I took the bus there to avoid any parking issues --Ambience-- Think of a Gamestop but will a clean interior and the game organize by consoles and knowledgeable staff willing to help you. I recommend this local gem if you are looking any retro and non-console media/gaming/ etc. --Service/Staff-- The staff knew their stuff. Friendly and energetic. I wouldn't mind spending time there to nerd out on pop culture. --Food/Products-- Wide range of media from video games (which I was interested in) to CDs to toys to many Blu-ray. It's like a Gamestop and Best buy in media selection all in one. --Capacity-- The Forbes Ave location is kind of small. I would say about 20 or so people would be crowded in the store and could make it awkward to walk around in the tight space. --Overall-- I would be back to see what new items they have in stock and see if people have traded items that I would be interested in.

The records here for the most part seem to be vintage. I didn't find a number of things I was looking for -- perhaps they were too new to be found here or a little obscure. But, I did notice that they have a very large collection of musicals and film soundtracks (the former of which I am a major fan). The rows and rows of what I think is their back stock not in the main center of the store are also a sight to behold. There are also a lot of hodgepodge bins at the front of the newest and "hottest" arrivals, as well as employee picks. I'm sure I'll be back here again. There must be 50K records in here. It is a bit overwhelming. Also, I will lastly say that the prices for the majority of items I saw while perusing are rather affordable and reasonable.

I didn't end up buying anything because I was a little overwhelmed but all the options (you could probably spend hours in there!) but it's a fantastic option and I like that they were open until midnight on Saturday!

For over a decade, my husband and I have shopped at this store off and on. During our most recent visit on a Saturday, this store had lots of customers. The selection of books and other products, of course, is much smaller than what we find online from online retailers, but it is still a decent assortment, and we often find some products to buy for moderate prices. Most recently I found lap desks that I liked for $30-60. This store also has a cafe, although I do not recall ever eating there. Overall, this Barnes & Noble is a nice place where people--both adults and children--can spend some time discovering new books, movies, music, and games. Sometimes you need to see products in person rather than online to know if you like them or not.
