    Two veggie hard shell tacos.
    Lindsay J.

The owner is so kind! He will walk you through the options and time as much time as you need to ask questions and get them answered. I ordered two hard shell vegetarian tacos. Rice, beans, lettuce, pico, guac, cheese, lime. Nice options. I will get salsa next time. The owner gave me a small. Ag if chips to try as well. Yum.

I had seen an announcement in the Bartlett newsletter about the opening. I looked at the other location's yelp reviews and they were very good, so we went and tried it out. It's really Chipotle, same basic menu, same setup, similarly priced. But they tout that everything is fresh and made in store. I think that a very fair assessment, simular flavors but just everything tasted fresher. I purposely built my order the same as I would have to kind of do a side by side comparison. First I noticed they are more focused on portion size and distribution. The rice was evenly distributed and so on with everything else. I really appreciated that when adding the salsa they poured it evenly all around, not just a spoonful in the middle. They have a few more topping options such as cilantro, red onions, fresh and pickled jalapenos, and olives. Everything tasted fresher and their barbacoa was better than Chipotle's by a good margin, and I like the barbacoa at Chipotle alot. My wife commented that the chicken was much much better not only tasting but texture wise. They are a tad cheaper as well, a dollar or so, but cheaper. I also noticed that adding guac which is an arm and a leg at Chipotle was considerably cheaper. We will likely be coming here more exclusively as it was excellent and I really want to try all their other things.

I finally found the right time to try this place, being in the mood for a dine-in Mexican dinner…read more It's a nice place with pleasant servers, and kudos to the guy who filled my water 3 times. I was torn between a chicken mole dinner or just good old tacos. I opted for the tacos Al pastor with rice and beans. I have had Al pastor at many, many places, and it's been interesting to see people's takes on the recipes. These were, hands down, the best I've had anywhere. The meat was charred nicely, yet tender. The marinade/sauce had the perfect balance between the sweetness of the pineapple and the counterbalance of the lime, cilantro, and onion. I was so proud of my selection, that I ordered some to-go for my daughter to try. I also had a delicious strawberry margarita and finished off with a tres leches dessert. Everything was superb! I'll be back for that mole someday, and will also try their Taco Tuesday. Judging from my food, as well as the presentations of others choices that I noticed, I believe their chef is seriously talented and creative.

My wife and I are pretty stuffed right now! I had the quesabirria tacos and she had a spicy shrimp dish with avocado and tortillas. Oh, and we had the nachos with a flight of 5 delicious salsas, as an appetizer. In the end, Orale felt different. It had a city vibe to it. We dug it and will be back for more. Near Hanover Park and in the mood for some Mexican cuisine? Check out Orale!

Chips, salsa, pico de gallo, and escabeche (pickled vegetable) hit your table and is a snack in itself. Salsa amazing. Green & mild. Red & hot rich and flavorful with that toasted char from the tomatoes that really comes through. I do love my burritos, but there's so much to choose from here. Tacos lengua, chorizo, pastor, and more. Great big plump tortas. Mix em up for an assortment of flavors. Recommend getting the caldo de res (beef soup.) An extremely rich and beefy soup with plenty of vegetables and big chunks of beef. Great staff. Waitress couldn't be more accommodating. She can tell you how everything is prepared which speaks of the handmade quality of the ingredients and the dish. Get the horchata or jamaica or mango Jaritos for a good pairing with your meal. Although, they do have plenty of alcoholic beverages, including margaritas, piña colada's and beer to choose from, such as Modelo. Highly Recomend.

The inside of the place is festive. You'll get the occasional day with extremely loud TV, music, or even karaoke. Lots of table seating and a few bar seats. The michelada's are excellent...large and refreshing. The service is wonderful and they'll over fill you with chips and salsa.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated for Valentine's Day... balloons and table arrangements. There is Spanish music playing softly in the background. There is a large tv near the bar area when you first walk in. The waitress let us pick our table and gave us menus to look at along with complementary chips and salsa. The chips are sprinkled with a red powder and the salsa is a green chunky blend... so yummy! She put three different bottled sauces on our table too (see photos) the menu has lots of great options! Something for everyone... kids section too. I ordered the Pozole soup! Oh boy the soup very filling and flavorful. The temperature is just right. The meat is very tender and the beans are nice and chewy (Not hard or soft). This is the best Pozole I have ever had. I will definitely order it again. It came with a stack of crispy corn tostadas, onions, lettuce, and slices of limes! So so yummy! My husband ordered the Fajita Texana (a burrito with steak, chicken, and shrimp) he said the Fajita Texana was very good with all the vegetables and meats mixed together. It marinated well and made the flavor really stand out. We highly recommend dining here and will definitely come back again!

Given the number of reviews for its location, it appears to be a local staple for Mexican food. The menu was a good size and they had a lot of different choices of meat choices for tacos. My review today is based on the taco dinner that I ordered. I went with my standard go to selection for tacos in a dinner: Tripa dorada, Al Pastor and Asada. I can definitely say that it was all very different, in a positive way. Their tripa dorada was fried to almost a chicharron (pork rind). I've only had tripa done this way in a few other places and it's not common. The Al Pastor was different from what I've had anywhere else. The meat selection was different. The marinade was different and was more on the sweeter side.....some kind of sweet spice, I can not point it out. The carne asada was also a very different cut. It was nicely chopped. The meat was very tender and was easy on my bite as I ate. Despite all the differences that I am pointing out, the food definitely felt fresh and good quality. This is perhaps why it has as many reviews as it does, they want to be selective and not afraid to do it slightly different than everyone else. The portions were very generous. The salsas were also good. They have one green salsa and two red salsa options. One red salsa was spicier than the other. Another highlight were the Totopos (chips). They looked home made, made in house unlike a lot of places where chips may be processed. The only thing that I would critique was that my asada had a noticeable oil drip, more than I would have liked. That's the only thing I would say. The waitress was very attentive and would come around very often to check on me. I would encourage you to come check it out for yourself.

I said no problem and asked how much it was. They were changing $6.99. I declined because I felt that was overpriced. We got our food. There was barely any steak on the torta. And they were charging $12.75 for it. I normally don't complain as I used to be in the food service industry and know how it is but decided to bring it up to them due to the price. I asked if they could put more steak on the torta. The cook came to the front and was extremely rude and said "if you don't like the food then just give it back and we will give you a refund.". I told him that I wanted to get what I paid for and to not my money back. And he said something about it being portion controlled and he just works there but continue to be rude and said he could just give me my money back. After some arguing back and forth we decided to give him the food back. My wife ate half of her food I took two sips of my horchata and he only refunded me everything but the $8 for the sope. This was extremely unprofessional. Again I don't complain much especially with reviews, however this was very disrespectful. I asked to speak to the owner and when he would be in but they said they don't know and we're extremely dismissive. Another thing to note is that we ordered off of the large menu in the restaurant then come to realize that most items listed on the receipt where at least $0.75 more that we paid for. We ended up paying over $3.50 more than what was advertised on there menu that people order from every day. Buyer beware please make sure you check your receipt when you order from there. I did bring this up to the cashier and he said "oh yeah those prices are old". I understand that but they should be updated it would take no more than 20 minutes to update the menu.
