We have been enjoying this New find in Commerce for about Six months. It's absolutely fantastic. I always get the Street tacos. And they are always consistently delicious with a decent amount of meat. Expensive for Street Tacos. But delicious. Because of my many experience being consistent. I decided to use this restaurant to place my catering order for our families Christmas Dinner. I Totally understand it's a small business and didn't care about the pricing because my experience had been it was fair based on quality and quantity. I also understand catering is NOT a specialty. Pricing is per meal as if you were ordering dinner from the menu. I as I've stated I expected the $420 for 100 Taco's Beans and Rice and four Large White Queso's. I have ZERO complaints about the quality as always it's fabulous and that is why I gave five 's. The Quantity of main Ingredients (meat) for the Street Tacos is where I was disappointed. I ordered twenty five, four taco plates. Totaling 100 tacos. It was so disappointing to see that there was hardly any Chicken or Steak on so many of the taco's that my family made nagative comment's comments. Shocked at how much I had paid. It basically was four tacos with the equivalent of two taco worth of meat if that. I had also ordered four large white queso's. When I picked up the order there were so many White Styrofoam cups filled with salsa I didn't know what was what at the time. The cups were equivalent to a small soft drink cup. in my mind that was my mistake, I should've confirmed the sizes of what a Large Queso to go looked like. Nonetheless my purpose of this review is for future reference for anyone who orders catering, be aware that the food is absolutely worth the price. The disappointment was finding that out of four tacos per person. The meat equivalent was two tacos, so there were a lot of taco shells, but not a lot of meat and the queso size is not a large cup of queso it's what they're large size "bowl" is at the restaurant poured into a cup. So just be aware of those things maybe in time as the restaurant does more catering. These things will adjust themselves?? The Amount of Salsa and Chips with Onions and Cilantro was excessive. Compared to the most important things. The actual meal. I had told my sister NOT to order any other food from the Mexican Restaurant she normally goes to because I felt like I had ordered plenty. I was wrong. This definitely wouldn't stop me from eating here again, it would definitely keep me from placing a large catering order. Hopefully this will change by Next Christmas? It's our yearly Christmas dinner. read more

Dos Laredos has a nice Mexican feel inside. The food here was delicious. It tasted fresh, it came out quick, and the service was excellent. My michelada was tasty and very refreshing. This is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant. They are consistently good with everything that I've ever tried and have the best chips, salsa, and queso Blanco. I try to come here with my family every time we have opportunity to go out to our farm. I love getting the Karina's enchiladas, the steak and chicken quesadilla and the fajitas! The service is always excellent, and the food always comes out fast. There is also a cool little sweet, ice cream, and popcorn shopped just a couple of storefronts down. OMG y'all were from Gober over by Bonham and had given Up on finding Good Mexican Food. Well it has finally happened. I was in Heaven with everything. I had the Chimichanga with white queso Y'all it was fried to perfection and tasted fresh and was Sooooooo good. My Fiancé had the Cheese Enchiladas and said they were amazing as well. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. Overall Clean and Great Service with Great Food. It's our NEW Mexican Food Spot. Hopefully nothing changes anytime soon. read more

this place is freaking great and just about the one of the two places you can get good food in commerce. dine in service was great, our waitress was attentive and accommodating. being that this is a college town don't expect too much from it. carry out service was great too. whole order of nacho's and fajitas took less than 20 minutes to pick up. the restaurant itself is exactly how every other small town tex mex restaurant is in texas. read more

One of the few places where you can get red sauce (old fashioned sauce) instead of chili con carne. Great cheese enchiladas. Margaritas as good, too. We've been there twice. Both times service was quick, food was hot, orders correct, staff was friendly. The locals rave about this place so I thought I would give it a shot during lunch. I got the chicken enchiladas verde, and although the chicken was moist there really wasn't much flavoring in the actual chili sauce. Honestly it was sort of bland which is never good in a Mexican restaurant. I see lots of reviews of people saying that the service is excellent. However, in my experience I found the waitress to be very cold and not very welcoming. As far as the owner is concerned, who was taking the money at the cash register, he had virtually no personality at all. I can't speak for the other Mexican restaurants in this town, but the next time I visit the city I will be trying out their competition to see if it's better. read more

Absolutely amazing food and experience for my first visit inside a restaurant during the COVID. All employees were taking safety precautions and constantly cleaning/wearing masks. I felt very safe coming here. I highly recommending coming and supporting your locally owned family businesses especially since they had to close for rona.. Which also means waitresses were no longer employed/tips. If you do you and you will not be disappointed if you do, tip well! My server, Abby was the BEST! I had the De La Cruz salad with chicken and shrimp which was the low carb recommendation. I kinda blew the low carb with the included chips and salsa which was also great. I loved this place so much I took two "to go" orders to eat later which was the chicken enchilada plate and the my FAVORITE: Laredo Special!!!! The menu its self has a Tex-Mex side for those who are in the mood. Well much of their "Mexican" food is technically classified as Tex-Mex also. The chips were nice and crisp, however the salsa was very bland and needed salt to give it any type of flavor. When we placed our order the question of which kind of tortillas we would prefer was asked. I simply replied with "Whichever tortillas are made here" in which the waitress replied "none of them are" , so we decided on flour. The food came out, I ordered the shrimp tacos and my wife the beef fajitas. It was very flavorful with nice sized portions. The reason for my 4 star review reverts back to the tortillas. White wings flour is as easy as it gets to make home made tortillas, just add water. Corn tortillas are my favorite and Maseca brand is just as easy to make as the brand listed above. If this place can find a way to make better tasting tortillas, it would be worthy of a 5 star review. read more

I'm from Galveston area, where Gringos and Jimmy Chungas tex mex are king. My daughter's live in Greensville and teach in Commerence. They like the place as does my wife, me i thought the food was bland, no spice, the cheese dip no jalopeno flavor or nacho cheese taste. The food reminded me of cabo when we visited 15 yrs ago, this is mexican not Tex mex, im part cajun i like spice and flavor. Came here for a quick lunch between my daughters basketball games. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. The prices are really reasonable. I had the lunch fajitas and my husband had the carne asada. I thought they were average. The rice and beans did not taste homemade and they need to work on their fly problem. First time there, stopping in after driving through downtown Commerce. Just before the dinner hour, take-out traffic exceeded those of us dining in. Service was prompt and the menu easy to read. Customary chips and salsa was provided but the chips were just okay and the salsa was more liquid than substance. I requested some with more spice and they provided it promptly but I was charged extra for it! My meal came out quickly and was very good! The tortillas served with it were not fresh but okay. The bill was confusing as totals were spread over two columns and expensive overall. I would not go out of my way to go back, found it a nice place to eat in Commerce but there are less expensive options just as good. read more

Absolute worst experience of my life. Ask politely for a manager after being served ice cold food im talking ice crystals in it. One of our part had a cheese allergy and asked for no cheese was served cheese on everything still i asked for charros and got refried beans. Chips and drinks stayed empty. Very politely asked for a manager a mexican man comes to our table identified himself as the manager. I explain the aituation HE ROLLED HIS EYES AND WALKED OFF! Now i was pissed. I said you do not treat customers like that. They are always right when it comes to allergies. He comes back well again thewaitstaff brought the wrong food. So im done. Well i had tasted the fajita meat it was absolutely not edible i could have chewed the table easier.
