Bread, meat and butter are a combination that were just always meant to be. Whoever had the wonderful idea of combining them in the first place really deserves a hearty handshake.
Now that I have finished salivating at the mere thought of a sandwich, I can get to the business of writing about doorsteps. Doorsteps is a pretty good locally owned sandwich shop, especially compared to the hateful Subway chain.
The ingredients here are fresh and varied, with literally approximately 100 different combinations on their premade menus, so if you can't get something here, you probably don't like to eat sandwiches( I was going to say food but I didn't want to be insensitive to anorexics....though if anorexics are reading yelp they are really in the wrong place!).
This place gets bunged at lunch which can be annoying so try and get in early to get your sandwich made more lovingly. I also recommend the soups here, as I recently had a delicious potato leek and bacon soup from here which was a taste sensation! read more
