It was like walking into an episode of the American comedy 'Cheers' everybody really does know your name if you are a regular here.
Ordered a haggis cream soup with crackers as well as Guinness beef pot soup. Tasty haggis soup, as it was prepared with heavy cream that mellowed out the liver flavor.
The Guinness beef soup was well done and delicious...strong Guinness presence without the meaty taste.

Beer decently priced at 1.8-4pounds, a wee dram of whiskey about 5pounds. (Wow expensive!)
The bartender (ex-NY resident) was a lovely woman who was helpful in directing US tourist finding things to do.
Met a few local residents sharing the local gossip and giggles!

Very cool pub, honest food.
