Shop local! And find treasures, of all kinds! I adored this shop! Something tucked into every corner, and furniture flooding the entrance, vintage finds and southwest gems. Customer service is darling, the young man Damon was able to guide us through the store and helped us out with pricing. Great items at great value. Street parking available. Will deft come back.

My finds at Estela's. About $30 for all.

The Red Door Vintage - Oddities and curiosities

If you are looking for wonderfully unusual gifts for yourself or others, The Red Vintage Door is…read morethe place to go! My daughter had been wanting to visit just to see what they had, and she had the time of her life! The owner was friendly, attentive, and shared local history about The Creature from the Black Lagoon, where the creator of the creature was born in El Paso. Highly recommended. We will be going back!

I absolutely love this place. Beyond The Red Door being your typical vintage shop, they also use…read morehalf the space as a gallery. Like them on Facebook because they occasionally take a piece of clothing or jewelry and update it. Those pieces go fast. Basically everything that's not clothing (purses, jewelry, records, I even saw a PacMan arcade game once) is right at the front. I'm always in this section too long, but I always find the coolest stuff. One of my favorite things I've found in this section so far is my super cute elephant necklace. Right next to this section is the clothing (and yes they have a small men's section). The clothing is pretty organized so its easy to find what your looking for. There's no point in going in great detail about this section because this is what you would expect from a vintage shop. And down the stairs is where you'll find the art. This portion is very open, but I was told they have plans for it. And pricing is really great here, but every time I seem to go in they're having a sale so I always feel like they're just handing it to me for pennies.

Surprise, surprise! We stumbled upon Eureka Thrift as we were taking an afternoon stroll through…read moredowntown El Paso! The outside was eye-grabbing with the sale promotion, colorful clothing sunny vibes! We were pleased to find that the purple tags were 50% off and yellow tags were 25% off. The value & selection of clothing items were satisfactory. I appreciated the extra privacy for the dressing rooms with the clamps and thick curtains. Service was great! Staff being present to help on the floor and at the counter there were other opportunities to partake in to take off additional %. Our total came up to a little under $24 after browsing through the well stocked athletic section!!! We got so many pieces in that section alone. They have a great shoe collection as well. The purse/bag section was relatively small but still great for other needs. This will definitely be a go-to spot for our clothing and accessory needs! Check out the pricing for hangers in the box (pictured)!

Clothing is arranged by size and grouped by type; the shoes and boots are amazing and there are more sweaters and coats than I expected to find in El Paso. A few words come to mind when I think of this local shop...unique, interesting, creative, creepy…read moreand weird (in a good way). Tooth & Veil isn't your typical Walgreens or Target, you know, a normal and ordinary store. They offer lots of spooky attire, goodies, herbs and more. The owner (Michelle) is a believer of using natural herbs and desert plants to heal the body. If you're from El Paso or the area, you probably know what I'm talking about. I'll give you some examples. When I was a kid, my mom grew yerba buena (mint) in our front yard. She would boil it to make a warm tea for a stomach ache. My grandma often made me cinnamon tea to cure cramps. My family also uses aloe vera to help cure/heal a burn. You cut one of the branches in half. You rub the clear and gooey substance from inside on your burn/cut. It's really soothing. It also works great for a sunburn, especially the type of burn where your skin is peeling. Michelle also carries a variety of teas and even taxidermy items. Their taxidermy products are quite popular with her clients. I saw a rattlesnake, some kind of rodent and even a crocodile head. Michelle's husband told me they've encountered some friendly ghosts at their shop! Wow creepy! If you aren't in El Paso, they have a website you can check out and buy items from. If you're looking for a spooky and/or unique gift for someone, I highly recommend Tooth & Veil. You'll be amazed with the items in there. Check it out! There is something for everyone in there. Let's continue to support local!
