I dragged my fiance here so I could try on a very, very specific type of dress on. I was very vague to the salesperson about what I was looking for because I was more interested to see what she'd bring over after my initial look-and-grab. She ended up bringing over a Jackie O dress and this dress blew my mind! They carry a few different versions of the Jackie O and always have the latest seasons. And you've seen this dress before, I promise you. This dress is absolutely gorgeous. Even though I went with the Jackie O, I tried on at least 20 other dresses including this amazing plum colored gown. *Insert tears streaming emoji here* I now know what it feels like to be Beyonce. Flawless. Spend some time with the staff letting them pull things off the shelves for you, as you keep putting things on they'll figure out what will look amazing on you... or perhaps everything there just has that affect because I literally didn't try on a single thing that I didn't think was absolutely, positively amazing. They have a great selection and even offer children's clothes. They did have a selection of prom dresses (or what looked like prom dresses to me... a tad more flashy and fun than the rest), but I think even those dresses were gorgeous enough for an event that requires a more formal gown. By far Nono's will always be my first stop when I want something that fits me perfectly, makes me look amazing, and is of the highest quality.

Right next to this section is the clothing (and yes they have a small men's section). The clothing is pretty organized so its easy to find what your looking for. There's no point in going in great detail about this section because this is what you would expect from a vintage shop. And down the stairs is where you'll find the art. This portion is very open, but I was told they have plans for it. And pricing is really great here, but every time I seem to go in they're having a sale so I always feel like they're just handing it to me for pennies.

They have a great selection for women and it seems as though they only purchase one in each size (small, medium and large only) for each shirt, blouse and dress. There are a few other boutiques in town with the same buying tactics and even though it's totally depressing when you find something super cute, but not in your size...I'd rather know that I won't run into 20 other chicks at the Garden with the exact same dress and it's a plus that this allow stores to bring in more mech sooner. Pricing is totally affordable. I bought a color block dress for $38, an infinity ring for $5 and a double ring for $8. And those prices are full price, so when stuff goes on sale or they have discounts I already know where I'm spending my paycheck. Did not receive a gift receipt when purchased but that is required for any type of exchange or return. Their selection is so-so and quality of clothing is average at best. I give it the low star because of the attitude of the associate while I was showing interest in returning a gift I had received. They just wouldn't have it. Their policy should just be "no returns or exchanges, ever" and they should tell you that when you are checking out. Regurdless of their policies, if you are in retail and want to be successful, think about your customer service and make an effort for repeat business. Trend Society didn't seem to be too concerned that I will never shop there agin. oh...they also charged for gift wrapping when they "wrapped" the gift in their own "Trend Society" labelled white cheap looking bag and wadded up the ugly tissue paper. The manager was pushy, and the sales associate basically gave up on me once she realized that I wasn't going to buy anything that day. I felt so overwhelmed and disappointed that I decided to wait another month or two to start looking again. About a month later, I saw a dress that Ella Blu posted on their Instagram. Between hearing my coworker's amazing experience at Ella Blu, falling in love with the dress on Instagram, AND the trunk show discount, I decided to stop by an hour before closing ON A FRIDAY to just try the dress on. Catherine was my sales associate, and I couldn't have asked for a sweeter person to help me out. She asked about our wedding and really listened to what I wanted. The showroom was beautiful, and the dressing rooms were very large and pretty! The Instagram dress wasn't for me, but the second dress they brought in was AMAZING and I was immediately sold. I finally felt like I was in a fairy tale. Since my mom wasn't with me that day, I decided to still purchase the dress and take her to "visit the dress" the next day. Catherine was such a sweetheart with my mom. My dress buying experience was totally different than I imagined that it would be, but it was WAY less stressful this way and I bought something that I really LOVED.

Called TWICE to confirm that I could bring in my dress (special ordered from…read morean overseas designer) to try on accessories to match and was told both times it would be perfectly okay, and that is would be PREFERABLE to bring it in to find the best match (they told me they confirmed with a manager). So, I booked the appointment. However, once I got there I was met by a very rude older brunette who said that I should have been told this wasn't allowed, but she went and talked to her manager and came back to say that I could, but I was not allowed to step out of the dressing room - if I had known this, I would never had booked. Then, she proceeded to be very rude the entire time and made me very uncomfortable. Finally, my party and I got fed up and just left. If you want good quality designer gowns AND good service, please, go out of town to a real high quality boutique. This was not it.
