The street tacos were the best things I've had since leaving San Diego. Don't even waste your time if service means anything at all to you. The food was seasoned fine. Portions are fine. I ordered unsweetened iced tea. I had to send back the SWEET tea 2 times before I got unsweetened. The waitress told me she even had the bartender test what I got and he said it was unsweetened. I didn't tell them I have a pretty bad mouth sore that's contagious. That disgusts me that she said that. Then the third time she brought me back unsweetened tea. FINALLY! It really is irritating that they tried to tell me I had unsweetened tea when obviously it wasn't as they eventually fixed it. This was my first visit. Most likely my last. read more

We tried this place on a Sunday afternoon. We opted not to have the buffet which looked just okay. I ordered a beef chimichanga, I got chicken. My wife ordered a vegetarian chimichanga and it was soggy and giant spears of vegetables. The guacamole it came with was brown. Even the iced tea tasted like dirt. When the manager asked how was our meal we told him and he defended all the food instead of trying to make us happy. We won't be back. read more

Make sure to double check your bill because in the menu it said guacamole was 5.99 and made fresh at your table.. However, when I got my bill it said 7.99. When I simply asked the owner why this was so, he shrugged his shoulders and said I had to pay the 7.99. The waitress forgot my queso, and I asked nicely twice for it. She gave me my bill and charged me for two drinks I didn't get, so I told her and she said "she didn't charge me for the queso which she forgot." This place was just terrible. We went because my wife had heard it was good, and it has nice reviews, so we decided to give it a shot. And maybe the food is good, but I never got to find out. From the moment we walked in, not a single hostess (there were at least 3 or 4) was smiling or seemed to want to be there. No "Hi, how are you?" or "Welcome to our restaurant." But they took our name down and said it would be a few minutes, no big deal. Not five minutes after we'd gotten there, two men walked in and starting talking to an employee; she may have been a manager, based on the way she was dressed compared to the others. All I know is that the men spoke to her for a minute as if they were friends (they got a smile and a proper greeting) and then seated immediately, even though there was a room full of people waiting. Manager or not, I don't care. If you're gonna give special treatment to your friends, at least have the decency to be subtle about it. After about 10-15, one of the hostesses starts walking around calling "Rob's" party, looking at us expectantly. When no one replied to her she checked the pad again and started calling my name, which makes me think they couldn't even take a name down properly. So once they finally figure out who they're looking for, the hostess leads us through an overcrowded, fire hazard, maze of a room to a booth near the back of the house. We get chips and salsa right away, and the waiter (who was actually very friendly; the only one) gets our drinks, so I start to perk up. Since it's our first time, I ask for a few minutes to look at the menu... A FEW minutes. He leaves and we look over the menus. At first it's nice; it bugs me when I ask for time to look at the menu and they come back every 2 minutes asking if we're ready. We decide what we want, take maybe about 10 minutes, and then close our menus and wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. Not only does our waiter not come check on us, I don't see him anywhere to try and call him over for 25-30 minutes. By the time he did come, my wife's drink had been empty, mine was almost empty, and I've just had it. I ask for the check and (surprisingly) he's back with it promptly. We go to pay for our drinks and the hostess at the cashier (still not smiling or friendly) doesn't even bother asking us if we enjoyed ourselves, so my wife brings up that we didn't get served for close to 30 minutes. NOW they show some emotion. They give the token "I'm sorry about that" type thing, but don't offer to make it up in any way, so we just paid and left. Never in all my life have I felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant. Fuck this place; I won't be going back. read more

The waiter use profanity. I overheard her calling us assholes. After my friend asked for no guacamole because he's allergic and he could die 10 times and he got the dish with guacamole once he asked them to scrape it off they left some on. My coworker visited this place two days in a row...she was raving after the first visit so we went back the next day. Just the decor alone was worth the trip - such intricate carvings and lively colors and designs. They have an extensive menu and everything we ordered was good. Such reasonable prices, good and quick service and a really nice environment - nice pick! It must be really nice for happy hour or a special event with live music, etc. read more

