We had them out to do a small project for us. First their quote was very reasonable, cheaper than a different quote we got. The guys that came out to estimate answered all of my questions and seemed more knowledgeable than what we compared against. The day we had our work done (which was just a few days later) we ran into a few logistical issues (no fault on their end just a tricky layout). We were having problems with our outdoor outlets. Very impressed that they sent three techs out to troubleshoot. Was a bit perplexing but they quickly identified the problem in the circuit that was a GFCI outlet in the garage and replaced it immediately. The cost of the initial service seemed pricey at first but it turned out to be a very good value given how quickly the problem was resolved. I'd absolutely recommend and use again. read more

I experienced partial power loss at my house and after checking and resetting the breakers, I was still having issues. I reached Bradley Electric and Rob Hall provided prompt and professional advice. He quoted me rates for electrical troubleshooting and availability to get on their schedule. When I called back (before starting hours mind you) to see if I could get on the schedule, Rob answered my call and gave me some great advice. He advised me to reach out to my electric provider first since it was a partial power loss. He suspected there might be trouble on the line and told me that the provider would check for free. I submitted an outage request to my provider and the issue turned out to be trouble on my line. Bradley Electric and especially Rob Hall impressed me greatly. They never met me, but were willing to help me find a solution even if it didn't mean money in their pocket. If I need an electrician in the future, Bradley Electric will be my first call. I called them when I was having an electrical problem. Instead of charging me a bunch of money for something that was a problem with the incoming service, not my in home electrical system, they recommended I call AEP (who came out and fixed my problem). Then they offered to come out if it couldn't be fixed, and give me an estimate for the work without charging me. That wasn't needed, but knowing they are so professional will make it easy to call on when I need an electrician. read more

I called for an appointment after some breakers tripped on my electrical panel and would not reset. They made an appointment but also volunteered that I might be able to reset the circuits myself and told me what to try. I followed their directions and was delighted when it worked. We hired Bradley Electric in October to put motion lights outside of our home. We loved the staff and the service so much, they are on our calendar for this Friday for more work. We picked up a treadmill and it's in the garage in our home-made gym. Problem is the home is so old (built in '87) you can't run too fast or too steep without blowing a fuse. :) So Bradley Electric is coming out to install two more plugs in the garage so we can operate more efficiently without shutting the house down. :). These guys are so good. We got a quote on 12/22 and reached out on 12/23 seeking to schedule the job. They called on Christmas Eve. I had no idea they would be still working. Took a little bit of a break and back at it again. Earliest opening they had for us was the 8th and there's a reason for it - they are the best. Huge fans! read more

This company was wonderful! Cable guy said our internet problem was burned electrical wires that were interfering with the cable. That put me in a panic as I was to out of town in 3 days, afraid I'd come back to a burned down house! Rob got someone out the day I called and the electrician said my wiring was well done and there was no evidence of burned wires. While he was there he addressed some minor issues I had. The were very professional and super nice guys who quickly determined and fixed the problem- no expensive replacement needed. Repair cost was reasonable and they came quickly. We had them install a whole house surge suppressor. They arrived on time as promised and completed the job within an hour and cleaned up what little mess there was. Tyler and the team are great- the real deal. We hired them more than a year ago to do a large job including a new breaker box, and since I hadn't needed that type of work before, I did originally wince at the price. But they brought in a big team and got the job done quickly. They followed up, answering any questions we had and fixing a small thing that we needed done after the big job. Well, more than a year later I'm going to tell you that they stand behind their work. We had some issues due to power fluctuations in our neighborhood recently, and Bradley Electric stood by their work and helped us through the process of getting things fixed up again (ultimately it wasn't their fault but they helped us through the whole process of figuring it out and getting it fixed). They were punctual and efficient, and they know their stuff. I will also say that everyone who goes into our basement and knows what's up with electrical wiring (i.e. not me) has spontaneously commented on how gorgeous our breaker box is and how nicely it's set up. I didn't even know that was a thing (good looking breaker boxes), but apparently it looks awesome and well-organized (and is awesome and well organized). When you're hiring professionals to do something you know nothing about and you're investing a lot of money in it (like I did), you want it to be done right. We're glad we chose Bradley. read more

