I love that this place has plenty of stock. In the past, most of the staff is friendly, energetic and helpful. Recently there's been a shift and it looks like possibly a lot of turnover? It's unfortunate. I think it's important for people to understand when they're in the service industry, their energy really affects the overall energy of the rest of the staff and the clients visiting. We can feel the negative energy immediately . I know we all have things going on in life, and life is intense right now. Because there's a lot going on in the world right; clients are looking to escape life's stress, if even for a moment. I also work in the service industry and I understand that many people shop and visit locations to escape and they will choose places that are more fun to purchase what they need versus sticking with a place where the energy is down. Maybe the problem is the staff? Maybe the problem is the Management, which makes the job not enjoyable for the staff? Maybe the problem is the owners? If it's a trickle, where the problem is at the top then please fix it because it's affecting your bottom line or it will as people choose other locations. I've been going to this location for a few years and the energy recently shifted from a fun place to visit to where people feel depressed and the energy feels toxic. What happened? This was one of my favorite dispensaries. They have a great selection and the consultants are friendly and knowledgeable. I use to go every one or two weeks to stock up. The reduction in stars is for unreliable, inconsistent and non communicative delivery services. I recently went on medical leave and am confined to home. I attempted delivery four times over four months because I love the selection and staff at the store. The first time I received a call from the store saying they couldn't deliver it that day. I told them their page said it was deliverable to my area, they said they couldn't at that time. The second time my order came and was well- packed. Third time my order was cancelled several hours after it was made. Fourth time I received notice that my order was cancelled late the day after the order was supposed to come. The Pottery is still a great dispensary if you are able to go in. However, If you are a medical patient and rely on delivery for your meds, you may want to try Goat Global or Erba who are more attentive to delivery. read more

Was my first time there and the guy helping me seemed like he didn't want to help even though there was like 2 other customers. He seemed like he just wanted me to get my stuff and go. I asked about certain products because the other shop I go to didn't have it and he would just open the drawer, look real quick and tell me they didn't have it. Then he charged me full price on everything even though the sign said 40% off for first time people and I told him it was my first time. Great stock of quality brands and service and prices from a genuinely knowledgeable and compassionate staff makes the Pottery a real standout among the generally dismal state of southern California dispensaries. Perhaps the most telling aspect of The Pottery is that all of the budtenders have been warm and welcoming to me. If you are older than fifty, you are probably all too familiar with the insulting and patronizing disposition of some of the big-name dispensary's staff towards seniors. It is one of the primary reasons I'm curtailing my cannabis budget. But the Pottery will actually treat us middle aged folk with respect, and that is priceless. Christian Allen Hands Down Best Bud Tender Very Knowledgeable And Nice 10/10 stars!!!

