I am really digging Ten dollar Tuesdays! Originally, that's what brought me in, but that was just…read morethe tip of the iceberg. Besides finding a beautiful school girl outfit for $10, I also found a beautiful unicorn outfit for only $30 and a rockin' Padme outfit that I may go back for next payday. I did not realize there were reasonably priced costume stores with good quality in this town. But there is. The manager told me they only deal with Dreamers and Leg Avenue, and both these companies have to go through quality inspections before hitting the shelves. This is a family owned business and you can feel the difference in customer care and pride immediately over the big chains. A beautiful lady named Soyla helped me in the dressing area, and I couldn't believe how helpful she was with ideas for me and even finding matching tights and petticoats. When one outfit I had my heart set on didn't work out she found something similar and even better. She treated me like a queen, and that won't be soon forgotten. Unlike some places that give you the old eye roll, I noticed this lady helps everyone in this way and never seems to tire of constant questions and demands of customers. Just superb in customer service and prices. Thank you for making my day!

Danzgear is centrally located at 281 & Bitters, a bit of a ways from an actual dance place. I think…read morethe closest one is Heimer and Cross Canyon, but don't quote me on that. I think that this place does well because it is next to Party City. I stumbled upon Danzgear and was fascinated by all of its cute gymnastics and dance attire for young girls. My daughter takes gymnastics and while I believe she should look cute, cost is important to me as well. Her gym's outfits are roughly 10% more than Danzgear. Danzgear also has super cute accessories and bags for the dancer or gymnast. I am absolutely thrilled that I found this place and when I actually decided to buy her another suit, Danzgear will be the place!

I searched everywhere online and went to 3 fabric stores in SA to find a specific fabric that I…read morefound here. They have an amazing selection and I highly recommend coming here if in need for something specific. I was in such a celebratory mood and then the rudest employee came over and rushed us. My mother and I wanted to compare fabrics. We had taken one fabric to another part of the store to put another fabric side by side. Then we started to begin discussing measurements. This employee that came over said "are you buying the material or not because if not I have to put it back for other customers". Totally understandable we were very willing to put it back, but it's not what you say it's how you say it. He picked up the fabric we had. I let him know we are totally fine putting it back, but we were planning on buying some, we were just calculating measurements. He asked if we needed help figuring it out like he wanted us to hurry up, and I said no my mom was a math teacher, then he said well I'll put it on the table and you tell me how much you need, which again we didn't know. We were trying to do the math and weren't ready, that's whole reason why we were standing there! We are doing a huge project that needed some thought we don't want to get too much or too little since this store is an hour away from us. He took the fabric to the counter when we weren't ready and unfolded it. So we then were trying to figure it out at the counter which was so awkward because then someone got behind us in line. I was like why are you rushing us!? Don't you want to help the person behind us first? I looked at the employee and he was tapping his nails on the counter like he was annoyed. The whole interaction was just so rude. I know it doesn't sound like that much written down, the attitude was just so passive aggressive. I told my mom to gather her things so we could leave and discuss outside away from this man so other customers could be taken care of first and because I don't like people disrespecting my mom I needed to get out of that situation. I understand if this employee was about to go on his lunch, but he didn't have to interrupt us at all. He could have left us alone. We would have figured out the math and came to the counter when we were ready. He could have put back the material and said come to us when you are ready. Someone else could have rung us up. But no obviously this man can't read the room, doesn't have social skills, or customer service skills. Because of this I don't care how good the store is, I will not be back.

(This review pertains exclusively to their fabric selection, although Iam aware they do great classes too) I was greeted and they chatted with me a bit, but completely allowed me to lose myself browsing, which I absolutely loved! A fantastic range of beautiful fabrics, great range of designer stuff, loads of Moda, Heather Ross, some lovely Birch lines, I think I may have spotted some Alison Glass too. They had some pretty fat quarters and bolts on sale which were very well priced and which I thoroughly availed myself of! I heard a couple of people say it was pricey while I was browsing, but I felt that the prices were very consistent with market rate, with the exception of the moda mini charms which were a little higher than I would have expected. This is an absolute dream oasis of gorgeous fabrics and I walked out with a very pleasing hual! The lady who helped me at the counter also gave me a little blue bonnets cut on the house as I was visiting from out of town and blue bonnets are the traditional Texas wildflower of choice.
