We ordered the spicy squid with rice and combination soon tofu with hot stone pot rice. The spicy squid was yummy, flavorful, and hit the spot. The soon tofu was a bit on the bland side compared with the Korean tofu soups I'm used to in the L.A. area. They include banchan with the food. There was kimchi, bean sprouts, and beans. Service was attentive and very friendly. The restaurant is on the smaller side, maybe 10 or so tables. Overall it was a good experience and I liked the food, but would like to try other Korean restaurants in the Toronto area.

I took the staff's recommendation and ordered the spicy chicken bibimbap, added an egg, and asked for it mildly spicy. It was absolutely perfect. The staff and owner were incredibly helpful, quick, and genuinely delightful. The owner stopped by our table, and we had a great conversation about her homemade house sauce, which was the perfect complement to the bibimbap. She told me it's made with more than 14 different fruits and no added sugar. It was fantastic. She actually reminded me of my friend's mom back in Seattle, which made the whole experience feel even more welcoming and authentic. Great food, great people, and the kind of place you're genuinely happy you found. I'll definitely be back on my next business trip. Don't miss this place!
