My dog died and I spoke with Vic in person about the death. He reassured me that he wasn't planning on changing the price for existing clients, just his new ones. I appreciated that sentiment since I had two other dogs and still wanted the service. The next month I paid the same amount that I was paying before, just one less dog since he had passed and that's what I had understood from the conversation with Vic prior. Unfortunately I understood wrong. Vic blew my my phone up today about his new prices to the point where it was obnoxious. I honestly was offended by him not sticking to his verbal word and chose not to continue the service, effective immediately. I told him to keep the money for the upcoming weeks because clearly he needed it and went on with my day at work. Vic went absolutely unhinged and harassed me for several hours by calling me, sending dozens of text messages, and also sending videos of himself even after I asked him to stop contacting me. Vic continued berating me over the course of an hour and went as low as insinuating that I was racist towards Mexicans, that I enjoyed having slaves, and he also belittled my personal finances/ housing situation.... Absolute nut job. This man cannot take no for an answer and his behavior to rejection is incredibly threatening and concerning. Employ this weirdo at your own risk. read more

Very weird encounter with this guy. Only called because I was canceling services with another business so I asked For for pricing and services. Got straight to the point because I didn't have time to sit there and have a full on conversation. This guy seemed a little bit off on the phone started rambling about other things that didn't even make sense once I got off the phone I felt uneasy about even booking with him. Ended up finding another business that I decided to go with so I texted him to cancel and this is what he responded back with, which is super weird for a businessman . Looking at the previous reviews and the way he responds doesn't seem like he takes his business seriously anyways. 10/10 would NEVER book with this guy!!! Go with poop911 or doo doo squad they're more professional Ewww and then what a creeper he sent me another message on another number and left me a long video so disrespectful so disgusting. I'm almost scared for my life. read more

He was 4 hours on Sunday. Bad attitude. Dosen't like veterans. I'm a Vietnam veteran. Dosen't do front yards.

We've had Doody Guy's service for well over 6 months, and this has been a great experience. He's very respectful but most importantly, he's extremely honest. We have no issues continuing the service and will do so. We appreciate you very much. read more

Doody Guy - Pet Waste Removal Near Me - Sacramento, California

Doody Guy has been a godsend for us. We have 3 dogs and our property is over half an acre. Vic has come out weekly for the past several years and he has always done a fantastic job. He always texts me with an ETA so I can make sure my dogs are inside. He has always gone above and beyond and does extra without asking for anything in return. His prices are very reasonable and he provides a great service. If you have critters, I highly recommend calling the Doody Guy! read more

Vic has been amazing! Incredible communicator. Hard working. Great attitude. Thorough and I never have to worry about crap in my years ever again. It's so worth it! I work so much that it's hard to keep up with my dogs and it was embarrassing. He's made my backyard something I can be proud of and I highly recommend him to anyone! read more

He came to give me a quote but then didn't want to give me a price wanted me to tell him a price which felt very uncomfortable then I gave him a price he agreed and said he would come do the job at the end of his day. Then I waited all day and he never showed up when I texted him he said he ran out of time and he didn't know if he could make costs at my price. I told him he should not have agreed to the price if it was too low. Then he responded that the price was fine and he just ran out of time so I got major mixed signals so I told him I felt like it was not a good fit as I need someone reliable if I'm gonna do business with them. Wow his response is pretty BS he has no integrity. He texted me after I posted this initial review to say he should not do free quotes anymore because they get him bad reviews. Unwilling to see that this review was because he was disrespectful of me and my time and told me he would show up and did not when I was at home waiting for him not because he came to give me a free quote. Also if he had just texted me to say hey I can't make it I would have understood but he no showed me that is unacceptable in business. read more

Doody Guy does the job. Victor loves his job and you can tell he loves dogs. He is quick and efficient when he comes to service the yard. I have a large yard and he manages to get through quickly. He is very responsive on text message. He is flexible if you need to switch times or days. His prices are fair as well. read more

