My experience at Dora Grace was fantastic. I live a few hours away and had traveled to the area looking for a formal dress for a wedding. The choices I was finding were very limited. I then found Dora Grace and used their online chat option to tell them what I was looking for and they had a few viable choices and invited me to come over---no appointment required. Service at the shop was fantastic and we did indeed find me a dress here. We had to order it and when it came in, inspection at the shop didn't pass up to par and they immediately got me another one on the way. I will absolutely use this shop again. I did not appreciate the attitude I was given when my friend and I arrived at this store on Thursday, July 2nd. I am a women in her 50's looking to find a wedding dress on a pretty short timeline and I did not know that the way you go about finding and purchasing a dress has changed considerably since 2001. We arrived at the store as it opened and upon entry I was looked up and down, and very rudely asked if I had an appointment (my bad, didn't really know you needed one, but I sure do now) I am sorry i didn't know the rules, but if I had been met with the least bit of customer service explaining how this dress shopping works, I would have understood and come back with an appointment. However, the tone and rudeness of the associate was so irritating I will never go back. I obviously am not the 20 something bride they are acustomed to, but what I am is a women in her 50's that won't tolerate rudeness. The dresses that I did see from the front desk did look beautiful and I sure wish I could have tried some on. Dora grace Very friendly and responsive over the phone and in person and a positive experience all around! My only negative is They called just before my appointment to ask some questions and Said they had 2 of my fave styles that they would have ready for me to try on, but when I arrived and asked about them they didn't even have them in the store and suggested I try their Windsor location. All in all they were great besides that. It's just the price of going to a larger business and dealing with different people along the way. Reece was with me for my 2 visits and was so wonderful! I ended up finding so many stunning dresses it was such a difficult decision!!! You do have to pay for an appt but that goes toward the cost of the Dress. I found my dream dress at Dora Grace and I could not be more excited! They have an amazing selection of dresses and had so many options of the specific dress style I was looking for! Ryleigh was so receptive to the style I was looking for, likes and dislikes, and asked for inspo pics before my appointment which all helped narrow down what I wanted. While trying on dresses, Ryleigh moved so quickly which allowed me to try on as many dresses as I could during the appointment! She was also so patient with my indecisiveness and invited me back for a follow up appt after I took some time to consider. Kara eventually helped me get my measurements taken and dress ordered, and she was so thorough in what to expect for pricing, ship date, alterations, etc. She also helped my mom order her mother of the bride dress directly following my appointment and took her measurements also! On a whim, I called Dora Grace for a last minute bridal dress shopping. They happened to have one open, so I went in just a couple days later -- Sarah was my stylist, and she was excellent! The right amount of kind, calming, helpful, and honest. She stayed with me as long as I needed to decide on which dress I'd walk down the aisle in... and I found it! When I came to the shop, I had a vague idea of what I wanted, but Sarah took my personality and the details I wanted and gave me a selection that blew me out of the water -- including some dresses I never would have picked but ended up loving. Prices are on the lower side of average for the quality of the dresses, too, so while it is not a "budget" store, it is still pretty reasonable and you won't be sacrificing quality for savings. read more