I highly recommend Bradley Electric! They came out to do an estimate to replace a circuit panel and bring wiring in our "very old" house up to code. The estimate only took 10-15 minutes they and sent a detailed estimate quickly (I think it was the next day). Their estimate was slightly higher than some of the other electricians we contacted but I was really impressed with their customer service and decided to give them the business. The techs who did our work arrived on time and finished a 7 hour job 30 minutes ahead of schedule. They were friendly, efficient, and overall did a great job! Bradley Electric was one of 4 electrician groups we had to come out to give us an estimate on changing our electical service to a 200 amp service. We had just purchased and moved into an old home which had been piece-meal remodeled over the years. They also gave us an estimate on connecting smoke alarms (wiring in all smokes versus using devices that communicate remotely that only require 1 to be wired in - this was their idea). They were the only group to offer the idea of wireless connected smoke detectors - the other groups we asked either had never heard of those or only provided us quotes for the wiring in (which were very costly because of the way our home had been remodeled in the past). They were the best estimate - and frankly, I trusted Tyler the most of all the folks who came out to provide us with an estimate. He was easy to talk to, discussed different ideas, and talked to me several times after we received the estimate to clarify questions I had. They were flexible setting up the date for our service change. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. We had ripped out some drywalling to expose a BIG MESS of wires that needed clean-up. This was an add-on to the prior estimate - and they included this in their day of work, and came back on a 2nd day to finish that part up. I'm very pleased with their work. All the guys who worked at our house seemed to know what they were doing, were happy to answer questions and go the extra mile. I am so embarrassed to admit this, but I booked Bradley Electric for an appraisal for a job, ended up not needing them, and then forgot to cancel (terrible, right?!). The nice electric man came to my house on time, waited for me and then politely called to tell me he was at my house. Of course I was embarrassed and also completely panicked because I was not even home. After apologizing profusely, I offered to pay for the appraisal and for his time. The serviceman declined and just simply said, "I hope that you will use us next time". Seriously?! Who does that?! Most people would have said some rather ugly things to me for wasting their time and then would have quickly jumped on the chance to make a buck off me. While writing this reviewer , I realize I didn't actually end up using their services, but I can tell you that these guys are honest, kind and they are the kind of people you want to work with. read more

Bradley Electric advertised 2 hours of electric work for $199 and has a coupon for $20 off any service call. I called them to fix low voltage lights and replace the transformer. They sent out two guys who didn't know how to work on low voltage, were at my home less than 30 minutes. Fixed nothing. Said the boss would have to come out to give me an estimate. They charged my credit card $179 and I never heard from them again. I called Bradley Electric and was told they were sorry they dropped the ball but wouldn't give me and estimate or give me my money back. I feel they are a fraud and have stolen from me. read more

I had a repairman from Bradley out to repair some switched outlets that weren't working. First he did not call to let me know he was coming as had been promised. He did repair the switches (said they were wired wrong which doesn't really explain why they worked for the first year I was in the house - hope the repair lasts). This initial repair took about 5 minutes. Because there was plenty of time left on the 1 hour minimum service call, he suggested making some switched outlets 1/2 on the switch and 1/2 on all the time. I thought that was a great idea and asked him to do it. When he tried to do it, he couldn't make it work, and was going to leave it with 1/2 of the outlet permanently off. I actually had to tell him it made no sense to keep 1/2 of the outlet off no matter what the switch position. He said he wasn't sure why there were only 2 wires (I explained the wiring in these old houses is like that) then had to explain to him that jumpering 3 prong outlets in these older homes is against code (he said he'd done that before). I would not hire this company again. The price of the service call was outrageous for the poor quality of the service. read more