I would like to first off say I don't even do reviews but felt it necessary. If I could give 0 stars I would. He is so rude for no reason. I was in the market for a dog poop clean up service and was given his info and reached out. (See pictures of messages) Over 24 hours later, I got an unexpected random rude message. Funny thing is, up until that message, I thought I had set service up with him as i immediately called the number he told me to call and led on to be his main office line. Glad I didnt and he referred me to someone else - doo doo squad. They are friendly and have a special going on and I paid for 3 months of service with deodorizer due to their special of one month free. Not just one as he tried to throw in my face That his clients prepay for. Very rude and unprofessional. It really just was the random follow up message and the expectation to give all my information in an initial text without verifying I have the correct number first. Win-win in my opinion. He doesn't need new clients as he stated and I got what I needed - a dog poop cleanup service that is FRIENDLY. read more

I wouldn't listen to negative reviews (poor horse) but read all the other positive reviews. I found Victor to be communicative and honest with lots of integrity. He asked me what I thought an initial clean-up would be so I gave him a price and he came by to do the work and said "your next visit is free." Who does that? Victor is friendly, takes pride in what he does - I mean come on, it's picking up dog crap for crying out loud - if you can take pride in that - you're a gem in my eyes! He was also willing to work with me on scheduling when others wouldn't. His price was also way less than the competition. I am sold! I hired Victor and he will be my poop-to-go guy from now on! He takes payment in a variety of ways - including Venmo which is completely secure. Thanks Victor! read more

I chose this company because the owner puts dogs first. He helped me pick a plan that worked best for our needs. He is good about checking that the gate is securely closed. He is reliable and NEVER misses anything in the yard. I appreciate that he makes multiple passes over the yard. It's always clean (even when I forget to mow) - sooo much better than other companies in the area! read more

High quality work by a high quality person. You can't go wrong by going with Doody Guy to clean your backyard. I called him for a big mission, to pick up 5 weeks of poop! It was a mine field in the backyard so I wasn't sure if he would be able to accomplish the mission. But in less than 20 minutes, the backyard was spotless! I don't even think my dog knew where he was because of how clean it was. I was SHOOK. DoodyGuy is very flexible. Tell him your time and he tries to make it work! He's always on time and friendly. My dogs love him too. I would suggest calling or texting him and making your appointment ASAP! read more

Vic is awesome! I called him in a pinch when one of my clients left their back yard a mess after we sold it and I was mortified for the buyers. Vic went the very next day after we spoke and cleaned it all up. He was super friendly on the phone and very reasonably priced. I will use Vic if I ever have this issue again and refer him to all my busy clients with pets! read more

Vic did a good job of cleaning our yard. However, his level of professionalism was seriously lacking. He does our pick-ups on Tuesdays. On a recent Thursday (Thanksgiving) after his service to our house, we noticed that there was more poop in the backyard than there should have been after only 48 hours. In addition, there were piles that seemed over a week old. (We did not contact him until late Sunday, however, to let him know.) We assumed it would be rational for a customer to question a person they had hired to do a job if in fact they had done it. We would have been understanding if he had simply replied that he didn't come by because it was Thanksgiving week, or that he must have missed a few spots, or that in fact maybe we were mistaken, or any sort of reasonable discussion that would lead to a fruitful resolution. But instead we were greeted with an essay of an email explaining that he was there and that maybe we should ask our neighbors or better yet install cameras to ensure that we know he is coming every week. Or as he says, "I got a great idea!!!!! I can leave the poo in your trash can in a trash bag then when you get home from work you'll know for sure." His email came across as sarcastic and rude. Bottom line, anyone who works is accountable for their time. Clients have the absolute right to ask their vendors for that accountability. A response such as Vic's is wholly unprofessional. If this is the same level of "professional" service that everyone else is receiving I would NEVER recommend Vic to any of our neighbors or friends. **Disclaimer - This review is based on our interpretation of correspondence with the Doody Guy (Vic) by e-mail, text messages, and phone calls.** read more

