The other places we had tried she kept to herself and at the Bark barn she was playing with the other dogs and was comfortable in the group. Gabi is excellent with our teenager, very receptive to Lana's needs and she & Karsten take very good care of her by providing tons of play, multiple walks and regular water breaks as needed. I love that they are very good with communication, they ask how we have trained her & use those commands and we get regular updates all day regarding how she is doing. The space is beautiful, clean and green and well-maintained. Their sweet dog Coco is an added bonus and she & Lana got along almost immediately. I highly recommend sending your pet(s) to The Bark Barn if you are in the Westerville/New Albany area. Gabi and Karsten are amazing pet sitters who are very receptive to the needs of your pet and genuinely care about how you want your pet taken care of/trained/special needs - which we found is a rare quality in other over-crowded daycares and which we really appreciate!

They are that friend or family member that you know loves your pet, and would be happy to come over and take care of them. All while sharing some love. I trust them in my home unsupervised. We love the notations of how the visit went with our pets. We even had an occasion to sit down and discuss a week of multiple visits for a vacation. We just hated to board them, and no one was available. Plans freed up and our house sitter was able to come through. This does not deter from the fact that we were making plans to leave them solely in the trusted care of DD. Our house sitter was very happy that DD was able to care for the dogs twice during that week. They truly help to make your life run a bit smoother during a busy time.

By the first glimpse of their website to the first email and call, we knew that they were the breeder for us. After much debating, we finally settled on Emma and Duke's litter of mini Aussiedoodles. We could not be happier with the one we picked out! Thomas and Rustun answered all our questions, and were very patient with us while they found a nanny for Mozzie to fly him all the way to Durango, CO. He arrived safe and sound! He is so sweet and just wants to play and lay in our laps. Mozzie also loves to play with our neighbors dogs, his best buds, Pippa and Biscuit. He recently went to his first vet appointment and was a healthy happy pup! Not to mention, the countless number of people who have complimented us on Mozzie and asked who our breeder was! There are so many good things about the Puppy Schack, and we would recommend them to anyone who wants a trusting and respectable breeder, as well as a good doodle, that is a sweet, caring and loving pooch! Thanks for everything! We have already recommended you.

I took my dog in for a teeth cleaning, but she ended up having nearly $2,000 in surgery to remove all of her teeth instead. It was the right thing to do, but as you can imagine, it was extremely distressful. Afterwards I received the bill, which STILL included the cost of a "cleaning, polishing and fluoride treatment." I politely asked that the charge be removed, since her teeth were actually removed and never cleaned. Initially, they refused, saying I still owed them nearly $150 for the cleaning. I then wrote the office manager an email explaining the situation and expressing my disappointment. To her credit, she finally refunded the charge. However, during a follow up appointment, Dr. Todd Kyle had the audacity to tell me he didn't appreciate my email or my tone and abruptly tried to walk out of the exam. He didn't know the whole situation, clearly, nor had he given me the opportunity to explain my perspective. He was rude, dismissive and disrespectful. Without talking to his own staff about the situation, he decided it was his place to admonish me and tell me how I should have reacted. I refuse to let him treat me like that and would never let him treat a pet of mine again. The previous owners NEVER would have let this happen. I loved them and was an ardent advocate for them for decades. Now I'm looking for a new vet.