Fantastic bridal store! I went to 5 different stores in my bridal dress search and Dora Grace far surpassed the other shops I went into in terms of service, cleanliness, aesthetic, and selection. It was a fun and memorable experience from the moment I stepped into the door. I really appreciate that they have a large selection of dresses for any budget, and their try-on dresses are very clean unlike some of the dresses I tried on at other stores. Kara was absolutely a joy to work with - excited, encouraging, and efficient. I love that they have adorable, themed, private try-on rooms with plenty of space for anyone you may have with you. LOVED my experience here! This has been the most glamorous bridal dress shopping experience I've had. I heard that the owner recently remodeled so that now the fitting rooms are huge, and you get a full length mirror to yourself to see each of the dresses you try on. I worked with Kara who was very knowledgeable about the inventory and helpful at asking questions to help me figure out what type of dress I'd like. I recently got engaged and one of the first things to check off my to do list was the dress. I checked out Dora Grace and was impressed with the level of courteousness and professionalism the employees exude. Upon my appointment my assigned stylist sat down with me to chat about what I was looking for, my budget, and gave me some typical timelines for ordering a gown and getting alterations done. Very helpful and something to be mindful of if you have a shorter engagement or need a faster turn around. My stylist helped pick out a few gowns based off what I described as well as a few others that strayed from my description, just so I could try a few different styles. I didn't mind since dresses can look so different on your own body versus what you see online or on the rack. She also allowed me to pick out a few dresses as well. I had lots of assistance with putting on the gowns and my stylist was kind enough to take photos for me as my maid of honor lives out of state. She was super sweet and gave me a few compliments, but without ever being too intrusive or trying to sway me to any particular dress. Overall, great dress shopping experience. Although I did not the find the one here, I still recommend Dora Grace as they have a great range of styles and prices. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Dora Grace! It's the only place I went to try on wedding dresses and every dress I tried on, I loved. I booked a private appointment with Heidi and she was so great, super helpful and fun throughout the entire process. This store is super cute as well! I scheduled an appointment to go veil shopping here however when they called to confirm I was told I could bring my dress but I was NOT allowed to put it on in the store to see with the veil because if another customer saw it and liked it more than what they have in store it would make them look bad. I am appalled that just because my dress isn't from dora grace I wouldn't ve been able to try it on and see it to pick a veil that I like best based on other customers opinions. read more

I had a really great experience shopping for my dress at Dora Grace. The consultant was friendly and helpful, the selection was great, and overall we had a fun time. I ended up ordering my dress here. Unfortunately, the size that was ordered by Dora Grace had smaller measurements than the measurements that were taken of me. I was assured at the time of ordering that it could be taken out, but the seam allowances in the dress are so small that I may have to get a corset back (which I didn't want and don't like). I have since learned that it's not normal practice to size down, given that it's easier to take a dress in than let it out. Also, when the consultant noticed it wouldn't zip up, she suggested I lose weight. :/ Overall I would recommend Dora Grace, but you should probably do your own measurements beforehand and check with theirs. And insist on sizing for your largest measurement if they tell you it's fine to size down. It's not. read more

Wonderful bridal boutique and great bridal consultants ( Rachel) was professional, knowledgeable and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. Rachel took the time to find out which style of dress I was interested in pulled a few dresses she thought I may like. All which were gorgeous! I was able to pick my top 5 to try on and really relax and enjoy the experience. I never felt pressured to purchase a dress and all dresses are reasonably priced. I did have an appointment on Saturday which of course is a very busy day, but I never felt overwhelmed with the other brides and their parties. I am happy to say I did find the dress! I selected a gorgeous Stella york fit and flare for our California Lake wedding. They didn't have the sample dress in ivory, but I was able to order the dress in ivory! My measurements were taken at the time of purchase and the full payment was not required at the time of purchase which was very nice. I look forward to seeing my dress in April and working with Dora grace bridal. I would absolutely recommend this bridal boutique to any other brides in the Colorado/ Wyoming area. My consult (really wish I could remember her name but she was tall and had short brown hair) she had zero personality, was very transactional and not very friendly, seemed like I was bothering her during my try on. Wasn't happy that I wanted a Maggie S dress and she wasnt bringing those to me to try on. Was offered no water, snacks, champs. Not a whole lots of questions on what I wanted in a dress or tell my story. Didn't feel the warm and fuzzy here. I really thought dress shopping would be this grand experience and bridal shops would make it very special. Didn't get that here. Wasn't impressed. Will not be back or recommend. read more

