vegetable, meat, and seafood toppings.