Wow. Bad attitude, chip lady! Our waitress was busy taking an order at the table across from us so since we had a choriqueso dip and we're running out of chips, we asked the little woman who appeared to be THE person who delivers chips and salsa to the tables if she could bring us more. She stopped and told our waitress and left. Our waitress did ask us if we needed more chips them took our chip basket that still had a few chips in it and left us with nothing to eat the (formerly) hot dip with. She returned about 5 minutes llater weith chips. Meanwhile, the chipwoman walked by us with chips several times, sometimes without salsa, so apparently she *can* deliver chips only to a table. We have had decent experiences before but we went recently as a party of 7 and we had a horrible experience. We were greeted with an employee complaining loudly to her superior and refusing to help him. Someone eventually officially "greeted" us and led us to the back. It took us 2 hours total to order, eat, and pay (before ordering and after eating and attempting to pay being a majority of the time). Service was sparse. We ordered a "side" of queso which turned out to be a tiny cup. The men's bathroom was disgusting. There were a bunch of employees just standing around, not helping. I brought 65 people to their Sunday brunch today. Of course, I warned them we were coming. The food and service were both fantastic. My total bill was $842. For Fort Wayne, Indiana this place is not bad. I'm sure it's not authentic like in Texas or whatever. But.....this is north eastern Indiana lol. I dined here with a large group on a Friday, and, on our way out, a friend who was sitting at the far end of the table pulled me close and whispered, "We could have done better at Chipotle." Probably true. Her guacamole was pretty ordinary. My salad consisted of a mountain of shredded iceberg topped with a generous mound of shredded cheese and a few translucent shrimp. I said the special said $8.99,he said that for lunch. He changed it to $10.99,but said check with the boss. Salsa is good. Chips are ok and margaritas are ok and sometimes good, as are the fish tacos. Everything else is kind of bland, and their chimichangas are downright awful (shell is soggy). Explain why that is when it is supposed to be deep fried... service is good and atmosphere is fun. Kind of a mixed bag; some good, some bad. Much better Mexican to be had in town. read more

This place is great! I'm celiac so it's hard for me to find places to eat at that are accommodating. They don't have a gluten free menu but the manager came out and told me what's safe and what to avoid. Their table side guacamole was amazing and I got pick what I wanted in it. The decor is stunning and there is soooooo much room here. You could certainly bring a large group. We ordered the buffet once we found out there was fresh cilantro and onions. Sadly, many Mexican restaurants do not offer fresh cilantro. The food was good, though I was hoping for some guacamole and queso at the buffet. Pepsi products was a plus- I love mt dew! Order the fresh guacamole, they make it right at your table which is always a treat and you can see that it's fresh. The place is huge and the decor is festive. Seems cleaner than other Mexican establishments in town. The carnitas burrito is really good and a nice twist to ordering plain carnitas. The quesadillas aren't anything special though. Chips & salsa are great. Can't stop eating their salsa!! I always seem to gravitate toward their burritos. I can say the burritos are top notch. I had to give this restaurant at least 1 star it wouldn't let me write my review if I didn't click onto it, I didn't want to give it any stars what so ever. Me and my wife went there on 5/5/2018 got seated about 5:50pm at 6:16pm I went and told the manager we had no service at all just a glass of water when he went back to our table the waitress was finally there ready to take our order without asking if we wanted appetizers or any thing like that of the sort, and then finally we got our order after another 45 minutes of waiting, my wife got chicken fajitas and I got chicken taco salad which had no seasoning at all, my wife had also asked for flour tortillas and she got none with her meal so 10 minutes later when the waitress walked by again my wife stopped her and asked her about her flour tortillas and she said she forgot them and she went and got them for her and brought her corn tortillas instead so my wife put them aside and just ate it plain without the tortillas, waitress nor management did nothing about our bill which is not the big deal it's the service and treatment of customers which was the poorest I've ever had in my life we did not leave the waitress any tip it is the first time I've never left a tip and I've had other crappy service before but this tops the chart for this restaurant if anyone wants to go there I would seriously think about it hard me and my wife won't be it's a joke read more

We love this place! The salsa and cheese dip are great, and the guacamole is delicious - they will hand make it right in front of you at your table. They have a special on Wednesday's - lime Margaritas are only $2! Also the colorful paintings all over the entire restaurant are pretty amazing. The only thing that bothers me is that the chips usually don't come out hot but other than that the food is great. Highly recommend(especially on Wednesday)! read more

This was my first time eating at this restaurant and my last. There are a few reasons why I will not be returning. I went there to have a nice day out with my husband but it wasn't a good experience. First they brought our food to our table and my order was wrong so they had to return it and make me the correct order and when they brought me my correct order my husband was already done with his food. So I wasn't able to eat with my husband. The cheese in my enchiladas wasn't even melted. My piña colada didn't taste like there was even any alcohol in it whatsoever. It makes me wonder if they even added any to it. The salsa was watery. The enchiladas didn't taste like real authentic Mexican food. It tasted really cheap. Very much like the soft tacos from Taco Bell. We had to ask for napkins. Our waitress never came to check on us. I had to get up and find her when I needed her. They should have offered a discount or something for giving me the wrong order and making wait to eat so that I couldn't eat with my husband. They didn't seem to care about their mistake at all. So, terrible food, slow service and not very friendly. The only thing that was good about the restaurant was how it looked inside. I have an allergy to guacamole and beans. I repeatedly checked to make sure they ordered correctly. I got the food and it had both on it. When I asked the waitress and she responded with attitude and seemed highly annoyed. I'm very disappointed with this. The same waitress then responded to my friend who got food he didn't order with " eat it anyways" and never gave him the meal he ordered. Awful! Not to mention it took 25 minutes just to order a drink. Plus my friend found a hair in his steak taco that he didn't order! Unacceptable!