I didn't even make it past the appointment scheduling process. Due to COVID, my wedding plans got put on hold and everything is up in the air. We're actually already married and are just going to do a party later. I've been super back and forth on even having a wedding with everything going on, but it would break my heart not to do at least something to celebrate our future together.. On the questionnaire when they asked when my date was, I just put a far out one for 2024 because I truly don't know. The lady called me back and told me that maybe I shouldn't look because styles go out. Me: "Oh come on that's no fun! I want to try dresses on and find out what I like." I've only been once. Her: "I know, but we just don't want you to fall in love with something that you can't buy." I get where she is coming from, but it just broke me. My wedding got canceled and I may not even get one now because of finances. All I want is the dream and the experience. This year has been dreadful and I just want to forget about it for a moment and try on pretty dresses with me friends and feel like a princess for a little bit. I recently had two appointments with Micah to find my wedding dress. The whole experience was perfect. The shop was beautiful, I was allowed to walk around and choose whatever dresses I wanted to try on (unlike some other chain places in the area), and was able to try on more dresses than I can count. The first appointment was 2 hours long, and the second was one hour to go back and try on my favorites. I ended up trying something new at the second appointment that I fell so much in love with I bought it on the spot. Micah picked out dresses for me that fit my style and didn't try to get me into anything I knew I didn't want. She knew a lot about the dresses and gave me her honest opinion when asked. They really dropped the ball in providing the tuxedos for my sons wedding. They never showed up and then 2 hours before the wedding we were scrambling to find jeans and suit jackets for all 8 men to wear. Boot barn and Men's warehouse in Fort Collins came through with a quick solution! They were amazing! Dora Grace Bridal offered no solutions, wanted to argue that the suits would be there by 3 ( that's when the wedding started) the stress, last minute expense, avoiding phone calls and all communication. After owning a bridal shop for over a decade back in the 80's I was pleased to find this treasure of a bridal boutique in Ft. Collins! The owner, Hannah, was incredible to work with and dealt with every issue this, crazy, Mother-of-the-Bride came up with! My daughter's dress was BEAUTIFUL, fit perfectly and was exactly what she had always dreamt for! IF YOU PLAN ON SHOPPING HERE MEASURE YOURSELF FIRST AND THEN COMPARE WHEN THE LADIES AT DORA GRACE MEASURE YOU. I have talked to so many brides and even see reviews on here of brides who got their dress way too big! I hadnt lost any weight and my bust area was ordered huge, so I did the alterations to fix it. I paid $1000 for the dress and then nearly $700 on my alterations just to get the dang thing to fit. First alterations appt I cried because they clearly measured me wrong. I will admit she fixed it and it looked beautiful for my wedding but like ?????? An extr $700 ??? I'm pretty sure they make a profit off of alterations because they tell you to go through they're alteration people and when you tell them you have someone else to do it, there is a lot of push back. Overall bad experience. They don't care about the bride. They care about making a quick buck. If you're considering going somewhere else, do, and still measure yourself first. read more

Wow, my experience here was incredible and I said yes to the dress! Kathy was incredible, very sweet and professional. I am a plus size bride and was really worried about finding something beautiful in my size. I was fully expecting to be let down and for the dress hunt to be a long, emotional process. Kathy was very helpful and calming. She never mentioned size or made me feel anything other than beautiful. The first dress I tried on was so stunning, my future mother in law and my sister instantly started crying and I felt like a goddess. My confidence soared and I instantly relaxed and had fun. We had another appointment that day, but returned to Dora Grace shortly afterwards. The bar was set so high and the dresses are very affordable. Let's break this down into two different reviews: 1. Bridal gown- The women who work in the bridal gown section of this store are severely lacking. They ordered my dress literally 3-4 sizes too large and then wanted me to pay to get it taken in (which would have cost over $300!!!). If this was a store that didn't primarily sell wedding gowns, I might be giving them more slack....BUT THIS IS WHAT THEY DO!!! They sell wedding gowns! If they make a mistake, they should fix that mistake!! I am so disappointed and will continue to relay this info to any and all brides. For my wedding dress, Dora Grace gets a 1/5. 2. Men's Tux's- The one woman who deals with tuxes for men is really good at her job. She was a lot easier to work with than Men's Warehouse and I wish we had gotten all of the groomsmen attire from her, instead of doing just the dads. For tuxes, Dora Grace gets a 5/5 (go figure). read more

