WARNING BEWARE OF DR. ORTIZ DENTISTRY! I Visited Dr. Ortiz three years ago for a routine root canal procedure. As she was working on my root canal to my surprise, she was watching T.V. and commenting on the show with her assistant right in the middle of my root canal surgery! I was shocked, but I figured she knows what she's doing. Well, Immediately three months later the molar fell out during me chewing, So I came back to complain and she tried to deflect her bad work, on me, that it was my fault. Well she agreed to re glue the tooth, but immediately three months later the tooth fell out again! needless to say, this went on every three to six months! for three years!, Finally, I decided to switch to Dr. julian who's another dentist in that same practice, who was a bit more understanding and actually worked on another root canal procedure i needed done. In this case, her implant work didn't fall out, but i do have recurring mild pain sensations in that area. But after what I went through with Dr. Ortiz, this was doable. Dr Julian tried to fix Dr. Ortiz's work also, but the molar implant still fell out two months later! Three years passed and still frustrated and inconvenienced, and out of $1.700, not to mention having to make several appointments during the middle of my work week dreading having to appear several months to taste that nasty glue, plus being injected to numb me at times, I inquired about a refund. Because i figured "What if she retires or her business folds, then what?" she said no problem, But when I returned couple of weeks later, one of her assistants told me, because during all these procedures I wasn't charged, she cant refund me the money. During all this time I thought of suing Dr. Ortiz, but I felt uncomfortable and was hoping every visit would be my last! But that wasn't the case. So finally, a week goes by and I received a letter from her office, stating that because of the situation, she no longer can provide me service and basically denied me anymore service to my damaged tooth. And of course to my surprise the reason she dismissed my complaint was because she knew that after 2 years, the statue of limitation expires. Today 2017, Im walking around with a stump in my mouth, still no tooth, having to eat with my bad side. Buyer beware! read more
