So I hate fast fashion. 95% of my clothes, shoes, accessories, and even furniture are second hand because I'm trying real hard to not leave a large carbon footprint behind. Unfortunately it's really hard to only buy second hand and still look cute, the local thrift stores had really been disappointing me and my wardrobe has been shrinking as of late. And then I found this shop. I love it here. I spent $200 and now I have an entire new (to me) wardrobe.

Very organized little thrift shop . I like that the young ladies working dressing room don't mind letting you in the dressing room .. no eye rolling or the such. A lot of good deals on stuff that still have a lot of life in them.

Decent selection. I didn't find what I was looking for but I did find some tops for good prices.

Great selection lots to choose from. Has some name brands. Some things are a little pricey for used clothes. But check it out.

Very helpful staff and a much larger selection of good quality clothes than other second hand stores in the area.

Like them on Facebook because they occasionally take a piece of clothing or jewelry and update it. Those pieces go fast. Basically everything that's not clothing (purses, jewelry, records, I even saw a PacMan arcade game once) is right at the front. I'm always in this section too long, but I always find the coolest stuff. One of my favorite things I've found in this section so far is my super cute elephant necklace. Right next to this section is the clothing (and yes they have a small men's section). The clothing is pretty organized so its easy to find what your looking for. There's no point in going in great detail about this section because this is what you would expect from a vintage shop. And down the stairs is where you'll find the art. This portion is very open, but I was told they have plans for it. And pricing is really great here, but every time I seem to go in they're having a sale so I always feel like they're just handing it to me for pennies.

Our total came up to a little under $24 after browsing through the well stocked athletic section!!! We got so many pieces in that section alone. They have a great shoe collection as well. Tooth & Veil isn't your typical Walgreens or Target, you know, a normal and ordinary store. They offer lots of spooky attire, goodies, herbs and more. The owner (Michelle) is a believer of using natural herbs and desert plants to heal the body. If you're from El Paso or the area, you probably know what I'm talking about. I'll give you some examples. When I was a kid, my mom grew yerba buena (mint) in our front yard. She would boil it to make a warm tea for a stomach ache. My grandma often made me cinnamon tea to cure cramps. My family also uses aloe vera to help cure/heal a burn. You cut one of the branches in half. You rub the clear and gooey substance from inside on your burn/cut. It's really soothing. It also works great for a sunburn, especially the type of burn where your skin is peeling. Michelle also carries a variety of teas and even taxidermy items. Their taxidermy products are quite popular with her clients. I saw a rattlesnake, some kind of rodent and even a crocodile head. Michelle's husband told me they've encountered some friendly ghosts at their shop! Wow creepy! If you aren't in El Paso, they have a website you can check out and buy items from. If you're looking for a spooky and/or unique gift for someone, I highly recommend Tooth & Veil. You'll be amazed with the items in there. Check it out! There is something for everyone in there. Let's continue to support local!
