Can't give this business enough stars! I had gone to a few places locally to try on dresses and did not have positive experiences, especially as a gal looking for an off the rack dress for an outdoor adventure elopement. Additionally, I wanted more a more timeless and simple dress which had been difficult to find. At other stores I felt rushed and treated less than (I think because I was clear on my budget preferences which was mostly limited to off the rack). We got champagne and the entire store to ourselves. I picked gowns as well as my party. The consultant was so attentive and already had a dress or two picked out before I got there because I filled out a survey of what I wanted. I found the gown of my dreams and it was hard to pick because there were two more I loved just as much!! And it was so affordable, it was on sale as a sample dress!! Encore Bridal provided a great wedding dress shopping experience! I went on a weekday mid morning and it made the appointment extra nice since I was the only bride in the store. I had Marissa as my stylist, she was enthusiastic and super friendly. She made me me feel right at ease and actually listened to what I was interested in having in a dress. I came alone since this was one of my first wedding dress appointments. Marissa was kind enough to take photos so I could send to my maid of honor who lives in New York. Marissa's energy and enthusiasm was contagious and made me super excited to try different dresses. I also enjoyed getting to hear her own thoughts and input about each dress I tried on. I truly felt I got special and individualized attention at my appointment. Encore has some big, princess ballgown styles to vintage column style to mermaid style and classic a-line as well as beaded, lace, satin dresses. Lots of different options to reflect different tastes. I believe they have dresses for $1600 or less, so good price options if you don't want to spend too much on a dress. They have an upstairs of discontinued and sample dresses, so also a good option for smaller budgets or if you have a tight timeline. I also think it's great they put a mirror by the front window upstairs so the natural lighting can hit you just right.I feel more bridal salons need to have their mirrors by windows to get nice, natural light. I did not find my dream dress here but enjoyed the experience and think it is worth a stop on your dress journey! read more

If you're looking for a dream dress for your dream wedding you may find it here then have those dreams completely crushed!!!! This place is an absolute joke! Went in the first time to look at dresses and found one I was absolutely in love with, let the girls know that I would return with my family in a month or so to purchase it. Before I made the appointment for the final try on and to purchase it I called the store to verify and let them know my plan, to try on the dress one more time and then purchase it whoever I talked to said ok just make your appointment on line and so I did. Fast forward to the day of the appointment when I got to the store they couldn't seem to find my dress in their system and were a little confused. Come to find out, my dress had been discontinued and they didn't seem to think it was a good idea to let me know before hand. So, at this point I'm pretty upset but still wanting the dress. I'm trying to work with the owner to see what she can do for me and this is where things get worse. Jessica, the owner is the most rude person I've ever had to deal with. I think she maybe said sorry 2ce the whole time. She was completely unapologetic and rude. She didn't have any compassion that I had family that drove into town from 6 hours away for this try-on and fitting. Every time I attempted to explain my situation she kept interrupting me. Now, she did offer me a whole 25% off of the dress and I probably would of still ordered it from her if she wasn't so nasty!! I understand things happen but I don't understand how someone runs a business being that rude!! I'm tellin ya ladies go somewhere else for your dress!! Oh! I also want to mention that when I asked for water they offered me a cup and to fill it from the bathroom sink!! What kind of luxurious feeling is that? Not something I would expect from a bridal store. They did end up finding a mini water bottle to offer that was just sitting under their desk. I cannot say enough positive things about Encore Bridal. The ladies that work here are all lovely and never made my feel self conscious even though I had a very small budget. Michelle was so helpful and lovely and picked a dress for me to try on I NEVER would have thought I would like- and I ended up buying it! I went into Encore expecting an amazing experience and left very disappointed. I went to many bridal shops and I left this place without trying my last two dresses because me and my family felt so unwelcome. I wasn't asked what I was looking for at all, I was told to hang the sample gowns myself after trying them (any other dress shop takes the gown from you) and more than twice when I said I was ready to have a dress zipped and clipped my stylist was nowhere to be found. I poked my head out each time and she was busy putting the gowns back on the rack. There was no one else in the shop. No rush to put the gown back on the sales floor when I am the only appointment in the boutique. Overall the experience seemed fake and unprofessional. The stylist bit my MIL's head off for grabbing a dress off the rack, she did ask that we did not grab gowns off the rack but my MIL missed that portion and didn't deserve to be treated so poorly. It seems strange to me that it was such a big deal to pull sample dresses but brides are expected to hang gowns themselves. Above all the stylist should remain professional and polite to customers at all times. There is a nice way to remind someone to not pull dresses themselves. The worst part, once I got to the point the vibes were pushing me out the store, I watched the stylist change her whole attitude and she asked to hug me twice. It was so awkward and unprofessional. I would also suggest having a dress code for your stylists. They should look professional. read more

