Went on a friend's recommendation and it was a hit! The service was great and friendly when taking our order. The carnitas sandwich was delicious, as was the caramel danish. The sandwiches are huge so sharing one was perfect for 2 of us!

We came recently for lunch as I wanted to check out the new renovated spot. It is much bigger than before and has more seating area. The sandwiches are still good as before and also very filling. We ordered the Bada Bing and Beast Master to share. The sandwiches were of good size that it was a challenge to finish it in one sitting.

Bada Bing - 1/2 sandwich

First time here and was hoping the reviews were accurate. The inside is very open and you can watch the bakers, ovens and those preparing the sandwiches. The staff at the register was friendly and helpful. We ordered the 1/2 Bada bing, 1/2 Irish goodbye, Lemon berry danish, chocolate chip cookie and blueberry muffin. We got home and got started. Starting with the sandwiches- the bread was great, obviously fresh. Both sandwiches were big (for being only 1/2) and had ample fillings. Both sandwiches were great and I come back for either of them but really want to try the others they have. The three pastries were big and got were all great but the blueberry muffin was the highlight. Definitely returning.

Five Star bread! As others say, absolutely incredible bread! I've had it at other places, but a fresh sub roll here was something else! It was some of the best sandwich/hoagie/sub bread I've ever had! This large building with a bakery serves sandwiches for lunch and breakfast. It's super hot in there on a hot day, no AC. If you go at lunch, expect a wait. Staff were friendly. I've never understood chopped sandwiches, but they seem popular. I feel Every bite creates a mess of spillage due to the tiny pieces and they look ugly. Lol! The cross section picture is horrible for yelp! I got a half Bada Bing. The flavor is incredible with quite a spicy kick! Bread is top notch! You need a spoon for cleanup. I was full on the half. For $13, it felt reasonable. If you split a whole with a friend, the price is very nice.

ABSOLUTELY! what a great gem in portland! lived here my whole life and we've been needing something like this i'm glad I finally stumbled in. Great pastries and yummy sandwiches. Today was my 2nd time coming in the first time I ordered "Tu Mero Mole" really great mole not too sweet and not too smokey & the pickled onions balance the sandwich so well. Today I had. breakfast sando "D.H.P" it's DELICIOUS and I needed zero hot sauce! the chimichurri is the perfect level of spice and the thick bacon slices make it so you can taste the meat while still having everything else ho

From different pastries , to loaves of bread, to the chopped sandwich I really haven't tried anything that I didn't like. They've really nailed quite an assortment of different types of bread. Really recommend the slow braised pork shoulder sandwich. The bread is light and airy, the pork is nice and tender and the flavor combination with the pickled onions was really nice. Only thing that could have been better would be if they packed more pickled onions :) There's plenty of seating indoors and some seating outdoors. Parking is a little tricky but you can find street parking within a couple of blocks.

Beast Master

Dos Hermanos Bakery is a fun stop for a casual bite to eat. It's not your average bakery. The interior is really cool with high ceilings, functionally industrial equipment, and bustling bakers and sandwich makers. I really enjoyed the chopped style sandwich where every bite is loaded with a fair amount of ingredients. The bread had a nice bite and chew to it. The sesame baguette in particular had a nice crispy texture on the exterior. El Chimichurri sandwich, featured for sandwich week, was spicy and hearty. The Bada Bing was reminiscent of an Italian sandwich without the heavy layers of meat and cheese. I liked the crunchy chips added to the Beast Master. I honestly can't decide which sandwich I like best because they were all good! The baked sweets looked really yummy but I resisted. I will definitely be returning to try them though!

We heard so much about this bakery but was slightly disappointed with the sandwiches. Reading the reviews, I'm sad the menu didn't have the Bada Bing sandwich. We got the Italian sandwich with sesame seed baguette and Tuna Salad. The bread wasn't great, too hard for the filling in it. The salad was good. Drip coffee was okayish. It was weird we didn't get went plates for our food but just a huge packing paper around them. There were many crumbs on all the tables and we had to dust them off. Not sure why we paid a tip to bus our own table. I'd give this place another try but only for the pastries.

Stopped by for some sourdough bread for guests coming to town. Very tasty flavor. I also got a snickerdoodle which was amazing. I think this is the best snickerdoodle in Portland. I need to remember to go back for this cookie again. The only downside is there are a lot of tents in the area right now but hope that changes for their sake.

