Anyone, Aja(if you see this) have insight as to why this location closed? I was just driving by and saw the sign down and everything closed up. I really enjoyed the personal customer service and the early bird discounts. It made pick ups easy on the way to work. Sad to see it's closed. read more

*Come here if you'd like to be treated like a criminal. Ironically, I don't smoke. But everyone I know does and I often find myself tagging along in weed shops with them. (Also means they can use my first time discount or whatever it is). A friend was in town from San Diego and she wanted to stop by this place on our way from lunch. As two Black women, we were immediately delighted at the "Black and Brown Unity" sign in the window. That's where the delight ends. Upon entering you're scanned by a wand. For metal? Weapons? Idk, but I had flashbacks to going to "the club" in college for thirsty Thursdays. I've never been body screened at one of these but I thought "okkkkkkkk" The associate asked my friend what she was looking for (pre-rolls) and the associate directed us to the location. I asked a question or two, but lost interest in their exchange bc, well, I don't smoke. However, I did notice a table of plants, books, clothes and I think candles. That's more my speed and I'm always looking to support Black business - or at least a business staffed with all Black workers. But when I took a step towards the table, I was asked "excuse me, can you stay with us please. I can escort all of us to whatever location later." My mouth dropped open as I came to the realization that this was bc there was a suspicion of theft. I've never had to be escorted around a store like pre-school "follow the leader." I told her I would wait outside, bc it's not that serious to me and I don't stay anywhere I feel uncomfortable. Her "it's nothing personal." Me: what's the point of having a Black and brown unity sign if "white" dispensaries treat you like a shopper and yall making us uncomfortable? Her: like I said. It's nothing personal. We've been robbed before. Me: so what's the security guard for?? Security guard: *__* I go outside. My friend stays to get her pre-rolls. She comes out to tell me the card machine wasn't working, she had to get cash at the atm, and the selection was "mid." Classy! It's not like I was going to go there again but I certainly won't be referring them. I'll tell friends to go to Ohana Cannabis down the street from me. *now I'm wondering who actually owns this place read more

I've only been to dope sugar once because it's on my way home. Loved Courtney! Love the prices, nice clean dispensary with a free parking lot in the back. Will definitely be going back. I have been using the eaze delivery service but dope sugars prices are so much better! read more

I've had nothing but amazing experiences here. It's easy to find and there's a free parking lot and/or street parking. There's always security walking around, which makes me feel safe. I'm always greeted as soon as I walk in and there's always a person ready to help. I learned my friend was into Sativa which can keep you active and alert. After questioning me about my moods, it was suggested that I try Indica for its mellowness. A strain in between the two would be hybrid or balanced. I could try these strains in any number of applications be it a pen, an edible, a gummy or even a soft drink. The man suggested I try an edible and cut it into pieces to stagger the effects. This is called micro dosing. Whew!!!! I didn't buy anything but I'm here for a couple of days. My friend was very happy with their watermelon flavored pen and the pricing, while subject to change, was quite reasonable getting two pens for 30.00

We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.