I'll start this by saying, I came into this appointment feeling very defeated. I had already bought a dress that my family loved and I HATED - it was a horrible experience, so I was already on the defensive when I walked in. My consultant, Kaitlyn, immediately went into damage control mode and it showed. She spent time understanding what I didn't like about my first the dress and what I was hoping to find in my new dress. We both spent some time picking out dresses and of course, she picked the winner. Honestly, it was perfect. She knew what I wanted even without me vocalizing it. I think it's also important to note that I am plus size, so that in itself presents a few challenges when trying on wedding dresses. The shop itself has plenty of plus size options but also a lot of "normal" sizes that we could clip me in to. Kaitlyn made me feel at ease and confident in myself to the point where I was actively enjoying myself. She was not pushy and I could tell she genuinely wanted to help me find something I loved. Although I didn't catch the names of the other girls working, they were all incredibly friendly and helpful. If you get a chance to work with Kaitlyn, I highly recommend it but I don't think you could go wrong with anyone there. Dora Grace erased a horrible dress memory and replaced it with something much better than I expected. read more

I found my dress here and the girls working were SO helpful. They pulled a bunch of dresses in the styles that I liked, and were so skilled at getting me clipped in. I am a small, so the dresses were always huge on me. They'd talk to me about what I liked and didn't and got very quick reads on whether or not I was excited about something. They were not pushy, and gave me my space to walk around and really give the dresses a good 'feel'. I thought they were really easy to work with, and I found the dress I loved,! I left to think about it, and went back that afternoon to get it. They truly were a dream to work with! Plus the shop is so cute and they have a great selection of dresses! read more

The employees here are SO nice. However, I didn't end up purchasing my bridal gown here, which I am thankful for now. I did order my niece's junior bridesmaid gowns here and I was disappointed. The employees clearly don't have experience in measuring kids, which they admit. The dresses that were supposed to be slightly big on my nieces were actually too small and the seamstress at Dora Grace told me how easy it would be to modify. Wrong. I went to a seamstress recommended by Dora Grace who had to modify multiple parts of the dresses in order for them to fit properly. I spent as much on alterations as I spent on the dresses and Dora Grace made no efforts to amend that issue. I gave 2 stars because we were happy with my adult bridesmaid gowns. read more

OVERALL Do not go to this bridal shop. Typically, you go to a bridal shop to feel secure (both money-wise and size-wise) in your expensive purchase. At Dora Grace, they do not consider your own opinions when it comes to sizing, ordering, and purchasing a dress (whether bridal or bridesmaid). Their staff is unprofessional and does not communicate with each other or with their clients. The people who size you do NOT know what they are doing, resulting in wrong size measurements. After you order the dress in the wrong size because you relied on the size measurements, Dora Grace will say you gained weight and will not refund your dress, even when you don't gain weight. Very unprofessional shop. Do not spend your money here. SIZING The person who does sizing does a terrible job. They do not know how to measure waist, bust, or hips correctly. If they measure you, do NOT take their word for it because if you order the dress based on the size they measured, and the dress comes back not fitting, Dora Grace will say YOU gained weight. Dora Grace, instead of being sympathetic about their measurements being incorrect, will instead say you gained weight and it is your fault. Even if you have not gained ANY weight, they will blame you and not exchange your dress. GROUP PRICING You would think that if there was a group of 8 bridesmaids who ordered at LEAST one dress would fit. After being sized incorrectly, not one bridesmaid's dress fit. Instead of taking responsibility for this issue, Dora Grace blamed the group for either gaining weight or for not "speaking up" if the sizes were wrong. Do not trust the sizing charts and do not trust group pricing. REFUNDS Do not order from Dora Grace Bridal if you are worried about a refund or exchange. If you are afraid any issue may happen within the dress or if you want your voice to be heard, DO NOT ORDER A DRESS FROM DORA GRACE because they will not refund or exchange your dress. CUSTOMER SERVICE There is a lack of communication at Dora Grace Bridal. The manager and the workers provide different and conflicting information, and then blame the client (you) for the discrepancy. Do not go to Dora Grace Bridal for a bridal dress or for a bridesmaid dress. read more