Excited to finally come but very disappointed about the seating situation. It needs to either be a place to eat and go, or order and go. There's a few tables and there's people that are their lab tops or taken forever. It's not a coffee shop or is it? Def not a place for kids, there's no room Concha's are nothing special I ordered the full sized sandwich, $20. I enjoyed it very much well 1/2. It's a chopped salad in bread. Super messy but tasty. I think it would be cool if it was like a bread bowl with a fork. Coffee and champurrado were a meh. I would just say maybe put a time limit on people sitting?

Lemon Curd Cruffin
Danvy D.

Super busy bakery! People are usually lined up first thing in the morning when they open. (5/5) Lemon Curd Cruffin - the Cruffin is flaky, fluffy, and so buttery. The curd is also perfect with the right amount of sweet and sour! (5/5) Service is quite nice, the server makes sure to get your order right and is always in a bright mood. (4/5) There's a good amount of seating inside and you buss your own tables. Will be coming again to try their sandwiches and more of their pastries!

Cobb salad, extremely salty. Had to throw it away because it was inedible due to saltiness.

I wanted to see if there is a Kmart near the area so I did a Yelp search for Kmart, this Portland Closeout store popped up. After glancing at Yelp photos, the 20 % off Yelp check in caught my eye, and the funny t-shirts, the ones on their profile pic. I asked my personal Uber driver ( my other half) to take me. You will not miss this place, there is a huge business sign and parking is available on both sides of the lot. I don't know where to begin looking, the store is clutter but it is a good clutter. There are tons and tons of stuff. Its like a one stop shop, Things you need in Chinatown and the flea market combined together. I am pretty sure you will find something you don't need but actually need here. Just like my experience here. I had fun looking around, Lets see this shop is HUGE! There are sandals, shoes, clothing for mens, womens, children, tshirts, hats, make up, hair accessories, phone accessories, even blankets. If you can't find what you are looking for, ask the owner, she is super friendly. I recall her name is Long. I had fun talking to her and she helped me find what I was looking for. As I mentioned I found 2 items that I didn't need but needed. I saw 2 hats , I didn't think I needed it but bought it for my mom and good friend. ( they both love hats!) I came to shop not looking for hats and not needing it but then I am so glad I bought them because my mom and good friend loved the hats. I also bought those funny saying shirts to give away as souvenirs. They are pretty funny! I was able to use my 20 percent Yelp check in and I am so happy to discover a new place in Portland. I noticed the blankets are cheap, they are the really soft blankets which comes in different color, prints, and even comes with a bag. I remember those blankets, during my childhood days my mom used to buy that blanket for us and I remember they cost more than what Portland Closeout sells them for. I am going to buy a blanket next time I visit. After paying for my items, Long mentioned that her husband is at the store across. Note: Portland Closeout is in 2 separate shop. The store is in front where Long's husband manage has all household items for your kitchen, home and garden which includes furniture, plants, even paintings. This store does look clutter as well, but its a good clutter!! I noticed children's bicycles out in front. This store has EVERYTHING!! Overall, I love how I discovered this place and I enjoyed my shopping experience here. I will be back. If you just moved to Portland, Please check out Portland Closeout, I guarantee you will find products for your new place and you can thank me later!! #101/100/2017

If you are a fan of this brand, you know unicorns are unique versions of bags that can't be purchased online unless you get it through a mystery sale or mystery bag purchase. It's the blind box version of bags lol. Highly coveted if you get a color you're fond of. It's very cool that the store offer these! The great thing is you'll know exactly what color you're getting, and you can feel and wear the bag before committing to it. The reason I didn't give this a 5th star is because I didn't see many "littles" that I was interested in and I also wanted a different style of belt but they didn't have any in my size. It seemed like they were under stocked. I didn't get a bag on this trip (only got a belt-which I have worn and love) but I definitely should have because I tried on a small Naomi in the store and decided when I got home that I still really wanted it and proceeded to purchase it online--with cali tax and shipping . Staff was very friendly and it was so much fun for me to go around seeing all the bags in person as someone who is visiting from out of town (no stores near me). That's not the issue. At the time, Portland Leather was running another promotion, SUNNY25, which would have given me 25% off. In their response, they acknowledged that if I had entered that code, I would have received the discount. I contacted customer service immediately after placing the order to either cancel it or have the current promotion applied. Unfortunately, there is no option to cancel an order and no customer service phone number to call, so email is the only way to reach them. Their response was that they could not make any retroactive adjustments. Instead, they offered me 600 reward points toward a future purchase. Considering they admitted I would have qualified for the 25% discount, this felt like a very inadequate resolution. Portland Leather seems to have a sale running almost constantly, which makes it feel like the sale price is their actual everyday price. I like their products, but the lack of flexibility and poor customer service left me very disappointed.
