Passion for Catering was recommended by a friend and booked them for our baby shower of about 75 guests. I wasn't expecting anything more than good food and good service but what we received blew away expectations. The team was responsive throughout the booking process (a huge plus) and offered an eclectic and robust menu. That's all great to start but the real test came the day of our event. Their team was there on time to set up and food was ready by the time our first guests arrived. The food was delectable and truly made our time with friends and family memorable. Just as Passion for Catering was recommended to us by a friend, we'll be recommending them to all our friends on the market for a caterer. *kicking myself for not taking photos but will update for our next event!

So we went for a walk and came back. It's was about 30 min later when the food was ready to go. At first I thought I might have not ordered enough for the crowd. The containers looked small. I had roughly 26 employees to feed. Turns out we had enough and enough for some take home plates. The food was delicious. The guac tasted so fresh and the salsa too - yum! Everyone enjoyed the food and asked for me to order from them again. I will be going there for myself to try out the other items.

The Persian Chicken Kabobs are excellent. Between Santorini and Danville International Market I think Diamondbite's has the juiciest by far. Grilled to perfection. For the ground meat kabobs, I can only recommend the Beef version. The ground chicken was dry and overly seasoned - salty to the point of being inedible. The saffron rice is also good, though some more oil would be nice. They also offer extreme contrast of flavors - a side of pickled cabbage that's really tart and a single jalapeño pepper that's spicy for me. Definitely plan to try some of their other offerings. They ran out of Aush Resteh last time so it'll be something to look forward to forward too.

I ordered catering for a memorial gathering and specifically requested delivery at 2:00 PM. I…read moreconfirmed the address and delivery time by text as requested. At 1:45 PM on the day of the event, I received a message that the food had just been sent by Uber. Concerned, I reached out for confirmation but received no response for 30 minutes. The food ultimately arrived about an hour late. When I later discussed the situation with the owner, I had hoped for understanding and a simple acknowledgment of the mistake. Instead, I was met with repeated excuses and defensiveness. Despite the clear communication leading up to the event, there was no apology and no acceptance of responsibility for the late delivery. The food itself was good. However, what left the most negative impression was not the delay itself, but the complete lack of accountability afterward. Delays happen, but customers deserve honest communication and ownership when things go wrong. Unfortunately, because of the way this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this business to others and will not be using their services again.

I'm writing this in the hopes that Minh will reach out to me directly with a contact number so we can move forward and work with Aloha Catering. Otherwise, we'll need to start exploring other catering options. I will update this review once I hear back from Minh.

This made it convenient to raise the walls in case more than 240 people showed up at the location. Mercy and her crew made the entire event very easy on everyone involved.
