I've been several times since they opened and everything I've had there has been delicious. The momo are amazing - my favorite are the kothay momo, crispy on the bottom and soft on top. Their chicken tikka masala and Nepali gravy chicken are both so tender and perfectly seasoned, and their beef curry is also excellent. (Always extra naan bread, of course, don't miss any of that sauce...) We've also tried their yellow lentil soup, thukpa noodles and alu chop, which are crispy fried potato patties - so so good! Every member of my family is obsessed with a different dish here. Next I want to try their mushroom curry and chicken keema noodles. The dining room is cozy and nicely decorated and the family who owns and staffs the restaurant are so nice. They're happy to answer any questions you might have about the menu and explain any dish. I've brought work colleagues, friends, and visitors from out of town here and everyone's loved it. Also, we've never waited long for service, even when I once came in with a party of eight. Because their seating is limited, I do try to call beforehand if I'm bringing a group, just to give them a heads up. They will always do their best to get you seated right away. They care about their food, their culture and their customers. Five stars! We're so glad to have this taste of Nepal nearby! Go get these momo!

I had a $25 gift card to spend and thought that would cover most of the total. I get there and they charged me about $80 for TWO items! I didn't say anything at first but now as I write this review I knew something was off. - Chicken Tikka Masala costs $23.00. - Two plain naan is about $12.00. - After taxes I should have only paid about $37.80 or $40 for this food! When I got to the restaurant, they came to the front and asked how I was paying. I said with the gift card. The person cashing me out used some sort of card reader on their iPad kiosk he brought over. To cover the rest of the total I paid with a $50 bill I had, anticipating the total would be more than $25.00. I should have questioned why the total was so insane on the spot! Let that be a lesson for next time! IF THERE IS A NEXT TIME! While the food was really good you really need to speak up if you have any discrepancies with your bill on both dine in and takeout! It should not cost eighty dollars for two maybe 3 items at any Indian restaurant! Beware of this next time you visit Bollywood Grill in Cumberland, RI

We ordered the fried okra, which was surprisingly unique and absolutely delicious. Perfectly fried with a savory flavor and just a touch of sweetness definitely a standout. We also tried the naan bread, including the onion naan, which was generously stuffed and packed with flavor. To drink, we had a mango lassi and fresh lemonade, both refreshing and a great pairing with the meal. Overall, we were really impressed and truly enjoyed our experience. We'll definitely be back.

So, additionally, I waited another 20 minutes for my food. Granted, there was only one woman working the front of the house..but that is no excuse for such a delay from the kitchen. Unless, she didn't put the order in when I first called?!! To make matters worse, the food was horrible. The noodles tasted old and stale...the chicken was dry like cardboard. And, this dish which typically has a peanut base, had no peanut flavor whatsoever. I ended up having to add a teaspoon of peanut butter to give the food some kinda taste. I will not be a repeat customer, and I unfortunately will not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