The owner is terrific. I am an older bride and was early in my wedding dress shopping when I scheduled an appointment at Encore. After trying on 3-4 dresses it was clear that their selection was not going to work for me and that it suited a younger bride. Despite knowing I was not going to purchase a dress from her, the owner proceeded to sit down with me at the computer and provide me with her recommendations on the designers I might want to consider. She also recommended other shops in Denver where I would likely have more luck finding a dress. I was able to find a great dress based on one of her suggestions. When you make an appointment here, be sure to call back and confirm it ESPECIALLY if they try to talk you out of making a weekday time due to "generally low traffic" in the store. I wouldn't wish my experience on anyone. I had the pleasure of the two associates whisper arguing within earshot of my dressing room whether or not they thought I was actually a walk in when their hour-later appointment showed up with the same name and their computer system seemed to have "messed everything up"... Somehow they didn't think to ask my mother or friend who had come with me. Subsequently, they left me hanging in the dressing room, while not bother letting me or my shopping companions know that associate one had passed me onto the other associate while she took a late afternoon lunch break. Icing on the cake was the first associate didn't bother filling in that other associate on where I was at in trying to find a good fit with their inventory. On our way out the door I did get handed a blue sparkly "I do" decal thing I could put of the bottom of whichever wedding shoes I get. Their inventory is rather flashy and fun, though everything seems to be size 10 and up, even on consignment. read more

This is the first review I have ever written for a store but my experience was so horrible, I just had to let people know not to go here!!!! My friend and I went into this shop and at first was very impressed by it and the variety of dresses they had. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding and when the owner ordered my dress, she ordered it 2 sizes too big and ordered another one of the bridesmaids in the wedding 1 size too small. They were the correct sizes on the contract when the bride signed it. When they arrived and we noticed they were not the sizes we ordered on the contract, the owner was unwilling to get us the correct sizes or refund our money or make it right in any way. As it turned out, I had to pay over $200 to get my dress taken in because it was so large on me and the other bridesmaid had to wear hers a size too small and almost passed out at the wedding because she couldn't breathe in the dress!! If you want to avoid a lot of headache, please do not go to this bridal shop!! There are so many more unprofessional things the owner said and did to us, but I do not want to go on and on. read more

First store for bridal shopping, and I found THE dress. Kailee was so helpful and always close by to pull dresses in and out of my dressing area. She was attentive but not pushy, patient and encouraging! When dresses didn't work, she was quickly able to retune my needs and pull dresses that were more in line with my vision. I came in with a completely different style in mind, but that style ended up not being right for me. Kailee helped guide me to the dress of my dreams (I felt so feminine yet sexy in this dress!) and after taking a few days to consider, I officially said yes to the dress from Encore Bridal! The whole experience was very enjoyable and fun, the way it should be! They have the store organized by price which is helpful (even though Im ending up over budget by a few $$). Let me start by saying that I found my dress here and I love it. It was just a little outside my budget, but totally worth it. The experience was good, but not great. I like that they have you fill out a questionnaire before you arrive with your budget and what you like in a dress. I was pretty vague in mine because I hadn't tried any dresses on yet and didn't know what would look good on me. Within a few dresses, Jessica was honing in on what styles and details I liked and pulling dresses that were getting better and better until we found the one. The reason I took a few stars off is that I had originally come to look at consignment dresses and the selection was not very good and many of the dresses had minor damage (pulled tulle) or dirty hems/makeup stains. I don't expect consignment dresses to be in perfect condition, but the cleaning job wasn't great and dresses priced $1000 new were consigned for $700, which given the condition of the dresses, doesn't seem like a great deal. Jessica was very helpful in pulling dresses, but she did leave me alone to figure out how to get into them, which wasn't always easy and was the only one working at the store, so had to leave and answer the phone or assist people in the store periodically. read more