NONE of the dresses I loved did they have "in stock" and I overheard them telling other brides that they wouldn't have theirs in either. I am a bridesmaid for my best friends wedding and I was appalled by the experience we had. No matter who you speak to at the establishment you get a different answer and excuse as to your problem. All they do is blame it on the bride and IT WAS NOT THE BRIDES FAULT! I spoke to someone MONTHS prior to ordering my dress and the associate told me I could wait until June to place my dress order and there would be no issues with the order. (I was loosing a good amount of weight and wanted to wait to order my dress until my size was more constant) I arrived on June 1st with the bride to get sized and the establishment was making us concerned that my dress wouldn't be in on time now. I was mad but they said there was nothing they could do about it unless I paid for expedited shipping. I was frustrated but I paid the $40 and was assured the dress would be in 1 week prior to the other bridesmaids. The other bridesmaids got their dresses over a week before mine. This company added so much stress to this process and I would recommend other bridal parties to choose a different establishment. If I could I would give a zero star reference! read more

Update to my previous review. I had a great experience with Emilee and Riley while shopping for my bridal dress. They were wonderful and helpful! However, my issue came when trying on bridesmaid dresses. Our consultant was Kara. I called ahead because one of my bridesmaids is plus size, and I was assured the specific dresses I asked about would be available for her to try on. When we arrived, one of the dresses was only available to try 6 sizes below my bridesmaid's size and she was made to "try to fit into it and get the general idea". Not only that, the consultant kept bringing out more dresses that looked nothing like what I had picked out. Even after my bridesmaid outright saying she was uncomfortable trying some of them and me, the bride, saying we just wanted to stick with the 3 I initially chose, we were pressured to keep trying on random things. Not only that, AFTER I had made a final choice on the dress, when said bridesmaid went in to have her measurements taken, the same consultant had her trying on other things again without me there. It left her feeling self conscious, and me disrespected. I can only hope all the dresses arrive as promised, at this point I don't have much faith. If you or a member of your bridal party is plus sized, look elsewhere. I wish I had! read more

I am so, so grateful that we chose Dora Grace to get my wedding dress! We actually found the dress at a different boutique closer to where I live near the Denver area. However, I didn't feel comfortable with the boutique so we searched for the dress and found out that Dora Grace had it. They were great from the start and throughout the process have been amazing! The dress designer was supposed to do a custom hem but when it came in, it was definitely way off. They made sure that we wouldn't pay for the hem to be done in alterations and did everything they had to to make that right. We ended up needing other alterations to get fixed and Hannah, the owner, even stayed way past closing to help and to make sure that everything was perfect. The seamstresses have been so kind and helpful and everyone at the store is so friendly. We are so appreciative of their help and kindness through it all! I have had to make several trips to the store from Denver for fittings because my dress is kind of a difficult one to alter. It's a long drive but honestly, if I had to do it again, I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

I loved this boutique! I found my dress there right away and was catered to the whole time. Unfortunately the wrong dress was sent by the manufacturer and Dora Grace made sure to get the right one in on time- they also paid for the hem and for storage of my dress which was very helpful. By the end of the experience the girls knew me by name and the experience felt very personable. They have a HUGE selection of gorgeous gowns and their prices are reasonable. I would highly suggest going to Dora Grace if you are looking for a wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, etc. When I went in to look for dresses, the two girls that I was working with asked what my budget was, what type of gown I was looking for, when my wedding date was, and seemed genuinely interested in my wedding. I was never pressured to look at any dresses I didn't want to look at or that were out of my budget. I found one myself that was about $600 more than what I wanted to spend and the consultant kindly stated that she didn't want me to fall in love with something that was outside of my budget. I appreciated this statement but tried on the dress anyways (I didn't end up falling in love with it). I also got my bridesmaid dresses, my moms dress, and my husband's mom's dress there as well. Before going to Dora Grace's I went to one other store and left feeling really discouraged. I was a little nervous to try another place thinking I was going to have another horrible experience, but as soon as I walked in I could tell wedding dress shopping was going to be fun again.