I've been going here for years... Loyal customer who continues to go back because of the quality products for good prices. But I've honestly had it with the customer service as it is clear they only care about making money and not their customers. Let me explain... It started with pre-ordering for 4/20 as I am a member and they released their deals a day early for us. I knew it would be crazy so I figured I'd make it as easy and as quick as possible. I submitted my order around 6pm-7pm on 4/19. I arrive at the shop on 4/20 at around 2pm. My order hadn't even been printed let alone the product separated and ready. I was told "We have been busy". Right... Mind you there were PLENTY of orders sitting there, ready for pickup, despite being sooooo busy. Then I get overcharged $11 because their website, Point of Sale/Inventory system, and receipts don't convey the same information. I came back at 8:50pm because the line was long all day and instead of being caring and understanding and acknowledging the issue was on their part, I get talked to by a guy named Chris, like it's crazy I'm coming back in and bringing this up and like I'm in the wrong. He was very condescending and even tried showing me his screen like that's a way to handle a customer issue caused by the business itself. And this is after the security guard wasn't even going to let me in, despite arriving before 9pm, claiming they were closed. Nowhere is it posted on the storefront, the website, or the app that states the store closes 10 mins early. They advertise they close at 9pm. My text for my initial order said the store was open from 8am-9pm. They just wanted to go home early and that was evident. After explaining my issue to the security guard, she began to answer questions as if she was knowledgeable about the product, POS, pricing, and discounts, which she was not, but kept trying to be defiant to prevent me from going in. She finally realized she had no business answering these questions and let me inside to wait for a budtender. This is after the same security guard denied entry to another customer because of another issue the business caused. All he wanted was a product that he asked for but wasn't put in the bag, although he wasn't charged. She was extremely disrespectful to him when it would have took ZERO effort, time, or money lost to take care of him and they would have had a customer for life. But he left saying "You just lost a customer" because of the way he was treated. So I'm not sure if this security guard has permission to take care of customer service issues but if she does, she handles them horribly. I really hope he posts a review somewhere about his experience but just witnessing and listening to it, he handled it the right way and was completely correct and got treated like crap. And on top of all of that, they have a point system that you can never use or redeem because the store is "always 40% off". Which has always made me suspicious because no other dispensary or store does anything like that. Marketing ploy? Possibly. I don't know for sure but combine all of this and I'm over it. Now they lost 2 customers because this business fails to understand how to value and do right by PAYING customers and by not providing the simplest customer service that would have cost the store absolutely nothing. It's a damn shame but I know I can find the great products from KIVA and Glass House Farms at almost any dispensary. Good riddance read more

They've amazing weed (HIGH TIER ONLY THOUGH) however their prices are disgustingly high. 2 grams for $28 that's ludicrous unless you want 2 grams of their boof weed. Went here yesterday to reward myself with some new greens after a busy day. Budtender at the counter was super relaxed and let us browse independently and answered questions whenever we had any. I can't remember their name but they were a shorter Latinx who wore their hair back and had some tats. Showed us some indoor greens that were packaged the day before. Got myself some KIVA gummies ($20), an eighth of XJ-13 ($45), and some KWIK Ease (THC beverage, $10). Got the 20% off FTP discount and it came out to about $81 after taxes. Haven't tried the gummies or beverage yet, but I'm currently vibing on the XJ-13 and it's great. So happy to find some fresh bud! read more

One of my favourite dispensaries in LA! It is very clean, chic, and the staff is wonderful. On a rare occasion I come across someone that isn't quite as eager to help, but it's not that big of a deal. Most everyone there is very pleasant and has good recommendations. I come here every week or so to stock up. The biggest plus for me here is that they accept credit cards (even AMEX)! I recommend checking out their daily deals on Weedmaps- sometimes you can get 10-20% off. They have a very extensive range of products and brands. Some products here can be quite overpriced, but there are other more reasonably priced options as well. I've tried both the high-end prices and the more inexpensive. Expensive isn't always better. My favourite brands they carry for green is Henry's, CRU, and then The Bloom Company has great disposable pens. Henry's also has great 4-packs of half gram pre-rolls that are very convenient, discreet, and great quality. For edibles, they have so many great flavours and options! The gummies and drinks are the way to go for me. If you like chocolate, I would recommend the KIVA bars! Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. They have a great range of product, and I'm sure there's something for everyone here. They have great first-time patient deals as well! read more

Y'all really fell off the map when you guys decided to switch up on your customer base. How are y'all gonna completely change how the point system works 3 different times with no kind of notice to your customer. We have accumulated our points and time after time you guys have made it harder and harder to accumulate and spend these points. 100 POINTS for a horrible house joint that won't even smoke all the way through like come on. I gotta spend 100 dollars for them to give me a nasty joint for 99% off if you don't see what's wrong with that you shouldn't be in business. Then you go behind the customers/members back and put a 50$ minimum to use our 10$ off that we get each month for being a member. Like are you serious it's a measly 10 bucks why do you guys insist of forcing the customer to spend more when it was 10$ off anything in the store regardless of the minimum. Regardless there are plenty of other shops out there with wya better point systems and with new and updated product you guys almost never have anything new in stock it's always old releases that you guys want us to pay a premium for.
