Dr. Funk is the best dentist I have ever been to. I am a dental coward, and he is very calming and…read moreconfident. That being said, his skill level is tippy top notch. He is extremely gifted with his hand skill and knowledge. He works with Patty, and they run like a finely tuned engine. I would not go to anyone but Dr. Funk. When I go on vacation, I hate being far away from his care if needed. I am extremely grateful to have met him. Laura does my cleanings, and is absolutely perfect. Parking in the rear. I have never had an issue finding a spot. The facility is clean as well as the bathroom.

Let me start by saying the dentists and orthodontist here are amazing. Dr. Burak, the hygienist,…read moreand Dr. Feldman are all fantastic, skilled, kind, and trustworthy. My issue is not with them. My issue is with the front desk, specifically Maria, whose actions nearly cost me thousands of dollars. After my Invisalign scan, Maria told me the treatment would be $6,500 and insisted she had called my insurance. She said adults weren't covered and I'd have to pay the full amount out of pocket. She pushed CareCredit hard and told me I needed to put $3,500 on it to get 24‑month financing. I trusted her and did it. Days later, my gut told me to check my insurance myself and I discovered I do have $2,000 of adult orthodontic coverage. When I confronted her, she continued to insist she had called..... but she did NOT. I patched her into a call with my insurance company, and the agent confirmed everything I had already told her. She asked the same questions over and over, almost like she didn't want to accept the truth. When I asked for my refund so I could use my FSA card and pay the deposit of 2000 with that instead, she told me the doctor would cancel my Invisalign case, and I'd have to find another orthodontist. She also claimed my trays were already made within a few days (not possible) and gave multiple contradictory explanations about the orthodontist's schedule. She told me Dr Feldman goes to RVC once a month, which is another lie, hes there every 2 weeks. It became clear she preferred I pay out of pocket rather than use my insurance. The dishonesty, pressure, and misinformation were unacceptable and completely out of line with the quality of the clinical team. The doctors here are excellent, but the front desk experience with Maria, the billing person, was terrible and deceitful. Management needs to address this immediately.

I'm not sure whether it's kosher to review a dentist on Yelp, but here goes…read more Dr. Cuttler has been my dentist since birth (i.e. almost 30 years ago [waaah]), so I guess you could say he knows my mouth more intimately than anyone else. While I would submit that it's not fun to go to the dentist, seeing Henry is the best dental experience I could hope for. He's smart, funny, kind, and a talented professional, always injecting humor and personality into my visit. (Speaking of injecting, he's perfected this cheek-shaking method of giving you novocaine, so it's pretty painless) You have the impression that he totally knows what he's doing, and has seen-this-done-that with every other patient before. I'll also get e-mailed reminders for appointments. (Once, as a joke, he e-mailed my mom one of my x-rays and joked with her that he was holding me for ransom in his office.) The service is exceptional, my mom has been in his chair quickly and at ungodly hours when she's had a problem. The same goes for the hygenist, Cheryl, who has been cleaning me up for years, with competance and professionalism. She used to let me pick the flavor of the cleaning toothpaste (I always liked cherry, thank you very much), but unfortunately she's curtailed that since I've gotten older now. She also puts together a mean care package of floss and a toothbrush that I can take home with me in a baggie. Mmm. If you need a dentist, I can't recommend them highly enough. I don't even live on the island, but come in from NYC just to see them.

Besides Henry being a great dentist and Cheryl a great hygienist they care for their patients. I…read morerecently had a toothache and although Henry was on vacation, Cheryl told me to come to the office so she could exam it. She took an x-ray and saw that there was an abscess under a crown that needed to be taken care of right away. She contacted Henry, sent him the x-ray and he recommended several endodontists to do a root canal. Cheryl then proceeded to call to see who was available and to help make arrangements for me to see the specialist. That's going above and beyond. They are truly caring professionals!
