My dog died and I spoke with Vic in person about the death. He reassured me that he wasn't planning on changing the price for existing clients, just his new ones. I appreciated that sentiment since I had two other dogs and still wanted the service. The next month I paid the same amount that I was paying before, just one less dog since he had passed and that's what I had understood from the conversation with Vic prior. Unfortunately I understood wrong. Vic blew my my phone up today about his new prices to the point where it was obnoxious. I honestly was offended by him not sticking to his verbal word and chose not to continue the service, effective immediately. I told him to keep the money for the upcoming weeks because clearly he needed it and went on with my day at work. Vic went absolutely unhinged and harassed me for several hours by calling me, sending dozens of text messages, and also sending videos of himself even after I asked him to stop contacting me. Vic continued berating me over the course of an hour and went as low as insinuating that I was racist towards Mexicans, that I enjoyed having slaves, and he also belittled my personal finances/ housing situation.... Very weird encounter with this guy. Only called because I was canceling services with another business so I asked For for pricing and services. Got straight to the point because I didn't have time to sit there and have a full on conversation. This guy seemed a little bit off on the phone started rambling about other things that didn't even make sense once I got off the phone I felt uneasy about even booking with him. Ended up finding another business that I decided to go with so I texted him to cancel and this is what he responded back with, which is super weird for a businessman . He came to give me a quote but then didn't want to give me a price wanted me to tell him a price which felt very uncomfortable then I gave him a price he agreed and said he would come do the job at the end of his day. Then I waited all day and he never showed up when I texted him he said he ran out of time and he didn't know if he could make costs at my price. I told him he should not have agreed to the price if it was too low. I was in the market for a dog poop clean up service and was given his info and reached out. (See pictures of messages) Over 24 hours later, I got an unexpected random rude message. He asked me what I thought an initial clean-up would be so I gave him a price and he came by to do the work and said "your next visit is free." Who does that? Vic did a good job of cleaning our yard. However, his level of professionalism was seriously lacking. He does our pick-ups on Tuesdays. On a recent Thursday (Thanksgiving) after his service to our house, we noticed that there was more poop in the backyard than there should have been after only 48 hours. In addition, there were piles that seemed over a week old. (We did not contact him until late Sunday, however, to let him know.) We assumed it would be rational for a customer to question a person they had hired to do a job if in fact they had done it. We would have been understanding if he had simply replied that he didn't come by because it was Thanksgiving week, or that he must have missed a few spots, or that in fact maybe we were mistaken, or any sort of reasonable discussion that would lead to a fruitful resolution. But instead we were greeted with an essay of an email explaining that he was there and that maybe we should ask our neighbors or better yet install cameras to ensure that we know he is coming every week. Or as he says, "I got a great idea!!!!! I can leave the poo in your trash can in a trash bag then when you get home from work you'll know for sure." His email came across as sarcastic and rude. Bottom line, anyone who works is accountable for their time. Clients have the absolute right to ask their vendors for that accountability. A response such as Vic's is wholly unprofessional. I have a small backyard with 2 dogs so there was quite the mess. I called and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Victor came out and completed the job himself. He's very quick and makes sure to get it all. For the first visit it was either $40 or $60, I can't remember, either way I was grateful he could get me scheduled in so quickly & paying under $60 is worth it to me to have this service around! I called yesterday, Sunday 3/20, and Victor was able to get me scheduled for Monday 3/21 to do a quick cleanup for me. Where do I begin, my fiance hired this guy to help out with picking up our dogs poop. We utilized him for at least 2 years! In the beginning he was very friendly, social, and always came weekly. He slowly started changing days or times, would mention our area was out if his way(we live in sacramento, near arden area). He then would sometimes not show up for a week or two. He lied to my fiance about his past and said he was a police officer who had been shot at and the reality was he later said he lied due to wanting to make a good impression. He missed a few weeks of service at one point and was not answering phone calls or answeing text messages. We later found out it was because he was in jail. We tried to work with him as we are pro small business. We would pay him cash, and he ended up wanting to switch to cards. This would not be an issue if he used a secure website for payment but instead Vic wanted card information text over the phone and my fiance expressed concern about this info being on someones cell phone. In December we paid few months advance. He came a few times but not weekly as agreed and then called and said he was dropping us due to us not paying with a card. My fiance explained we paid him in advance but he did not care. Vic later send multiple messages harassing my fiance and claiming that ny fiances ptsd was fake and that it was not a real thing. The doody guy is very nice in the beginning but is unprofessional. After my fiance attempted to write a negative yelp review he text him again harassing him... None of what was posted was a lie, vic was just angry it was said. We now have service from another company with a secured online card payment and they are much more professional, and do not harass clients with calls or text messages. read more
