The sales lady referred me to a tailor across the street from het shop and that was the worse thing I could have done! This is one of the best alteration shops you will find in Sante Alley. I was met at the front by a lovely kind lady and she took one of my dresses that need alteration last-minute. To my dress, she added a sleeve, slimmed the hip area, and shortened the hem length. Overall, she did an AMAZING job in a short amount of time, so I can't relate to the other people that had bad experiences here. At the same time, while I was picking up my dress, there was a line of people also waiting to pick up their clothes and I do not remember at all seeing people unpleased. I was sent here from the dress shop across , because the owner said he trusted them and had worked with them so many times . However the man who was taking our measurements for the alterations was so serious and rude throughout the whole thing. Once he finished the woman told me it would be $30 for my specific dress including the detail I wanted to keep all around the bottom of my dress and that it would take 1 1/2 hours. Well 2 hours later my dress still wasn't done , so I gave her another 30 minutes . I live far from LA and I had to be home at 5 for work , so I thanked her and left . As soon as I get home I noticed that she DIDN'T EVEN FINISH SEWING THE INSIDE OF THE DRESS! The plastic that I wanted to keep (WHICH SHE CHARGED EXTRA FOR) wasn't done all around and I was livid ! She didn't do was she said she would . I would avoid this place and look for another alternative ‍ Safe to say that I won't be coming back. 3 unstitched parts! read more

The worst place ever. STAY AWAY. She will messed up your clothes. I took my $150 dress to be tailored, I tried it on with heels when I came back it was so short. She tried saying it was my fault which baffled me because this is her profession. My dress is ruined. I regret stepping foot in this place. DO NOT GO HERE!! This shop ruined 2 new formal gowns and refused to pay for them. I bought two new formal gowns and took them both to this tailor shop for alterations. One gown was mine and the other was for mother. We both tried on the gowns and the same lady measured both gowns as they both needed to be hemmed up. The lady told us to no problem, come back in 2 hours. When we came back, dresses still were not done and then when they were ready, BOTH dresses had been cut too short and the lady blamed us for the dresses being too short. She insisted it was OUR fault that the dresses had been cut too short because we must have not been standing up straight when she measured us. Mind you.... my dress was cut 4 inches too short all the way around and my mother's dress was cut crooked and uneven. The front of my mothers dress was fine, but the back was about 3 inches too short. Additionally, when slouch and don't stand up straight, the dresses should be longer not shorter. As a professional seamstress how is it our fault that they/she cut the dresses too short???? The end result....the dresses were damaged and unwearable. Lady insisted it was our fault and that she would not pay for our dresses. She yelled at me and even have nerve to say "they are cut, too bad, nothing I can do about it now" Each dress was $150.00 and now we are now forced to buy two (2) more dresses and out the money for the first two. ($300+) SIDE NOTE: This location has a sign that says "CASH ONLY" which only leads me to believe they don't report and pay taxes on income earned. They are bad business, unethical, and clearly scammers! read more
