I actually found this place from Michelle aka @sfcheatdays, as she posted the cake for her bday! Ordering online was quick and easy and Liz will confirm your order within the next 24 hours. Once my order was confirmed, she included her address and very detailed description of where to stop on her busy street in SF. I actually had to make a change in pickup date and time and Liz was very accommodating! I had requested silver font instead of gold and she was very detail oriented asking if I wanted the topper to be coated in silver as well, since it was usually coated in gold. I appreciate she took the time to ask vs. just doing silver font and gold coating. Pickup was so easy, even though it was a busy day. She dropped off the cake on the floor of my front seat to make sure it was stable as well. Onto the taste of the cake! I ordered the Earl grey with brown sugar icing and it was soooo good! Tasted like a boba milk tea hehe! You need to take the cake out of the fridge at least 2 hours in advance of serving and we did just that. The cake was still a little chilled but so moist and fresh! We were so full after our dinner so we had so much cake left. We followed the instructions to wrap in Saran Wrap and we had delicious cake the next couple days! Also I'm so happy to be supporting an Asian AND woman-owned business in the Bay Area! I highly recommend Liz and her cakes and her customer service is on point! Jasmine asked not just about our preferences but about who were as as people and as a couple. She is extremely insightful and after listening patiently and drawing out our personalities, she came up with some awesome ideas the really felt like they represented the core of ourselves and our relationship. We learned about ourselves that day and she made us feel so seen. Once we had a design in mind we worked through size and pricing. For a wedding cake prices were in the mid thousands, which sounds expensive for a cake but we believe is an *extremely* fair price given what you get (especially considering other places in the wedding industry charge through the nose for much less). The price covers a full custom sculpture as well as the incredible design experience mentioned above, a tasting session and high-end flavor experience, and transport. Jasmine took care to work with our budget and gave us a variety of options trading size vs. amount of cake vs. number of flavors in order to get us something we were happy with at a price we were happy with. Then we got to do the flavor tasting, which was ....goodness. We tried three flavors, all of which were unique and delicious and exactly what we had described wanting to try. Jasmine was more than willing to work with us to incorporate minor changes to one of the flavors, and we ended up going with all three. Throughout the process, both Jasmine and her assistant were polite and professional. When we arrived, the cake was set up beautifully. We quite literally gasped when we saw the way the light shone through the petals. It was so perfectly us and felt like an extension of our love. It was a top 10 wedding moment. The first bite was amazing, and the flavors were just as good as we expected from the tasting. Everyone really enjoyed it. At the end of the night, we did have some trouble figuring out how to get the top (styrofoam) half of the cake home, but eventually managed to transport it carefully back. Jasmine gifts both the styrofoam portion and the cake stand to you as part of the package, and the fondant does not go bad so you can keep the sculpture forever. It now adorns our living room. Thank you so much Jasmine for this incredible experience and for memories that will last a lifetime!

Where did they get the cake suited for my taste? Jasmine Rae! When the cake came out I was convinced it was a real pineapple mounted on a plaque. I was amazed by the detail in color and shape. I could tell they got this cake from an amazing bakery. Not only did the cake look amazing, it tasted just as great. Since it was a 3D pineapple, the pieces were enormous and there was plenty left after my party of 20 had a slice. The cake was rich with chocolate, dessert wine, and strawberry preserves. By far it was the best cake I have ever received. I look forward to going to this bakery and repaying my roommates with their own Jasmine Rae original.

The opera cake had a nice delicate flavor. It is best to preorder cakes rather than risking the chance of securing one for a last minute party.