I am so glad I found Vic. I highly recommend. He is fast, efficient and never misses a poop. And he will also text you the day of your service and let you know a time range that he will be there. I find this incredibly helpful. I started with Vic when my daughter stayed for 5 months and brought her 3 dogs. Add my 2 and we had 5 dogs. I thought he was so good and a fair price that I kept his services after my daughter left. read more

My wife and I agreed that hiring someone to pick up poop in our yard was not a service we'd ever pay for. Well, we did, and, it's AWESOME! Doody Guy is professional and does great work. They are on time every week and are in and out quickly. We've already recommended him to a friend and will do so again. When you live busy lives, this is a service that makes life just a little easier. Thanks so much for the great work. P.S. Not only am I paying for someone to pick up poop on my lawn, I'm writing a review about it!! AWKWARD! But eh, they rock! read more

Vic is an awesome guy! He's very quick and efficient. I have a rather large backyard and it literally looks spotless. Would def recommend!

Vic is very very unprofessional. Gave me names of people that did not pay. Text me on a Saturday at 6:42 AM to tell me he was 20 minutes away. Really? On a Saturday??? Changed Routes and times constantly. Complained of other clients. I always paid immediately upon receipt. Now, he wants to be paid 2 months in advance! No Way! Glad to have cancelled read more

I have to admit that when I signed up for the Doody Guy I was a little skeptical about someone else picking up our dogs' poop. Having someone else pick up our dogs' poop made me feel as if I was being incredibly lazy. Plus I was not sure anyone would actually take the time to do a good job. To my pleasant surprise, the Doody Guy has been a great investment. Vic is always reliable, thorough, has incredible customer service, is professional, and courteous. If you have a busy work schedule, just can't physically pick up your dogs poop any longer, or are simply tried of doing it, call the Doody Guy! read more

I have a small backyard with 2 dogs so there was quite the mess. I called and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Victor came out and completed the job himself. He's very quick and makes sure to get it all. For the first visit it was either $40 or $60, I can't remember, either way I was grateful he could get me scheduled in so quickly & paying under $60 is worth it to me to have this service around! I called yesterday, Sunday 3/20, and Victor was able to get me scheduled for Monday 3/21 to do a quick cleanup for me. It's been approx 3 wks since the last cleanup, but my expectations were exceeded on the first cleanup and I know they will be on this one as well! read more

Where do I begin, my fiance hired this guy to help out with picking up our dogs poop. We utilized him for at least 2 years! In the beginning he was very friendly, social, and always came weekly. He slowly started changing days or times, would mention our area was out if his way(we live in sacramento, near arden area). He then would sometimes not show up for a week or two. He lied to my fiance about his past and said he was a police officer who had been shot at and the reality was he later said he lied due to wanting to make a good impression. He missed a few weeks of service at one point and was not answering phone calls or answeing text messages. We later found out it was because he was in jail. We tried to work with him as we are pro small business. We would pay him cash, and he ended up wanting to switch to cards. This would not be an issue if he used a secure website for payment but instead Vic wanted card information text over the phone and my fiance expressed concern about this info being on someones cell phone. In December we paid few months advance. He came a few times but not weekly as agreed and then called and said he was dropping us due to us not paying with a card. My fiance explained we paid him in advance but he did not care. Vic later send multiple messages harassing my fiance and claiming that ny fiances ptsd was fake and that it was not a real thing. The doody guy is very nice in the beginning but is unprofessional. After my fiance attempted to write a negative yelp review he text him again harassing him... None of what was posted was a lie, vic was just angry it was said. We now have service from another company with a secured online card payment and they are much more professional, and do not harass clients with calls or text messages. read more

Vic has been great for us. We got a chocolate lab a year ago, and a friend of ours referred Doody Guy. In a years time, he has never missed a week. He does a great job, and is friendly with our pets. He's super reliable always coming on Mondays for us, as we plan on mowing after he's done. One bad review on yelp said he only accepts cards. That is not true, as we send him a check once a month. We highly recommend him if you are tired of picking up your pet's poop! read more
