We just bought an old farm house out off Boundaries Rd in Thornville Ohio that has a very old fuel oil burning furnace. Of course it works fine until the temperatures dropped to sub zero temps and the old dinosaur decides to stop working. The amazing staff at Dor Mar came out serviced it and we were up and running again for about 12 hrs that is. The dinosaur decided to go out completely the next night about 10pm and to boot my firefighter husband was working a 24hr shift. Myself and my two young daughters were home alone getting colder by the minute. After notifying my hubby about our situation and one phone call to Dor Mar a very polite service tech arrived at 1130pm...I couldn't believe they came out that late and all the way to country ville. The pump had gone out of the dinosaur and nothing could be done and then the most kindest caring service happened. The tech left drove all the back to the shop grabbed a bunch of space heaters and brought them all the way back to country ville set them up and made sure they were safe and warming my house. They ordered the pump and had our dinosaur nightmare over within a couple days leaving the space heaters for our use free of charge then entire time. On top of that the customer service, tech service, and timely manner of repair was top notch. We just received the invoice and they even gave us a discount without having a coupon or even asking about a discount. I will forever be grateful to this company and the caring service they provided. We have had our water heater, furnace & air conditioner replaced this past summer -- all at once -- a triple whammy! The work crew (Steve) that was sent here did an excellent job -- from scheduling the work (calling for best times for US, delivery of materials, etc.); removal of the each & replacing with new. Everything was done very efficiently -- quietly & cleanly. They were courteous & knowledgeable -- instructing me on furnace & water heater "101". With such an initial expense, we were offered the10 year "Parts & Labor" and 5 year "Maintenance" plans. When our maintenance time had approached, we were again notified of their arrival, which was February 14, 2018. Chris informed us as to what he had done. He was very knowledgeable as to what we may need repaired in the future (possibly a new well pump ?). They installed a new furnace and I signed the contract with 85,000BTU high efficient one. Without letting me informed, they installed 70,000BTU instead. I was not aware of this until a inspector (Kim) came to check the installation and let me know it is 70,000BTU Not 85,000BTU which was written on the contract. Kim was very nice and professional enough to have two installers come in at 8:00AM next morning to replace the furnace with 85,000BTU. It was below zero weather with snow on the ground, but they came out on time and finished the installation.I have a mixed feeling about the company itself. They could have done the job in the first place if they communicated with me throughout the first installation. Their post-installation inspection system was wonderful and I do appreciate Kim, Brad and Ben for all the trouble they went through to fix my issue. read more

These guys were AWESOME. Came to the house, sat down with us, (Thomas and Kim) and gave us options, Different $ ranges for a NEW AC unit.(We had no choice, ours was old and fried) We agreed on a price/product.($500. less than our 1st estimate). They were on site as scheduled, quiet, polite, even wore booties over their shoes in the house. Replaced EVERTHING. AC unit, wires, tubes, gas lines, thermostat. Even an "outside" breaker for when we need to shut of and clean for Fall/Winter cover-up. Installation techs....Dan and Randy GREAT JOB. For the neigh Sayers.. don't blame ANY company you call for "YOUR HOUSE" having "old" wiring. (BTW my house is 100 yrs old) and call on a WEEK-END...That's not going to be cheap ANYWHERE. Two weeks ago we had to have a new furnace, and while the technicians were installing it, they discovered our hot water heater had a leak. By noon that very same day there was a new hot water tank and two more installers to set it up. All of the installers stayed until they were satisfied that everything was working just fine. Last week it had been set up to clean the ducts and have the furnace inspected. Doug, the cleaner was great, explaining everything he was doing, He did scare the four Yorkie puppies, but that was just because of the noise, and they are fine. Doug, the inspector, was a star. He made some adjustments, explaining everything he was doing. We are extremely happy with Dor Mar, and would recommend them to all of our friends. As temperatures started to rise over the past month. My wife and I noticed that our A/C wasn't working properly and not maintaining the intended temperature it was set for. Called Dor-Mar over a weekend gave me a date of Tuesday. Seeing how we still had air at this point we were okay with it being Tuesday before they got out. Ron, the tech that came was VERY informative about my current situation and basically walked me through what was going on. After only a couple minutes, he found out the problem which was obvious to him at this point. Told me about the solution, and for the time being helped check out the rest of my system. We were provided excellent customer service from the service tech (Rick) who came out to look at our air conditioner. All our questions were answered and everything was explained in a way that we were able to understand. We were told exactly what was wrong with our old air conditioner and the different options of either fixing it or replacing it. No pressure. The instillation team arrived promptly, Chris (and another tech) when they said they would and even sent a photo for added security. I work from home so I was worried about distractions and background noise. I hardly ever heard them. Everything was cleaned up before they left. A very professional team. Gotta say, I have never had a problem with Dor-Mar. I had a hot water tank placed in my home Feb., 2021, during the Pandemic. Recently the pilot light went out 3x during Memorial Day Weekend. Dor-Mar was out the next Tuesday, and replaced the pilot light unit (3rd party Chinese parts during pandemic) within a few hours. No charge! All Good! - A/C went out right after being checked in May also. I sweated out a week without a/c during the past 90* weather, but they replaced my 12-yr-old a/c and even gave me a deal for being a 35-yr-plus customer. I LOVE the folks that work there, and I believe they are hard workers that deserve accolades! So sorry you had a bad experiences! read more

After contacting and explaining what I wanted a salesman met with me in my home...After about an hour of talking and measuring a decision was made on the furnace to install...On the day of installation I was called about 20-30 min before arrival. Greg and his helper arrived..Both were very polite and professional..Explained what was going to happen and then proceeded to do the job..They worked diligently all day and stayed until the job was completed ..When they competed the work they did a fantastic job of cleaning up no mess or materials were left behind. Our heat pump for the air conditioner went out in the middle of our family reunion last summer. It was 80 + degrees. Our previous HVAC provider made an emergency visit and pronounced out heat pump dead. Said they could not do anything for a month. We called Dor Mar. They came out and replaced the heat pump with an air conditioner. Later we had them replace our 20 year old furnace.
